I'm having a lot of troubles when using Kaspersky Endpoint Security 12 with Google Meet: after some minutes of heavy use, the wifi goes down, and I cannot find any wifi SSIDs anymore, this is solved with a full restart, or disabling the device, and enabling again, on device manager. This problem is completely gone after uninstalling Kaspersky. I have several other laptops of this same model and all of them have this problem with Kaspersky. - Kaspersky Endpoint Security 12.12 (latest updates applied) - ThinkPad E14 Gen3, with Ryzen 3 5300U - Realtek RTL8852AE (Tried latest driver version, older versions, all have the same issue) - Windows 11 25H2, latest update applied If someone has a hint of how to solve this issue (other than completely disabling Kaspersky network security) I would appreciate. Hi: Many thanks for the answer. So sorry I didn't get back to you when I should have. I've been mostly bedridden for a while now and never seem to have enough "up" time to get around to everything that needs doing. The second time I got up after the answer I was determined to get this done, but saw that it was already done so there must have been some automatic component to the update. Either that, or Caspar had visited while I slept. But thank you very much for giving me a solution so quickly.

Hallo @scope, es ist noch immer der Downloader für die MR25 mit Patch "A". Patch "B" wird mit dem ersten Update nachinstalliert. Startet man den Installationvorgang, wird nach einer neueren Version gesucht - aber keine gefunden. MR25 ist aktuell.

Hallo zusammen, ich schaue immer mal wieder, ob es die nächste Kaspersky Version zum Download gibt, da ich es lieber manuell installiere wie auf das automatische Update zu warten. Vom Release Zyklus her müsste ja im Juli vermutlich die MR26 kommen? Nun habe ich gesehen, dass sich der Name der Download Datei zu der vom Release MR25 geändert hat, die man aktuell auf der Kaspersky Seite bekommt. https://www.kaspersky.de/downloads/standard Handelt es sich dabei schon um den Installer der MR26 und kommt es tatsächlich im Juli? und wann ungefähr? In den Eigenschaften der Datei steht zumindest noch etwas von Version 21.25.x? Nur wieso gibt es dann einen neuen Installer? Danke im Voraus für die Hilfe. Gruß scope

In November 2025, seven months ago - Kaspersky began migrating it's vpn infrastructure to a new VPN provider - there's been teething issues with the transition - by now, ioo those should have been resolved, especially with all the alleged oversight by the 'collaborators'. Update. As of today, the support case has not been resolved. Furthermore, I now see different location services provide different info. The MaxMind.com site they (K-support) insist using seems doing better, but others e.g. whatismyip.com are completely out of whack. The trouble is, if it's wrong in one service, whatever I'm trying to connect to might be using exactly same way to detect IP and I get the boot. Again, I don't recall this issue last year.

The application visualizes this data across multiple granularities: yearly (monthly breakdowns), monthly (daily), weekly ( still daily) and daily (hourly). Even if we assume only 50 processes are being tracked, that equates to a baseline of at least 100 data points (read and write entries) per day. When factoring in the hourly logging for the daily view, we are looking at an additional 48 data points per day, minimum. While 4 bytes per data point scales to a negligible ~54 KB per year, my concern is absolutely not the total storage footprint, it is the write frequency and the potential constant disk I/O. Let me point this out before you say anything about the numbers below. I know that various programs can do significantly more than that. To test this, I am currently idling with no active internet-heavy processes. I will check the data written from Task Manager to see a baseline, then start a download via curl (to keep the internet use overhead minimum by not using a browser) and see the difference. If the percentage increase in disk writes is not a big deal, I'll assume it just keeps the data in memory and flushes it to the disk periodically or during a clean exit/shutdown. If not, then the frequent disk activity is a valid concern. I just finished testing this and measured the disk write differences across 4 stages. Tests are 5 minutes long. Here are the results. No UI (Kaspersky is on the system tray) + No apparent internet use: 573 kB No UI + Yes Internet: 549 kB Yes UI + No Internet: 1274 kB Yes UI + Yes Internet: 3315 kB With just one test per case, I don't think we can call it 100% conclusive. But since I kept an eye on Task Manager the whole time and made sure no background tasks like Windows Update interfered, I still think there should be an option to disable it. Can't it monitor the ports without keeping speed and data records? Do you think it's hard to implement? Speaking of features, it just occurred to me. Isn't there a dark mode feature on the forum?

Hi all: Running Win 10 Home, 22H2 Have Kaspersky Total Security but despite following what directions I could, I cannot find the version number. I have been getting notices for a couple weeks now that My KTS wasn't updating - It's set to auto update. When I go and try to run the updated manually, it just shows as Failed. I've questioned the KB, but nothing, Tried nosing around myself to see if anything was mentioned anywhere, but nope. It's making me nervous not to have my full protection. Any hints or help would be greatly appreciated. TIA ~m

Question in title. I want to use both Kaspersky AND Windows Defender, but the problem is the only way to turn on Defender is to de-register Kaspersky from WSC. With Malwarebytes, this can be done simply by changing its settings. With Kaspersky, it's a lot more complicated. Messing with gpedit doesn't work. Removing Kaspersky's WMI entry doesn't work, it just readds itself, even if self-protection is disabled. I tried every Powershell command the Internet suggested, but nothing worked. Anything else I can try or do I have to wait for a future update to do this? (Win11, 26200.8737)

+ Update I enabled traces and tried to find if I could find something. I could see below from logs, ERR lic.conv Unknown saas tier:0 ERR FacadeImpl::CheckActiveLicenseApplicability check failed: 0xa04c002a Unknown saas tier:0 - I am not able to find information about this. I am not sure if I could reachout to Kaspersky support, as there is a process with them is time consuming and they never troubleshoot online or over a remote session. - Thank you for your assistance.

+ Update I had same issue with another KSC server, but the license there is NFR and added a task to add key which took very long time, but the license as been applied. If there are anyone from Kaspersky, could you tell me that if this is something in place to avoid people using trail license on expired licenses, so I wouldn't try anything and would build a new KSC. - Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Jein. 😉 Wenn es keine neuen Daten gibt, werden keine heruntergeladen und die Uhrzeit des letzten Updates mit neuen Daten wird angezeigt. edit: Ich habe den vorletzten Beitrag übersehen: Also: Ja, das ist etwas zu lange. Einmal am Tag sollte ein Update kommen. Klick mal auf die Berichte zum Update. Bei der Standard -> Zeitleiste -> Alle anzeigen.

Hallo @Blacklandy, das sollte nicht so sein. Wenn das Update auf "automatisch" eingestellt ist, müsste es 15 Minuten nach dem Hochfahren des Rechners starten.
