Hello, I am new to hack and penetration testing and want to be assured that I am not downloading malicious files. For context, I am running Kali Linux in a VM and want to update Python. upon running the command └─$ sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y I became very aware of numerous files blocked by Kaspersky that appear to be malicious, but in reality very well may just be tools that are used to perform Hack and Penetration Testing. Please reference the screenshot below. I also will paste my report if needed, but seeing as it contains minor personal information (name of PC and my username) I don't want to do that unless absolutely necessary. Hola, recientemente he formateado mi PC y he instalado Kaspersky, pero estaba muy indeciso a la hora de instalar, y he cancelado la instalación 2 veces antes de instalar el programa completamente. Cuando se abre el primer instalador, genera un instalador con la versión más reciente de Kaspersky en la carpeta ProgramData, luego este se abre y al cancelarlo, este se queda allí también dejando un acceso directo en el escritorio para realizar la instalación más tarde, no me había dado cuenta de esto, y por cada instalación utilicé un nuevo Setup descargado. Debido a que cancelé la instalación, estos archivos se quedaron en la carpeta ProgramData, ya la tecera vez instalé completamente el programa y es el Kaspersky que tengo ahora. Al limpiar los datos temporales en Kaspersky y reiniciar se borró el instalador utilizado, quedando solamente las dos carpetas de instalación anteriores que nunca realicé, las cuales posteriormente borré. Me preguntaba si el hecho de haber cancelado la instalación antes de la instalar Kaspersky podría tener consecuencias o si afectan la seguridad. La verdad es que soy una persona bastante perfeccionista, ya había formateado 4 veces seguidas hace poco y no quisiera hacerlo nuevamente. (PD: Utilicé el instalador de la versión Free, aunque aún me quedan 7 días de Plus)

Salve, ho un problema, dopo aver ripristinato Windows ho reinstallato l'Antivirus Kaspersky Security Cloud Free, dopo aver eseguito l'accesso mi dà: "L'applicazione non è stata attivata". Hi , I'm Mohamed Ahmed, I'm a new user to my kaspersky Free , i installed The product successfully , now its time to activate the Product ; to enable the protection but , when i try to activate it , it says connection problem ( see screenshot ) for better understanding - I live in egypt , im using win 11 , 22h2 - My internet Connection is Working I contacted Kaspersky Lab Support , but i didn't get any Fix for the problem - I tried to use Kaspersky Security Cloud Free But the Same Problem Hope you Guys can help me . best wishes

Note: I rooted my device. For some reason, my tablet has been turning off without warning or shutting down at weird battery percentages (when it shut down at 83% it now showed off 38%, or even it shut down at 80% and it showed off 0%, not sure if it's a battery issue or the Trojan Is eating up battery, or it even remains at 100% for a long time and then shuts down to 0%).

I'm having a slight problem with Kaspersky- for some reason it's saying that a normal website, or at least it was in the past, has a bad certificate. I visited this website on my phone on Chrome to confirm, but Chrome found no problems with it's certificate. The certificate is fully valid and is valid until 2023. I also clicked the "View certificate" button and it also seems completely fine. The reason that the visit was prevented was because of " One of certificate files has incorrect extension". Is this a bug, did a normal website get broken into or is something going on on my end??

For a couple weeks now I've been unable to connect to both the Steam and Epic Games Launchers. After a lot of troubleshooting I was able to narrow the cause down to Kaspersky Security Cloud specifically. I have been using Kaspersky for over two years now with no issue but suddenly it started preventing connections. I found that I have to completely close Kaspersky in order for both launchers to be able to connect, I can't just pause protection. I tried disabling things in the settings that made sense to me and adding them as trusted applications but nothing seemed to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I don't want to have to turn off my anti-virus every time I want to play a game.

I was downloading Kaspersky, started a full scan and tried upgrading my Kaspersky Subscription and completely bugged out the application and removed 11 months off my subscription. It stopped from full usage of my PC and bugged out my subscription and stopped the scan. Very rare bug that probably no one would do but decided to let yall know.

Hi kaspersky, I am using your kaspersky free on my laptop but when i am going through the gui it seems kinda laggy anyway to make kaspersky free gui not lagging

What is wrong with this antivirus program? I've been using it for a couple of years, no issue. For the past few months, it's been updating multiple times a day requiring program restart. When I click yes to restart the program, it restarts then silently disables itself. I look in my system tray and there's a red Kaspersky icon. I click on it and it says the program is disabled and I have to manually enable it. WTF? Why should I have to manually enable an antivirus program that I did not disable myself? And 5 minutes after I re-enable it, I get another pop up telling me about a new update requiring restart. AGAIN? WTF? Never had to deal with this crap before. Any idea what is going on or how to fix it? Thank you.

Пробовал его удалить с помощью kavremover(в безопасном режиме тоже), через unlocker и много других подобных программ, вручную(папка Kaspersky lab не разрешает изменить владельца), все без результата. Avbr ничего не нашел, запускал его несколько раз, ничего запуску не препятствовало. При установке KSC минут 5 пытается удалить прошлую версию, не получается, а при следующем запуске установщика просто выводит "Неизвестную ошибку". 1. Keep getting this warning msg/similar: I put '192.168.0.52:443' in Security settings > Advanced settings > Network settings > Trusted addresses, but I still get the same warning. 2. Help page for this says to tap Show details (see below) - which doesn't exist. If tap Details, you don't get the info below. I understand the risks and wish to continue isn't anywhere.

Kaspersky Security Cloud updated into Kaspersky Free a long while ago, but today I logged into My Kaspersky and noticed that I have a "Not supported in your region" text for some reason. This warning isn't displayed anywhere in the programs, only on My Kaspersky. If I click on any of the devices in My Kaspersky, it says that my subscription is active and everything's alright. To reiterate, KSC ITSELF updated to Kaspersky Free. Is it because I might've downloaded the EU version of KSC, is it something to worry about?

I'm ***** ***** after having the issues from KSK features. I deleted the profile of my kid in Safe Kids program as I require it no longer. But right after that, this feature asking me to login by choosing option as either parents or child(add child). But most annoying is that no matter how many times I choose to login as parents & putting the password to activate, it's flashing me same screen message 'Unknown error occurred' And than just back to selection screen again! What the hell! I can't even get in to my pc! Plz, help someone. How can I overcome this. My subscription email id is same as this one. Now I'm in helpless situation & posting this request from my mobile.

OS - Windows 7 Home Premium SP-1, Kaspersky Free v.21.6.7.351 Hello... Browsing the file system, I've noticed this folder containing many other folders numbered sequentially since the day the app was installed. Presumably these are created when the program updates itself. My question is why do I have to keep all these old patches? At the moment there are 111 folders, each containing the exact same content with a couple files being newer each time. Disk space used is small - only 3 Mb, so that's not an issue. Explorer counts 777 files and 777 folders within the PATCH folder. I would like to delete these if not needed.

I just got the kaspersky free and after not even two weeks it's demanding a subscription in order to work, which it's either the standard paid version or the plus version. Isn't the point of FREE version be free?? Why is it demanding this? I'm aware that a free version has limitantions and I was fine with that, but why it's asking for a code and pretty much became an useless app now? Is that it? This "free" version it's just a tool to get people try for not even 10 days and make them pay? Wihtout telling them about it?

Hi, I installed Kaspersky Security Cloud and when I try to activate the program it shows that you have used your free trial. So, I can't proceed from there and can't even use the free version of this program. Please help me to fix this issue. Thanks.

при запуске программы выходит текст проблема с подключением интернета на всех 4 устройствах так же ,пробовал удалить устройсва из аккаунта и добавить снова но без успешно что можно сделать с этим ,что бы исправить ошибку ?

Hi all I just installed Kaspersky Security Cloud Free (file: ks4.021.3.10.391en_25100) and when I am asked to input my email, nothing happens after clicking on continue? I tried again after rebooting and still nothing. I attached the screenshot of the issue at hand. Please help!

I didn't know that this was possible. But of course, this technique makes sense because images are clusters of data and there's data within the data. My question is simple, as the heading implies. Can Kaspersky security suite of software scan images for malware? I've kept website scans of all URLs enabled and I want every website that I visit to be scanned by my Kaspersky antivirus. I want to know, do Kaspersky's anti viruses also scan images along with the URLs on elsewhere on a website? If not, are Kaspersky working on this feature right now? If not, then my request would be to work on this. Thanks.

Доброго времени суток. У меня такая ситуация: Я начал авторизовываться в своей почте mail.ru и у меня стоит 2FA и номер телефона. Приложение mail.ru на телефон, перед сканированием qr-кода для успешного входа, красный текстом написало: Проверьте адресную строку (что-то типо такого). Я вроде как проверил, все норм. Но, меня испугала эта красная надпись и теперь я паранойю, что авторизовался на фейк-сайте. И меня взломали. Хотя телефон и 2FA привязаны к почте. Судя по логам IP-шников и входов mail.ru что доступны в настройках, везде вроде как мой IP-шник. Наглядных причин взлома почты я не наблюдаю, то есть не странных писем, не SMS-уведомлений на телефон не приходило. Вопрос вот в чем, у меня стоит Касперский, но самый-самый простой. Разрешил бы мне Касперский открыть фейк-сайт? Или же он его бы сразу заблокировал? И еще вопросик: Если у меня на почте привязан номер и 2FA, меня возможно ли как-то взломать, войти на почту, угнать другие аккаунты. Если у меня везде номер телефона и 2FA? Since latest update to 21.6, I keep getting this error. The UI does seem to restart itself no problem but leaves this message on the desktop along with an abandoned icon in the system tray.

My Avast is going of constantly, first it said it was in tempio folder, now its just Temp. It started like from nowhere. I tried deleting them, but they came back.
