Thanks ‘FLOOD’, but before I do, please can you confirm that I should carry out a complete uninstall.

I started to do it, & was asked whether I wished to keep items such as connection settings, Application settings, vault & back copies of vault.

I have already exported KPM passwords & made a KPM back up.

I just wanted to make sure I don’t remove anything I shouldn’t have done.

Thanks.

Hello @NIJU,

1 Keep:
✅ Vault
✅ Backup copies of vault

2  After uninstall, shutdown PC, select Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login:
3 Dowload new KPM installer.
4 Install.
5 Shutdown PC, select Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login:
6 Start KPM application, check version - if it’s not 9.0.2.1263 let me know?
7 If KPM application version is updated, start Chrome, if necessary enable KPM extension, recheck issue?

  • Please keep me posted?

Thank you

I am having exactly the same problem on Firefox Quantum 69.0.3 (64 bit). Key Icon shows red, asks for restart, which does nothing. Removed extension, but cannot see how to reinstall it.

Hello, i have been experiencing the same problem for about 2 weeks now, both on Firefox and Chrome.

Symptoms are (on firefox)  : red key sign, pop up windows saying need to reboot, but this does nothing. For a while, it helped to remove the extension, reboot then re-install it. The key usually went green for a few ours and the extension worked alright. But now this turnaround doesn’t work for me anymore.

I’m just glad to see i’m not the only one with this now…

I haven’t had the time to test every possible solution on this thread yet. I’m running version 9.0.2.1186 (b) / 1568994505_6298 on Windows 10
