If I use Kaspersky VPN, what information is shared with Hotspot Shield? What's the difference between using Kaspersky VPN, which rents servers from Hotspot Shield, and Hotspot Shield itself without Kaspersky VPN? I have read various reviews from 2017 that say: "Hotspot Shield faces allegations of abusing VPN users’ data" and "Hotspot Shield accused of snooping on VPN users and selling data to advertisers" and "Hotspot Shield VPN accused of violating users' privacy". So these articles are kind of a warning sign for me and I don't know if the situation has changed.

Hello! My kaspersky VPN is very slow on my macbook pro M3 with macos Sonoma v.14.5 although it works relatively fast on my old macbook pro with macos Catalina v.10.15.7. For example, when I switch on to the fastest server (Poland-Warsaw), the download/upload speed is 7Mbps/2Mpbs on macos Sonoma and 30mbps/11mbps on macos Catalina (two macbooks work simultaneously). The original internet speed is about 100mbps. Same happens with any other location. I cannot find the reason for that. What happens? What's wrong? Can you help me to solve this?

my friend already has a Kaspersky VPN subscription and we got the "Kaspersky Premium" subscription today we tried adding more devices under the same user yet only the original Kaspersky VPN subscription is getting used can't we use the VPN from the Premium subscription? -

我昨天刚下载VPN，今天安装的时候发现在c盘就复制了一份到D盘然后把c盘的放回收站了。发现D盘的打不开又把回收站里的c盘那部分恢复了。能打开了但是连接不了。也把VPN通过防火墙了，但是还是不行

KSK has sort of cancelled its VPN service in India. My query is, what happens if you go for auto renewal/buy Plus/Premium again? Does the VPN simply stop working when the current subscription ends or does it work as normal after auto-renewal/buying again? I'm looking for actual user experience, not tech support answers. -

I have downloaded the .ovpn file from https://my.kaspersky.com/VPN and saved the username and password. I can not connect to vpn using this file either from network manager or cli using 'openvpn --config credentials.ovpn' .

I have Kaspersky VPN installed on a device, which is associated with a previously purchased Premium license. I have bought a Plus license for this device, but when I try to connect the VPN to the Plus license, it automatically links to the Premium license. Since the Premium license already has an active Kaspersky VPN device, it remains in its free version. How can I change the license associated with Kaspersky VPN?

Hi, I am currently using Kaspersky Premium version 21.16.6.467 and whenever I try to play a game through steam (CS2, Warzone, etc) I am unable to connect to matches. I can connect to games normally when I use Kaspersky VPN or when I completely uninstall Kaspersky Premium. I would like to be able to play my games without having to use the VPN as it affects my connection and I would preferably like to keep Kaspersky installed on my machine. I want to note that up until last week I had no such issues for nearly 3 years of using Kaspersky products. I am not sure what happened but after a database update I started facing this issue. Other friends who also use Kaspersky AV do not have the same issue as I do. -

Heya! The title is quite self-explanatory. I'm planning to get Kaspersky premium, and i was wondering if there was more servers of each country or is it one sole server for each country. or possibly providing a dedicated static IP. such a service would be a life saver for me since some applications tend to block vpn IPs unless they were static or dedicated (such as Riot Games). and i know that another VPN has it, but for this case specifically I'm wondering if kaspersky may hold it? Or if i can ask for it to be achieved from support? And for the sake of the rules my OS is Windows 10, Running on a soon-to-be Kaspersky premium + VPN Thanks! -

Eu sei que alguns aplicativos acessam links em segundo plano, mas esse número não está alto demais para somente 5 dias? Outra desconfiança que tenho é que a cada 5 min eu recebo de 5 à 7 notificações dizendo que não foi possível verificar a segurança do link e então vem a notificação dizendo que o botão de emergência foi acionado. Devo me preocupar ou esse número de links é normal e as notificações são somente instabilidade na conexão?

Hi there everyone! My first time posting, so I apologise for any mistakes. For the past month or so, my Kaspersky VPN app has just been showing 'connecting'. If I try to turn the VPN off, it freezes. I also get a 'Failed to connect' error occasionally. I've tried restarting my PC, restarting my internet, reconnecting. I've been through my settings and they all seem okay, plus my subscription is still valid until March. Does anyone have a solution to this? It's quite annoying to not feel protected right now, haha!
