URL: https://dropgems.xyz/ This is a false positive. dropgems.xyz is my own legitimate personal web application — an airdrop/crypto portfolio management tool. It does not have any login/password fields collecting third-party credentials, does not impersonate any bank, exchange, or wallet provider, and does not request private keys or seed phrases. Domain details: - Registered: 9 Jul 2026 via P.A. Viet Nam Company Limited - Hosting: Vercel (frontend), Render (.NET Core backend) - OpenTIP report: https://opentip.kaspersky.com/https%3A%2F%2Fdropgems.xyz%2F/?tab=lookup I have already submitted this URL for reanalysis via OpenTIP multiple times over the past 3+ days, but it is still flagged as "Dangerous / Phishing" with no update or email response. We believe this may be an automated heuristic flag triggered because the domain is very new and relates to cryptocurrency-themed content. Could someone from the Kaspersky team please help expedite manual review of this domain? Happy to provide any additional verification if needed. Thank you.

Hi: Many thanks for the answer. So sorry I didn't get back to you when I should have. I've been mostly bedridden for a while now and never seem to have enough "up" time to get around to everything that needs doing. The second time I got up after the answer I was determined to get this done, but saw that it was already done so there must have been some automatic component to the update. Either that, or Caspar had visited while I slept. But thank you very much for giving me a solution so quickly.

Hi all: Running Win 10 Home, 22H2 Have Kaspersky Total Security but despite following what directions I could, I cannot find the version number. I have been getting notices for a couple weeks now that My KTS wasn't updating - It's set to auto update. When I go and try to run the updated manually, it just shows as Failed. I've questioned the KB, but nothing, Tried nosing around myself to see if anything was mentioned anywhere, but nope. It's making me nervous not to have my full protection. Any hints or help would be greatly appreciated. TIA ~m

Problem description: Hello Kaspersky Support Team, I would like to report a critical issue with Kaspersky Internet Security on Windows 11. Since yesterday, Chromium-based browsers have stopped browsing the Internet correctly while Kaspersky is active. The issue affects both Google Chrome and Brave. Windows shows that my laptop is connected to the Internet and has Internet access, but when I try to open websites from these browsers, the pages either keep loading indefinitely or fail with the following error: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET The browser console also shows multiple connection-related errors, such as: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET The clearest case happened with Brave. I installed Brave from scratch to rule out a corrupted Chrome installation or Chrome user profile. Brave worked normally for a few minutes after installation, but then it started failing exactly like Google Chrome. This allowed me to rule out Chrome-specific corruption as the cause. Other browsers that are not affected by this issue can browse the Internet normally on the same laptop and using the same Internet connection. Before confirming that the issue is related to Kaspersky, I tried the following troubleshooting steps: Fully reinstalled Google Chrome. Installed Brave from scratch. Tested with new browser profiles. Confirmed that no proxy is enabled in Windows. Tested with dynamic DNS settings. Previously, when the issue started, I was using Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Disabled Secure DNS in the browsers. Disabled QUIC/HTTP3 in Chrome and Brave. Tested with IPv6 disabled. Flushed DNS cache and reset Windows network settings. Scanned the computer for malware. Tried changing Kaspersky encrypted connection scanning settings. Temporarily disabled Kaspersky protection from its settings, but the issue persisted. The problem was resolved only when I completely turned off Kaspersky Internet Security. After fully turning off Kaspersky, Brave immediately started browsing normally again. This strongly suggests that one of Kaspersky’s components, services, network filters, HTTPS inspection features, firewall modules, web protection modules, or internal drivers is interfering with Chromium-based browser connections and causing ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. I do not want to browse without antivirus protection enabled, so I need help identifying exactly which Kaspersky component is causing this issue and how to fix it without fully disabling Kaspersky Internet Security. I am attaching screenshots showing the issue in Brave, including: A browser page failing with ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. The browser console showing multiple connection reset errors. YouTube showing a “Connect to the Internet” message even though the Internet connection works correctly in other browsers. Additional information: Operating system: Windows 11. Affected product: Kaspersky Internet Security v 21.3.10.391. Affected browsers: Google Chrome and Brave last versions. Error type: ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. Internet works correctly in other browsers (I used perplexity comet ). The issue disappears only when Kaspersky Internet Security is completely turned off. The issue started suddenly yesterday. I have used Google Chrome together with Kaspersky for years without this problem, so I suspect it may have been caused by a recent update to Kaspersky, its protection modules/databases, Windows, or Chromium. Please provide specific instructions to fix this issue without having to completely disable Kaspersky, or confirm whether there is a known issue, patch, update, or recommended configuration to resolve this incompatibility with Chromium-based browsers. Thank you.

In early April, I updated Kaspersky to the latest version, but removed the older version and cleaned the registry. Around the same time, there was also a Windows security update. I have been a Kaspersky user for years without problems, but in April, suddenly a lot of issues arose. Two days ago, a new Windows security update was released, and now everything is working properly for me again (I don't know for how long). Both Smart Home and the visibility of my NAS in Windows Explorer are working again. As it looks now, the April Windows update was the cause.

Update. As of today, the support case has not been resolved. Furthermore, I now see different location services provide different info. The MaxMind.com site they (K-support) insist using seems doing better, but others e.g. whatismyip.com are completely out of whack. The trouble is, if it's wrong in one service, whatever I'm trying to connect to might be using exactly same way to detect IP and I get the boot. Again, I don't recall this issue last year.

Patch “B” voor Kaspersky MR25 (21.25.7.504) wordt momenteel uitgerold. De automatische update wordt geleidelijk aan vrijgegeven.

My Kaspersky VPN recently updated itself. I was alerted to this by it asking me to accept the terms and conditions again. I then found a few disturbing changes : 1. It automatically changed my settings to accept KSN (which was previously disabled). 2. The other problem was a BIG one because I didn't spot it immediately, and therefore had my privacy breached ... IT FAILED TO HIDE MY IP AND LOCATION! I immediately logged a support ticket, and while I was waiting for a reply, I disabled my IP6 settings in my network adapter. This stopped the problem, so the automatic updated had caused the app to leak IP6 information, and thereby disclosed my IP4 address and location. When support wrote back, they advised me to remove the VPN with Kavremvr.exe and reinstall the VPN software. This has now fixed the IP6 leaking problem, BUT I RECOMMEND THAT YOU ALWAYS CHECK YOUR IP ADDRESS WHEN YOU NOTICE AN AUTOMATED UPDATE. I have asked Kaspersky to investigate the automatic update process to avoid this in the future.

Yes, but adding another background task is unnecessary and giving the user control over it should be standard practice. Just like Hard Drive Health Monitor. The application visualizes this data across multiple granularities: yearly (monthly breakdowns), monthly (daily), weekly ( still daily) and daily (hourly). Even if we assume only 50 processes are being tracked, that equates to a baseline of at least 100 data points (read and write entries) per day. When factoring in the hourly logging for the daily view, we are looking at an additional 48 data points per day, minimum. While 4 bytes per data point scales to a negligible ~54 KB per year, my concern is absolutely not the total storage footprint, it is the write frequency and the potential constant disk I/O. Let me point this out before you say anything about the numbers below. I know that various programs can do significantly more than that. To test this, I am currently idling with no active internet-heavy processes. I will check the data written from Task Manager to see a baseline, then start a download via curl (to keep the internet use overhead minimum by not using a browser) and see the difference. If the percentage increase in disk writes is not a big deal, I'll assume it just keeps the data in memory and flushes it to the disk periodically or during a clean exit/shutdown. If not, then the frequent disk activity is a valid concern. I just finished testing this and measured the disk write differences across 4 stages. Tests are 5 minutes long. Here are the results. No UI (Kaspersky is on the system tray) + No apparent internet use: 573 kB No UI + Yes Internet: 549 kB Yes UI + No Internet: 1274 kB Yes UI + Yes Internet: 3315 kB With just one test per case, I don't think we can call it 100% conclusive. But since I kept an eye on Task Manager the whole time and made sure no background tasks like Windows Update interfered, I still think there should be an option to disable it. Can't it monitor the ports without keeping speed and data records? Do you think it's hard to implement? Speaking of features, it just occurred to me. Isn't there a dark mode feature on the forum?

Hello @CK1, Welcome back! Hi all.... Just a moan about how shoddy Kaspersky web site is. Signing in via my main PC... Win 11 Pro 25H2 Fully patched... Using MS Edge .. latest version Dont know how it works in other countries... but our Bank cards have an expiry date... and the card I use to pay for Kaspersky expires on 04/26.... and my subscription expires on 26th Apr 2026.. So VERY tight... so I wanted to update it to avoid issues. Signed into "My Kaspersky" and went to update the payment method. 1. Going directly to change payment method, it allows you change details.. but the "Save" button is missing on the screen... so you cant actually update it. 2. If you go to "info" about the payment method first, and THEN go to change details... you DO get the "Save" button at the bottom. 3. So I made the changes... it went through the process with my bank (i.e. I had to authorise a payment of £0.0 via my bank app). 4. then it came back with a red box with a cross (suggesting it had failed) saying the payment method was already present... and when I looked at payment details, it still showed the card expiry date of 04/26. 5. So... just to be sure... I logged out of "My Kaspersky" and logged back in.. and sure enough, payment details now showed the correct/updated expiry date. So all in all... pretty bad experience..

Question in title. I want to use both Kaspersky AND Windows Defender, but the problem is the only way to turn on Defender is to de-register Kaspersky from WSC. With Malwarebytes, this can be done simply by changing its settings. With Kaspersky, it's a lot more complicated. Messing with gpedit doesn't work. Removing Kaspersky's WMI entry doesn't work, it just readds itself, even if self-protection is disabled. I tried every Powershell command the Internet suggested, but nothing worked. Anything else I can try or do I have to wait for a future update to do this? (Win11, 26200.8737)

Frage dazu in wie weit ist das beim gestaffeltem Verteilens eines Update wichtig ob KIS-Lizenz oder einer neuen . Spielt das eine Rolle bei dem verteilen des gestaffelten Update

+ Update I enabled traces and tried to find if I could find something. I could see below from logs, ERR lic.conv Unknown saas tier:0 ERR FacadeImpl::CheckActiveLicenseApplicability check failed: 0xa04c002a Unknown saas tier:0 - I am not able to find information about this. I am not sure if I could reachout to Kaspersky support, as there is a process with them is time consuming and they never troubleshoot online or over a remote session. - Thank you for your assistance.

+ Update I had same issue with another KSC server, but the license there is NFR and added a task to add key which took very long time, but the license as been applied. If there are anyone from Kaspersky, could you tell me that if this is something in place to avoid people using trail license on expired licenses, so I wouldn't try anything and would build a new KSC. - Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Hello @Zork, You're most welcome! We're delighted to read the first part of the issue is resolved! Well done! 21.3. is *up-to-date* for 21.3 but it's positively medieval, it *should* have been updated to the most current version 21.24 *automatically*, however, oftentimes, when installations go awry that may not happen - as would appear to be what's happened with (yr) Kaspersky software. 21.24 is Kaspersky's new generation software - (you'll) see many changes, it's much more than window-dressing, READ: About Kaspersky solutions & What's new in the latest version of the application remember (refer to the image below) -> in every Kaspersky GUI - a question-mark in the top-right-hand-corner (C) represents a link to HELP documentation AND 21.24 has a SEARCH field (D) -> for best results use simple-search-terms, for example fire will open the Window where the Firewall module can be accessed... Don't mess around with PS, batch-scripts or anything else - do as instructed, either download on top, at the end of that process run a Database update, then shutdown of the machine using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, power-on by pressing the power-button, login, monitor OR do a clean install, IF doing a clean install - save LICENSE information only, after installing the new software - run a Database update followed by a SHUTDOWN & power-on of the computer - login & monitor for the original problem? After the shutdown & bringing the machine back online - at some stage - we would expect seven days max -> a patch may be released to (yr) installation - if all things are progressing normally there should be a notification -> and the action/s (you) need to take -> normally a reboot to apply the patch - image - our installation on patch(a), after receiving notification of an *automatic-update*, a reboot/shutdown applied patch(b) Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋
