Unfortunately I have already tried those solutions severally to no avail. I have even contacted technical support and nothing yet

This user had already posted in another thread.

I oriented him to do some commands via CMD to correct the DNS problem.

Anyway, I had also oriented him to look for technical support, informing the same links that @Berny did.

Making repetitive posts will not solve the problem.

I just bought Kaspersky Internet Security product for 3 devices, subscription of 2 years. I was excited with this purchase until I tried to activate it on my Acer Aspire 5 laptop running Windows 11 Home Version 21H2 Build 22000.469

I have failed many times with the error: ‘Activation error: cannot setup server connection’

I have checked all these and yet nothing:

  • Incorrect date set on a computer.
  • DNS client service does not work on your computer.
  • DNS server malfunction on your Internet services provider’s side

I even got help from some IT person who shared some codes to run on CMD but it did not respond. Why does it fail to connect to ‘server’ and yet I can access internet with any other application?

I feel like Kaspersky is pushing me to pay for technical assistance by intentionally blocking access to the activation site so that I go that route.

There seem to be less topics like this one in the online community I need help anybody.

I’ll appreciate any help I can get
