Black screen whenever I try graphic mode, limited mode or hardware info.

I have tried to use the disk many times but I always get a black screen whenever I select any of the mentioned options. I read that my system may not be compatible but I think that's unlikely because the requirements are very simple. Attached are screenshots of System information.

Greetings,

I have Dell OptiPlex (bought in 2023) and have the same exact issue. The blank screen. I think something is wrong with the display of Rescue Disk 18 because after a couple of minutes which new linux shell is loaded, then pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del does not reboot the computer. It is strange to me how come this issue is not resolved yet.

I should also add that I cannot run limited graphic or hardware info as well.

Regards,

Ali

I FUND A TEMPORARY FIX !

burn on a USB Linux mint and download Kaspersky virus removal tool 2015 and put in the USB, then install in Linux using Software manager 'PlaywithLinux', the using this app, run Kaspersky.

DONT FORGEET TO MOUNT THE DRIVE THAT CONTAIN INFECTED WINDOWS

then when you open Kaspersky virus removal tool search for the mounted file of Windows!

That my temporary fix

@khal You're a crazy guy, but that worked actually. Thanks!

I was already dual booting so I simply used my linux os that was already installed.

Note: I had to configure playonlinux to emulate Windows 2007 for it to work.
