  2. Hallo zusammen, Heute mal die neue Kaspersky MR21 installiert. Nach dem Geräte Neu start war die Kaspersky verschwunden und tauchte nicht mehr Automatisch auf, weder in der Taskleiste noch im Desktop fehlte Sie. Abhilfe; Kaspersky unter Programmen suchen und anklicken die fragen wo gestellt werden mit Ja oder Nein beantworten und siehe da startet die Kaspersky endlich wieder. Betriebsystem Win11 24H2 (Build 26100.3775) Kaspersky Plus [21.21.7.384.0.15.0] Möglicherweise hilft dass jemanden in gleicher Lage.
  3. Hi @amralaa, As *Moderator* @harlan4096 already advised - you have the most up-to-date Kaspersky Free version & yes, ATM it's still supported. (You) are one of the lucky ones! Kaspersky *stopped* Kaspersky Free in many *other* countries. Don't ask when will it STOP OR will it STOP (in Egypt) - none of us know - Kaspersky never announces that type of information. ENJOY it while (you) have it! It's WORKING! STOP panicking! IF (you) want to see it updating & don't want to open the application - on the Windows Taskbar, select Hidden icons, the Kaspersky icon will show a tiny-down-arrow IF there's a Database-update updating.   5. In certain cases, ‘Install updates and fix vulnerabilities’ task might fail with some error. Below example contains ‘Error verifying file signature’ error but you may use mentioned keywords and overall approach for investigation of other errors met while running ‘Install updates and fix vulnerabilities’ task. Here are some steps to investigate such problems: First of all view list of updates aimed at installation on client. For this purpose in network agent trace file search for ‘Update to install:’ without quotes. You will get results similar to: etc. Some of found updates are skipped by filters so pay attention to skipped updates and to overall number of updates that should be installed. Some updates might already be downloaded to the target system so at the second step identify which update files are already downloaded and which should be downloaded. In network agent trace file search for ‘is already downloaded’ and ‘needs to be downloaded’ without quotes. In our sample traces results are: Match code of update which needs to be downloaded (79ae03df-d6eb-4de2-b59f-37e963d7a69e) with results detected at step 1 and you will see that KB907417 needs to be downloaded. Open MS Update catalog and search for KB907417. In search results click ‘Download’ button and observe window with results: Name of archive containing required update KB907417 is: otkloadr_c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab Search for c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab in WindowsUpdate.log from client machine. Pay attention to the found lines: Search for otkloadr_c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab in administration server trace file to find URL used by administration server to download required update from MS servers: Now once we know the name of problem update you may offer the customer to temporarily exclude KB907417 from update installation task to let other updates to be installed. Then proceed with investigation. On Administration server use web browser to download problem update from the link identified at step 6 and make sure that its signature is valid. It should look like on below screenshots In case if Digital Signatures tab is not present in properties of this file or signature is invalid then try to re-download with disabled AV solution. If this does not help then make sure that no proxy/firewall affect this issue. Verify that MS certificates are up to date on KSC server. In MMC console / Software updates node right click on KB907417 and ‘Delete update files’. Try to launch updates installation task again. On client machine use web browser to download problem update using link identified at step 5. Verify its signature and proceed same way as in step 8. Additionally compare downloaded file with C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\48ec39650764ea7a46ebe67ecf3b6f47\OTKLOADR.CAB. Verify diginal signature of OTKLOADR.CAB You may use signtool.exe to verify signature of .cab files on server and client: signtool.exe verify /pa otkloadr_c87e2fe94dd873224afa65e2af2473ca3e307a37.cab The utility signtool.exe goes as part of Windows SDK. It is available at C:\<Path to Windows SDK>\<version>\bin\<build number>\x64\signtool.exe In case if digital signature appears to be correct then use standard recommendations for resetting WUA: net stop wuauserv net stop cryptSvc net stop bits net stop msiserver Rename folders Del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat" net start wuauserv net start cryptSvc net start bits net start msiserver After resetting WUA launch ‘Find updates and critical vulnerabilities’ task. It might fail several times because WUA cache was cleared. So after getting error just re-launch task again. Once 'find updates' task completes successfully launch task to install updates and fix vulnerabilities (problem update should be included in task scope this time). Observe the results.

Please try this : Disable (Uninstall) Kaspersky Plus Go to https://my.kaspersky.com/MyLicenses#/portal/pages/licenses → Kaspersky Plus → Download After download , the on top installation will start automatically. Wen the installation is completed → update Databases Reboot (Shutdown)

If you open KSC -> Advanced -> Application management -> Software Updates, there is a column Not assigned for installation (new version). Some computers may have this status or Not assigned for installation status. What does it mean? Installation status Not assigned for installation means that the update is applicable for this host (as a minor upgrade), but there is no patch management tasks for this host having an appropriate rule to install this update (update doesn't match any rule in any patch management task for this host). Column Not assigned for installation means number of computers having installation status Not assigned for installation. Installation status Not assigned for installation (new version) means that the update is applicable for this host (as a major upgrade - new version), but there is no patch management tasks for this host having an appropriate rule to install this update (update doesn't match any rule in any patch management task for this host). Column Not assigned for installation (new version) means number of computers having installation status Not assigned for installation (new version). Some computers have in Installation status Not assigned for installation. Should anything be done? Yes. Such updates should be analyzed, and if they should be installed, the administrator should decide, why it should be installed, and why it is not yes assigned for installation by any patch management task. if there is no patch management task at all, it must be created, etc. if this update should be installed because it fixes a vulnerability, then probably existing patch management tasks should have a rule to install all patches which fix vulnerabilities having certain vulnerability rating (such rule to install all updates fixing Critical vulnerabilities is created in default patch management task); if existing patch management task have a rule to install all manually approved updates (such rule is also created by default in default patch management task), then this update should be approved by administrator (the update approval state should be changed to Approved); if this update is a MS update of types Critical Update or Security Update, then it should also be installed by default and such rule should be created for a task (such rule is also created by default in the default patch management task by QSW); if you want to install, e.g., all patches for Java, or all updates published by "Adobe", appropriate rules also can be created, etc; by default, major updates (which increase major version) are not installed automatically; if you want to install major upgrades as well, the appropriate option should be set in the task properties; if major upgrades should be allowed for certain rules only (e.g., for Java updates or critical vulnerabilities fixes only), an additional patch management task should be created with appropriate rules and the option should to install major upgrades should be set for this task; the most inefficient way is to add certain updates to a rule with a direct list of updates to be installed; in certain test or emergency cases for small amount of updates such way can also be used, but in general it's better to use categorial rules (like mentioned above), and in case of updates not matching any common rules use the "approvement" mechanism (when having the default rule to install all "approved" updates). How to update all of the software in Software Updates for the clients? In this rare case a patch management task in the root administration group should exist, and it should have a rule allowing to install any applicable updates (except having "denied" approval state).

  9. Witzig dabei ist nur, dass ich schon mehrfach in der Vergangenheit (einige Monate her)eine Benachrichtigung direkt aus der Kaspersky App erhalten hab, das ein Update vorliegt. Dieses Update wurde dann auch – per APK Datei – einwandfrei installiert.

  12. Update zu meinem Problem. Zum einen habe ich mein aktuelles Kaspersky deinstalliert und auf Anweisung die App über die Webseite aus der Support Nachricht aktualisiert. Weiter habe ich die Nachrichten Übermittlung in der App angepasst. Nun stehe ich bei max 2% Akku Verbrauch. Beobachte das nun seit einigen Tagen. Bis dato ist alles im Grünen Bereich. Grüße

    Cannot remove KSK from Andriod devices

    Just to add to this after some more checking and testing and no answer from Support again.The app is not blocking anything - not websites, not games or any installs at all. I have updated to the latest OS update and downloaded and tried to re-install it using the download APK file. Nothing changes. Renamed the device and deleted the kid's profile and the device from the console portal. Somehow it is not communicating with the KSK server I guess because it is not appearing in the portal.

  17. We have all been struggling with VPN and DNS issues after the recent update to Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection which involved integrating PureVPN into its services. After 8 days waiting for this issue to be resolved I can no longer justify spending any more time dealing with an unreliable and intermittent VPN, so have uninstalled it and paid for a month with another provider. As a Kaspersky loyalist who has used Kaspersky's products for nearly a decade, and never had any of my systems breached under Kaspersky's guardianship, I find having to uninstall their VPN immensely disappointing. For those of you still struggling with issues like intermittent VPN access, zero access or partial access to some sites (YouTube and Google Maps among others in my case) and your DNS malfunctioning, in my view this cannot be solved at the users end as it is an issue Kaspersky's integration of PureVPN's servers into it's security architecture. * IT IS TIME FOR KASPERSKY LAB TO RESPOND I am formally requesting that an OFFICIAL UPDATE from Kaspersky Lab is sent to all users of Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection via email to clarify the nature of the remaining issues and when they can be expected to be solved. In my view 8 days of a virtually unusable VPN is a serious enough failure to maintain an internet security component that a FULL ROLLBACK of the update needs to be considered until the developers find a 100 percent functional and permanent solution to the issue. In the meantime, having reluctantly uninstalled Kaspersky VPN, I can now get on with my work with a 100 percent reliable VPN. For the reader, let me know what you think, or if you have come across any solution that works for you. * Once Kaspersky Lab issues a statement on the issue as requested above I will download and test Kaserpsky VPN Secure Connection again, because, as I say, I am a Kasperksy loyalist and still believe their security suite is the Gold Standard in internet security.

So its important to try that, and if the situation hasn't improved either lodge or update a support ticket, this will help Kaspersky further diagnose the issues and how widespread they are. The absence of any contribution or explanation by this forum's moderators on many of the threads concerning this issue is telling. It may indicate that a strict "no comment" directive from legal and PR has been applied to what can be described as follows: "A Severity 1 (SEV-1) incident: a global service degradation lasting more than 4 hours , triggering company-wide emergency protocols." Normally an outage affecting connectivity for a majority of users would be expected to be resolved within 24-48 hours. Just how widespread this is issue is unknown but given that the update applies to all platforms and subscription types it is likely to be extensive, and silence can be a form of damage control. There must be a fundamental incompatibility between Kaspersky's software and PureVPN's infrastructure that requires a major re-engineering effort to fix. Temporary use of one of the many free VPNs is a good option to have a break from the stress of dealing with this. I wish I could be of more help, just know that you are definitely not alone.

Sent a support ticket 6 days ago and received 2 replies only, both asking me for logs, system info and many things that are obviously not related to the problem, are the customer support people not told that the issue is your service and not my completely unrelated 4 devices all on different versions of the app and now updated to equally useless latest versions? It's fairly straightforward that whatever update was done, was done incorrectly or to extremely low quality servers and now doesn't work. I asked for a partial refund at the very least because I paid for a service and I got an application that has to stay turned off and no service but "I'm out of the 30-day period" so I can't even get my money back after years of paying for this service. I don't see any updates anywhere and this was after the atrocious changes announced at the end of November, "update to the latest version" does nothing, I've been on the last 3 "latest" versions and the debug version, unable to refresh gmail or get a whatsapp message, even play a youtube video on a computer. For all the people who will rightfully cancel the service, you should at least post an update explaining that the service doesn't work or instruct your customer service to be honest instead of saying that updating the application will magically fix the bad service provided.
  20. Hello, Thank you for the response. The issue is related to Kaspersky Antivirus for Android, not the VPN application. I will update to the latest available version and monitor whether the issue persists. If it continues, I will submit a detailed report to Kaspersky Customer Service including an AIDA64 report, and share the outcome with the community.

    Having issues with VPN

    Hi nonanche9200, Please understand that this is a problem at Kaspersky's end caused entirely by an external service migration i.e the integration of PureVPN's services into Kaspersky VPN's architecture. No amount of tinkering with your systems configuration will fix the issue as there is likely nothing wrong with you system's configuration. You should have received a notification about this via email, but if not I have pasted it below for you. The only thing to do is to return your configuration settings back to where they were and ... wait. It has been 7 days for me now, but it is better each day. You may wish to lodge a support ticket as this will give Kaspersky information on how widespread the issue is and what kind of problems are most common amongst users. * The error message you posted: "error ID 4311 NetBt it says : "Initialization failed because the device driver could not be created." is a Windows message about its native networking component (NetBT) failing to initialize because of a virtual network adapter that is being created and destroyed repeatedly. This is almost certainly the Kaspersky VPN WG Nt Adapter getting stuck in a loop creating a virtual adapter, failing, aborting, and repeating and perhaps failing to clean up perfectly, leaving ghost entries or creating new ones each time. This is why you have 173 (or more now) new Local Area Connection connections. Again there is nothing wrong at your end and you can't fix it, it would be like taking your car to a mechanic because a major road has been blocked by an earth slide. * The 256 DNS errors you've had in the last 24 hours are also related to the Kaspersky VPN issues, you can't change this either. Open a command prompt and type in: ping 1.1.1.1 <Enter> and ping 8.8.8.8 <Enter> You should get normal round trip times of around 10 to 80 ms or so. This will show there is nothing wrong with your DNS settings or the Cloudfare and Google DNS servers. I hope this helps. We're on 12.11.0.637 right now It seems like some computers are fixing themselves without having to do anything, while others are suddenly experiencing this issue out of the blue despite working since the update. So now I am not sure what is causing this. One computer that I had previously reinstalled suddenly starting having it again, then after a few restarts it fixed itself. There needs to be a quick way to fix this because users can't be carrying on while their AV is not running correctly. Shouldn't it try to restart protection on it's own?
