  1. I want to configure a KSC as an update server on the external network and a KSC as a functional server on the internal network to distribute agents. After completing the initial setup, I found in the help documentation that I need to configure it in "General," but I couldn’t find the "General" section—where is it? Additionally, I've granted myself all roles,why are the "Infrastructure" and "Console Settings" options grayed out? Currently, the only account I can log in with is the local account using the local machine password—what are the passwords for the other accounts?

  4. Добрый день, Как правильно делать скриншоты: https://support.kaspersky.ru/common/diagnostics/492#block1, можно воспользоваться ножницами. Так это не стороннее ПО, продукт Лаборатории Касперского. Kaspersky Update Utility не устанавливается, достаточно распаковать архив и запустить программу. Так убедитесь в этом, точно ли Robocopy этим занимается или же у вас сидит вирус, который антивирус не видит. С подробным описанием, трассировками и отчетом о системе обратитесь в поддержку: https://support.kaspersky.ru/b2b/ru#contacts, возможно ложное срабатывание эвристического анализатора.

Kaspersky Update Utility у нас нельзя стороннее ПО устанавливать, а только разрешенное тем более нет связи на этих машинах они без внешней сети, По поводу то что там нет вирусов, так как изначально базы выкладываются на сервер на котором уже есть Антивирус Касперского, после я копирую эти базы на свой комп, на котором тоже есть Антивирус Касперского обновленный, после чего я копирую эти базы на флешку которая используется только на машинах без сети, после чего я копирую эти базы на одну из машин на которых стоит Касперский но правда не с последними обновлениями и уже раскидываю по машинам которые находятся во внутренней сети.
  6. возможно существование Kaspersky Update Utility для вас тоже будет новостью. Тогда почитайте. Она больше подходит для ваших целей. это утверждение, исходя из ваших скриншотов, вызывает сомнение. Как выше написали есть подозрение на работу шифровальщика.

  8. @Longlife bisher habe ich immer für die Installation / Update auf neue Programmversion den Installer hier geladen und installiert / im Falle des Updates drüberinstalliert. https://www.kaspersky.de/downloads/standard Ist das eine andere Variante wie die App-Version im MyKaspersky Account und kann ich das nicht mehr wie beschrieben handhaben? Falls es sich um unterschiedliche Versionen handelt, was ist genau der Unterschied? Oder ist in der App Version der Key irgendwie integriert, was ja bedeuten würde, dass man Kaspersky nach Ablauf eines Keys immer neu installieren muss mit dem neu integrierten Key oder wie läuft das? Bisher war es doch auch so, dass man einen Lizenzkey im Account hinzufügen konnte und im Programm beim Account Login dann auswählen konnte, welcher Lizenzschlüssel verwendet werden soll. Geht das weiterhin?
  9. I've install a Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux 12.2 on a Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. The network agent 15.1 was installed too. I have a KSC 15.1 on Windows. We already But the protection seems to be stopped and the policy that I've created is not appliyng.   11. Hello, I cannot update my AV database. I'm from Myanmar and I'm trying the premium trial to see whether its' AV and VPN works properly. I tried with both my home wifi and my data hotspot. It always stopped at 8%. I have attached screeshots. the vpn is also not working, stuck at introduction page. 😞 Operating system: Windows10 V22H2 (OS Build 19045.5854)
  12. Hallo zusammen, ich spiele derzeit wieder mal Call of Duty MW3. Um das Spielerlebnis zu verbessern nutze ich einen legalen FoV Changer (Field of View), der mein Sichtfeld erweitert (herauszoomt). Dieses Programm hooked sich in das Game ein und modifziert es, indem es wohl einen Wert für eben den FoV ändert. Kaspersky hat, bevor ich den FoV Changer zu den Ausnahmen hinzugefügt habe, regelmäßig mein Game gecrashed (als Info, falles das relevant ist). Jetzt aber crashed mein Spiel, weil Kaspersky irgendwelche Trojaner erkannt haben möchte. Dieser soll sich in der "Update.exe" (siehe Log) befinden. Es gibt in diesem besagten Ordner keine exe, die so heißt. Ich bin völlig planlos. (ein schön von mir formatiertes Log bzw. Bild davon hängt an - ihr braucht drei Bildschirme um alles zu lesen...) Was mir zu diesem Zusammenhang noch einfällt: Ich war vor ein paar Wochen in einer Lobby als plötzlich mein Game mit einer sehr seltsamen, vom Gamedeveloper wohl eincodierte Fehlermeldung, gecrashed ist. Im Anschluss musste ich meinen Rank resetten und alles (Fortschritt, Waffen, Rang etc.) war weg. Im nachhinein habe ich mich in einer anderen Lobby darüber beschwert und es antwortete jemand an, der sagt er könne mir alles wieder zurückgeben (Items, Waffen etc.) und ich solle ein paar Sekunden warten. Dann erscheint "Rank up" auf meinem BIldschirm und siehe da, es ist alles wieder da (ich habe wohl einen full-unlock von einem Fremden bekommen). Das Game ist wohl so dermaßen löchrig, dass jeder etwas mit meinem Game anstellen kann (es ist peer to peer hosted; keine dedizierten Server) und jetzt frage ich mich, ob ich mir darüber irgendwelche Viren, Trojaner, Malware eingefangen habe. Ich habe bereits die Kaspersky Rescue Disk über mein System laufen lassen - nichts. Außerdem habe ich die Game files über Steam verifizieren lassen. "All 453 files successfully validated". Wenn was fehlt, steht da normalerweise noch wieviel heruntergeladen wurde, oder?   14. Hallo, in 14 Tagen läuft meine Lizenz aus und ich möchte updaten. Wenn ich auf "Verlängern" tippe, werden mir für diese Version 35 € angezeigt. gehe ich auf die Homepage, dann wird dort für 25 € angeboten. So sollte Kaspersky eigentlich nicht mit langjährigen Kunden umgehen. Vorsichtshalber habe ich meine Version zum Laufzeitende gekündigt. Wie soll ich weiter vorgehen, was schlagt Ihr vor?
  15. Both my Kaspersky Premium and Standard got updated to the latest version and after update it showing in Changelogs that Windows Sleep mode is delayed until a full scan is complete. Does this mean I can't put Windows to sleep unless I do a full scan?
  16. Greetings. Yesterday just before going to sleep i was surprised with a strange Pop-up from Kaspersky, it said my antivirus wasn't activated and that my protection was disabled. It was odd since my signature will last until october. A quick look made me realize that after a update, the antivirus just expelled my activation key and downgraded back to Kaspersky Free. I entered my account and had to manually disconnect my computer so i could install once again in the same computer. I'm wondering if this will be a recurring problem, because most of the time I ignore all the annoying pop-ups of Kaspersky, but luckily this time i paid attention since the colors had change from the ones i used to see. PS: Second problem, if you have time: How do i get hid of all the annoying pop-ups that Kaspersky seems to be throwing at me? I know about the configurations inside the program, but i only have the system ones activated, all the others about promotions and news are disabled, but i still get a lot of irritating pop-ups every now and then, even when I'm in fullscreen. I remember Kaspersky being all quiet in the computer back in the day, but now it seems that more and more irrelevant pop-ups are appearing on the screen.
  17. We have all been struggling with VPN and DNS issues after the recent update to Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection which involved integrating PureVPN into its services. After 8 days waiting for this issue to be resolved I can no longer justify spending any more time dealing with an unreliable and intermittent VPN, so have uninstalled it and paid for a month with another provider. As a Kaspersky loyalist who has used Kaspersky's products for nearly a decade, and never had any of my systems breached under Kaspersky's guardianship, I find having to uninstall their VPN immensely disappointing. For those of you still struggling with issues like intermittent VPN access, zero access or partial access to some sites (YouTube and Google Maps among others in my case) and your DNS malfunctioning, in my view this cannot be solved at the users end as it is an issue Kaspersky's integration of PureVPN's servers into it's security architecture. * IT IS TIME FOR KASPERSKY LAB TO RESPOND I am formally requesting that an OFFICIAL UPDATE from Kaspersky Lab is sent to all users of Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection via email to clarify the nature of the remaining issues and when they can be expected to be solved. In my view 8 days of a virtually unusable VPN is a serious enough failure to maintain an internet security component that a FULL ROLLBACK of the update needs to be considered until the developers find a 100 percent functional and permanent solution to the issue. In the meantime, having reluctantly uninstalled Kaspersky VPN, I can now get on with my work with a 100 percent reliable VPN. For the reader, let me know what you think, or if you have come across any solution that works for you. * Once Kaspersky Lab issues a statement on the issue as requested above I will download and test Kaserpsky VPN Secure Connection again, because, as I say, I am a Kasperksy loyalist and still believe their security suite is the Gold Standard in internet security.
  18. Probably a silly question. I have Kaspersky Plus running on my Windows 7 SP1 machine. Last restart was sometime last week. I restarted it just now (Sat evening) and saw the Windows alert to not unplug the machine because Windows was installing an update. Same when it started, the warning about configuring the update. All updates are turned off in Windows Control Panel, still are after this happened, and have been for a time frame measuring in years, I manually installed a few things as needed to run Kaspersky and Nord VPN, so the only program with permission to do this (and presumably, a reason) to mess with Windows Updates would be Kaspersky, I'm not running any trial modes of other security software. I have very little other software on here, Foxit, VideoLAN and Audacity (only used when offline). Nord has stopped doing its own program updates for W7 as well. Before I uninstall it and dig further, can anyone verify whether this was actually Kaspersky? It seems bizarre. I truly never thought I'd see that screen again on shutdown...
  19. Kaspersky's latest statement is here: https://support.kaspersky.com/faq/ksec-migration It contains download links for another update for all devices and and subscription types. So its important to try that, and if the situation hasn't improved either lodge or update a support ticket, this will help Kaspersky further diagnose the issues and how widespread they are. The absence of any contribution or explanation by this forum's moderators on many of the threads concerning this issue is telling. It may indicate that a strict "no comment" directive from legal and PR has been applied to what can be described as follows: "A Severity 1 (SEV-1) incident: a global service degradation lasting more than 4 hours , triggering company-wide emergency protocols." Normally an outage affecting connectivity for a majority of users would be expected to be resolved within 24-48 hours. Just how widespread this is issue is unknown but given that the update applies to all platforms and subscription types it is likely to be extensive, and silence can be a form of damage control. There must be a fundamental incompatibility between Kaspersky's software and PureVPN's infrastructure that requires a major re-engineering effort to fix. Temporary use of one of the many free VPNs is a good option to have a break from the stress of dealing with this. I wish I could be of more help, just know that you are definitely not alone.

Sent a support ticket 6 days ago and received 2 replies only, both asking me for logs, system info and many things that are obviously not related to the problem, are the customer support people not told that the issue is your service and not my completely unrelated 4 devices all on different versions of the app and now updated to equally useless latest versions? It's fairly straightforward that whatever update was done, was done incorrectly or to extremely low quality servers and now doesn't work. I asked for a partial refund at the very least because I paid for a service and I got an application that has to stay turned off and no service but "I'm out of the 30-day period" so I can't even get my money back after years of paying for this service. I don't see any updates anywhere and this was after the atrocious changes announced at the end of November, "update to the latest version" does nothing, I've been on the last 3 "latest" versions and the debug version, unable to refresh gmail or get a whatsapp message, even play a youtube video on a computer. For all the people who will rightfully cancel the service, you should at least post an update explaining that the service doesn't work or instruct your customer service to be honest instead of saying that updating the application will magically fix the bad service provided.

  22. In certain cases, ‘Install updates and fix vulnerabilities’ task might fail with some error. Below example contains ‘Error verifying file signature’ error but you may use mentioned keywords and overall approach for investigation of other errors met while running ‘Install updates and fix vulnerabilities’ task. Here are some steps to investigate such problems: First of all view list of updates aimed at installation on client. For this purpose in network agent trace file search for ‘Update to install:’ without quotes. You will get results similar to: etc. Some of found updates are skipped by filters so pay attention to skipped updates and to overall number of updates that should be installed. Some updates might already be downloaded to the target system so at the second step identify which update files are already downloaded and which should be downloaded. In network agent trace file search for ‘is already downloaded’ and ‘needs to be downloaded’ without quotes. In our sample traces results are: Match code of update which needs to be downloaded (79ae03df-d6eb-4de2-b59f-37e963d7a69e) with results detected at step 1 and you will see that KB907417 needs to be downloaded. Open MS Update catalog and search for KB907417. In search results click ‘Download’ button and observe window with results: Name of archive containing required update KB907417 is: otkloadr_c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab Search for c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab in WindowsUpdate.log from client machine. Pay attention to the found lines: Search for otkloadr_c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab in administration server trace file to find URL used by administration server to download required update from MS servers: Now once we know the name of problem update you may offer the customer to temporarily exclude KB907417 from update installation task to let other updates to be installed. Then proceed with investigation. On Administration server use web browser to download problem update from the link identified at step 6 and make sure that its signature is valid. It should look like on below screenshots In case if Digital Signatures tab is not present in properties of this file or signature is invalid then try to re-download with disabled AV solution. If this does not help then make sure that no proxy/firewall affect this issue. Verify that MS certificates are up to date on KSC server. In MMC console / Software updates node right click on KB907417 and ‘Delete update files’. Try to launch updates installation task again. On client machine use web browser to download problem update using link identified at step 5. Verify its signature and proceed same way as in step 8. Additionally compare downloaded file with C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\48ec39650764ea7a46ebe67ecf3b6f47\OTKLOADR.CAB. Verify diginal signature of OTKLOADR.CAB You may use signtool.exe to verify signature of .cab files on server and client: signtool.exe verify /pa otkloadr_c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab The utility signtool.exe goes as part of Windows SDK. It is available at C:\<Path to Windows SDK>\<version>\bin\<build number>\x64\signtool.exe In case if digital signature appears to be correct then use standard recommendations for resetting WUA: net stop wuauserv net stop cryptSvc net stop bits net stop msiserver Rename folders Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat" net start wuauserv net start cryptSvc net start bits net start msiserver After resetting WUA launch ‘Find updates and critical vulnerabilities’ task. It might fail several times because WUA cache was cleared. So after getting error just re-launch task again. Once 'find updates' task completes successfully launch task to install updates and fix vulnerabilities (problem update should be included in task scope this time). Observe the results.
  23. Hello , Since the last update ( November ) of Kaspersky VPN where most of the region were greyed / not supported anymore , my VPN started to act weirdly. I have actually Kaspersky Premium ( 1 device / 1 year ) so I have unlimited VPN , so here are my problems : - VPN keeps disconnecting for no reason , no matter the country because I tried several different ones and the issue is still the same . - Each time the VPN tries to reconnect , it keeps creating a new Local Area Connection (WG Nt Adapter) , now it's the 73rd time it has created a new Local Area Connection. - The VPN interface is slow to react when I turn off the VPN the grey switch slider thing takes like 5 sec to turn off or sometimes I have to minimize the interface for it to be effective. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Thanks.
  24. Hallo zusammen, Heute mal die neue Kaspersky MR21 installiert. Nach dem Geräte Neu start war die Kaspersky verschwunden und tauchte nicht mehr Automatisch auf, weder in der Taskleiste noch im Desktop fehlte Sie. Abhilfe; Kaspersky unter Programmen suchen und anklicken die fragen wo gestellt werden mit Ja oder Nein beantworten und siehe da startet die Kaspersky endlich wieder. Betriebsystem Win11 24H2 (Build 26100.3775) Kaspersky Plus [21.21.7.384.0.15.0] Möglicherweise hilft dass jemanden in gleicher Lage.

I have been running Kaspersky Endpoint 11.4.0 for Linux on Linux Mint 22.1 and have been telling Kaspersky for two years that they should package their Endpoint for Linux for home users - and after downloading the Kaspersky for Linux install kit and installing it have to say that it looks like that is what they have done. Installation looks almost the same and module names are the same. Not yet having a license I don't know what the Kaspersky for Linux GUI looks like. I attached a picture of the Endpoint window so perhaps someone can say if it's similar. Kaspersky support in late December told me that Kaspersky for Linux is available in the following countries: Australia South Africa Hong Kong Philippines Singapore Azerbaijan Kazakhstan Belarus If you are interested in Kaspersky Endpoint for Linux a license can be purchased from Laptops with Linux in the EU. I don't have the Kaspersky Endpoint kit download links at hand right now to post. [Found it: here] Since I do not live in the EU in order to activate it I had to VPN into the EU - after activation no problem as long as it can access the Kaspersky update servers.
