  1. Im extremely pissed with this new update. Im forced to work from a very strict public wifi, which blocked many ports. With this VPN I used to have a fast and reliable connection to work with, now I can NOT even CONNECT to the VPN anymore because they removed the ability to select the protocols. The product is literally no longer usable for me after the update. This update has to be illegal.
  2. SAME HERE, IT'S NOT WORKING FOR ALMOST 2 DAYS SINCE THE NEW UPDATE. I ACCCEPTED THE NEW TERMS AND THE MIGRATIONS WHICH WAS UNCLEAR EXPLAINED.

I thought I'm alone very disappointed, very angry, what this stupid update, I was happy with the old version now what no gaming server no choice to chose protocols it's even not working since yesterday i lost 10 hours to fix the stupidity of someone and still on it, how much stupid can you get, ask the one made this very much more so stupid update. I don't even think the kaspersky customer care service care for our feedback but i must say it for the records, For years i had been a customer to kaspersky vpn and security if the issue is not resolved, it's a Sayonara.

  5. Hello @saleem mq, Welcome! Recently Kaspersky has undergone a update of the VPN infrastructure. All VPN users will see a new agreement in the app which they need to accept. The number of available VPN servers will change from ~105 to ~85, most common servers will remain. The router feature, protocol selection and dual VPN options will no longer be available. Kaspersky are continuing to expand coverage and add new features in upcoming updates. IF (your) VPN application, on any device is not working, please follow the guide on the support site, shown here, IF that does not work, please log a support request with Kaspersky Customer Service: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts -> select Email, fill in the template as shown, please provide a *detailed-history* & please do not select the AI-Bot to submit the request Please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?   6. Like others I have spent hours on this issue, as a working VPN is critical to my security posture, and like others (User23837) I have found no solution because there IS NO solution. This is a problem with the updated VPN itself, not the configuration of our systems. I filed a support ticket after 3 days and the day after that the VPN just randomly started working again without any change of state to my systems PROVING that no amount of tinkering by the user will ever solve this problem. I then received the email from Kaspersky (below). And cancelled my support ticket. A few hours later the problems reappeared. It is up to Kaspersky to either promptly fix this issue for ALL users or make the difficult decision to ROLL BACK the update to provide a reliable and stable VPN service for all users until the developers can work out where they went wrong. And this comes from an absolute Kaspersky loyalist having used their software for nearly a decade without a single breach of my systems security. This affair now significantly increases the potential for such a breach. "We are currently performing technical maintenance that may temporarily affect VPN performance. Some users may notice reduced speed, difficulty accessing certain locations, the app switching to Free mode instead of an active subscription, or short periods of service unavailability. We’re already working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible." - Kaspersky

  8. No, because i want this to be wherever i am, not just at home. At least before the update, there were some servers that had consistent IP addresses. So static IP wasn't really necessary. I can't find such server in the new update
  9. Kaspersky support informed me otherwise, stating that a version update will be released soon to address this issue.
  10. I have the same issue. Kaspersky VPN was working fine for me in Russia for almost a year, but after the new license agreement and the update, my connection completely stopped working: Many countries disappeared No server connects anymore “Fastest server” connects but there is no internet YouTube and other sites don’t load Reinstalling and changing DNS didn’t help Same problem on WiFi, mobile hotspot, and on my phone directly It looks like my non-Russian license was also migrated to the new PureVPN infrastructure, and this backend seems to be fully blocked by Russian ISPs. If support gives you a working solution, please share it here.
  11. This is honestly the worst update I’ve ever seen. The removal of essential features, such as the router feature, protocol selection, and dual VPN, has significantly reduced the functionality and flexibility that made this VPN worth using in the first place. On top of that, reducing the number of available servers and introducing a new data-processing agreement tied to PureVPN raises serious concerns for me. Please bring back the previous version or restore the features that were removed. The “new infrastructure” may meet internal standards, but from a user perspective, this update feels like a major downgrade. If this direction continues, you will likely lose long-time customers who relied on the tools and privacy options that you’ve now taken away.

  13. Thanks for the update. Interesting to know that Kaspersky won't be pushing out a fix. I have two different medium-size clients (50-100 endpoints each) using Kaspersky, and there have been a total of five affected sites between them. Four of the five affected portals are financial services / HR / payroll companies, and only one something else that uses "serious" authentication. Hope the number also remains low for you. Please read: https://forum.kaspersky.com/topic/after-update-lost-some-servers-and-double-vpn-57341/#findComment-221765 As (you're) both aware there's been a VPN infrastructure change, there's an advisory on Kaspersky's support website: even tho (your) problems are not the same, the action (you) both need to take is: Follow the advisory on the support website = download & install the *new* version, IF it does not fix the problem proceed to 2. Log a support request with Kaspersky Customer Service: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts -> select Email, fill in the template as shown, please provide a *detailed-history* & please do not select the AI-Bot to submit the request.   16. After the current policy update, i can still turn the vpn on, but cannot access to any site with it. Yesterday everything was still normal. I was wondering is it because im in Russia rn?

IF that's the case *all* of the Kaspersky documentation requires a *serious-update* & Kaspersky Customer Service, level one support, chat support & web email support need to be brought up to speed so they don't impose upon subscribers for ridiculous amounts of data for fruitless *troubleshooting* when the ball is & always has been in Kaspersky's court.   21. After a forced update of kaspersky VPN, I lost the double VPN tab. Now I can't use double VPN anymore. What does it mean ??? Location: Czech Republic version 21.23.6.614-2 (a) os Microsoft Windows 7 x64 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
  22. Sorry about that. OS: Windows 11 Home edition, Macos Sequoia 15.7.2 and IOS 18.6.2 This is transversal to these OS's. The Kaspersky VPN version is the latest, I was forced to update because everything stopped working as it should. My Kaspersky app just changed its behaviour and I suddenly lost some servers (that I usually use), I had a new Eula, and lost the double VPN option, (which I also usually use). I was informed in the new Eula that there is new conditions about how my data is processed. This is not what I've paid for, as apparently Kaspersky silently changed the terms of the subscription and lower the security framework of the vpn service removing the double vpn option.
  23. After a forced update of kaspersky VPN, the list of servers reduced from 100 to 86 and I lost the double VPN tab. Now I can't use double VPN anymore. Anyone have any idea why?
  24. Please note product is updated gradually according region etc... So other people can have new version sooner like you.. In older version was choice keep current version or update new. Now it is automatic. Maybe you can disable automatic update (i didnt tried) but you can if you want really stay on older build. In Taskmanager is Kaspersky upgrade launcher which run everyday (at logon user). Try disable it. Or simply block upgrade.exe in program files by firewall.

Yeah Kaspersky VPN update has DNS issues. its definitely how they configured it, i've been having the same problems on mobile as i do for PC.. its been like a month now since I update and still have these problems. I already opened a Kaspersky VPN PC ticket. I hope they do better QA testing in the future for the scenarios like the ones you mentioned and for sites like youtube (actually playing videos for longer then 30 seconds etc...). I hope the devs read the forums 🫠
