Hello @Sergi, Welcome! (your) topic is in Kaspersky Total Security section, which Kaspersky software *name* has been updated? Kaspersky Total Security is Kaspersky's *old* software, it's been replaced by Kaspersky Plus, Kaspersky is offering a *Free-like-for-like* upgrade: READ: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ Download is available here: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product it's (yr) choice whether OR not to install / update a new version over the top OR do a clean install, IF doing a clean install - save LICENSE information only, after installing the new software - run a Database update followed by a shutdown & power-on of the computer - login & monitor for the original problem? IF it repeats log the issue with Kaspersky Customer Service (KCS): https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts, select Email, fill in the template as shown, provide a *detailed-history* *Do NOT use the AI-BOT to submit the incident* Please share the outcome with the Community when it's available? Flood and Flood's wife replied to affatube's topic in Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium
Hello @Zork, Welcome! Absolutely positive - IF that's not happening with (your) installation something has gone amiss & needs to be managed manually to rectify & get back to *normal*: Hack - what do you mean? It's housekeeping. Disable Self-Defense in the Kaspersky product, then exit Kaspersky product and delete the files. Then shutdown the computer using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, power ON by pressing the Start-button, login, check if the issue is resolved OR run the computer in SAFE-MODE & delete the files, then shutdown the computer using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, power ON by pressing the Start-button, login, check if the issue is resolved? ALSO - which version of Kaspersky is *actually* installed? IF it's 21.3 it's outdated!! In Windows Taskbar *Hidden-icons*, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About? Kaspersky is up to 21.24 - which is what should be installed - IF (yr) software requires updating, use: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product - it's (yr) choice whether OR not to install / update a new version over the top OR do a clean install, IF doing a clean install - save LICENSE information only, after installing the new software - run a Database update followed by a shutdown & power-on of the computer - login & monitor for the original problem? IF it repeats log the issue with Kaspersky Customer Service (KCS): https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts, select Email, fill in the template as shown, provide a *detailed-history* -> select (yr) Kaspersky software from the drop-down-list (A) *Do NOT use the AI-BOT to submit the incident* Please share the outcome with the Community when it's available? Cannot change email in My Kaspersky account ?
Basamaca replied to Basamaca's topic in Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium
I filled the template exactly like in your step 6 and still without success. I have never seen yet a software vendor which prevents users from receiving support. The message I wanted to send via that web template is quite simple: "I tried to update email of my account on My Kaspersky because I received a note from ISP that it is shutting down and hence email I entered on My Kaspersky will cease to exist. Therefore, I need to update current email to a Gmail address that will continue to be operational. When I tried that I got the message: "The specified email has already been taken". Anyway this experience is frustrating. I have no choice but to wait until subscription expires and then I will uninstall Kaspersky Plus and switch over to free Microsoft Defender. Could you please tell me what would happen if I delete My Kaspersky account. Would I loose the license? -
Kaspersky Standard ultima versione sarà ancora compatibile per il 2026 - 2027 in Windows 7 64bit?
neofita replied to neofita's topic in Utenti privati
Grazie e buona giornata. -
Problem KSC and KS4Android are implemented but KSC is offline and could not access Internet. KUU can be used for updating KS for Android and distribute the update databases. But after running KUU (Kaspersky Update Utility), you cannot find actual KES for Android versions. Solution AV bases for new KESM versions will appear in KUU UI after running KUU with empty application list. The KUU settings should look like the following (in order to update the list of supported applications, you need first to press 'Start' with a blank application list as follows):

Problem Description, Symptoms & Impact When deploying Auto patches from KSC, installing Network Agent or Kaspersky Endpoint Security, installation fails with bad junction errors. Diagnostics While Auto patch deployments over KSC will directly generate an event in Events section of KSC, manual Network Agent or KES installations will end with Fatal Error message and installation logs will contain information such as below: Application: Kaspersky Security Center Network Agent – Error 25002. Error while installing: Error 1205/0x0 (‘The system cannot find the path specified.’) accessing filesystem object ‘C:\ProgramData\Application Data\KasperskyLab\adminkit\data\.bases’. Error 25002. Error while installing: Error 1205/0x0 (‘The system cannot find the path specified.’) accessing filesystem object ‘C:\ProgramData\Application Data\KasperskyLab\adminkit\data\.bases’. A GSI collected from the device will also contain a txt file named Junction_ProgramData_PCNAME.txt which will show faulty junction points that prevent installation. GSI log: Junction Point Log with Junction: To find bad junction points manually, you check use the command below in CMD: dir /AL C:\ProgramData Workaround & Solution To remove the faulty link, you must follow the steps below: Open a CMD Prompt with elevated account Run the commands below (According to our example above, the fault junction point shows Z:\ drive) rem In order to delete the link, you must first access the directory. cd C:\Programdata rem Removing the link rd "Application Data" rem Recreating the link is not mandatory as the installation itself will create the link if not found mklink /J "C:\ProgramData\Application Data" C:\ProgramData These 3 commands can be used to create a batch file to be sent to multiple devices that are having the issue.

Issues encountered when configuring the update server
ymc posted a topic in Kaspersky Security Center
My company wants to avoid exposing data to the public internet, so we prefer to deploy the KSC server on the internal network. However, to obtain the latest updates, we plan to deploy another Kaspersky Update Utility server on the external network as an update server. I have enabled the FTP service on the external Kaspersky Update Utility server, with the shared folder set as "Updates folder," and FileZilla has verified it as accessible. In the internal KSC web console, I configured the task as shown in Figure 3 and set up the update source, but it still failed. Is it because some files were not downloaded in the Kaspersky Update Utility? Or is the FTP configuration incorrect? Or are there other issues? -
Consider the following scenario: Open update or scan KSWS task. Go to Schedule->Advanced→Task stop settings: Solution Task's stop settings are greyed out and cannot be changed. This is by design behaviour: Task stop settings can be changed only for real-time tasks - Real-Time File Protection and Script Monitoring. These tasks can be configured in KSWS policy to pause the execution at certain time not to interfere with 3d apps or speed up heavy operations. Task stop settings cannot be changed for Updater and On Demand Scan tasks. These tasks should be executed without pausing them.

VPN - Bypass local addresses?
Jeep16 replied to jamesie's topic in Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium
Almost a year later, so I asked for an update: "Regarding the issue with Split Tunneling, this is still being analyzed by our technical team. We will update your incident as soon as we have more information." -
Problem In some cases, it is possible to run a database upgrade task on the KSWS/KICS/KESS host, but despite the upgrade task successfully completing, the databases are still out of date. Solution Most probably product operates in UpdateBlackListOnly mode. This happens in cases when product is activated with activation code and is unable to reach our activation servers. Thus KSWS fails to receive/refresh activation ticket and downloads updates only for Blacklist. Possible ways to solve the problem: 1. Activate with a key file; 2. In case KSWS needs to be activated with the code make sure that either KSWS server is able to reach our public activation servers directly or set up KSC to act as activation proxy and make sure that KSWS server is able to reach KSC on TCP17000.

Hi, @Handoyo. I've had this exact problem before and found that there were two instances of the antivirus installed, causing a conflict. I imagine that a version update must have failed previously. Check your list of installed programs to see if the same issue is occurring. -
Issues encountered when configuring the update server
ymc posted a topic in Kaspersky Security Center
I want to configure a KSC as an update server on the external network and a KSC as a functional server on the internal network to distribute agents. After completing the initial setup, I found in the help documentation that I need to configure it in "General," but I couldn’t find the "General" section—where is it? Additionally, I've granted myself all roles, why are the "Infrastructure" and "Console Settings" options grayed out? Currently, the only account I can log in with is the local account using the local machine password—what are the passwords for the other accounts? -

Hello @Zork, Welcome back! K. Internet Security has been replaced by Kaspersky Standard. Do ONE machine at a time. (IF this were our machine/our problem) -> given the mess it appears to be in with files not clearing & old versions not being automatically updated - which actually explains the oversized file problem - we would *uninstall* K. Internet Security using Windows ADD & REMOVE programs - don't do anything fancy, stick to the basics - save LICENSE information only - at the end of the *uninstall* REBOOT the machine with a SHUTDOWN -> Then use: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads#update-product -> after installing the new software - run a Database update followed by a shutdown & power-on of the computer - login & monitor? Full scan / Quick scan stays at 1% (fixed)

Just wanted to post back that this resolved the issue I was having, apologies for the delayed reply, I had to use the system uninterrupted for a couple of day so wasn't able to troubleshoot until today and this update happened before I was able to test further, enabling memory testing on quick scan and background scans seem to be working as intended, I haven't had the chance to run a full scan as of yet but I don't imagine the result would be different. Thank you again all for your assistance everyone. -
Hi, here is the info required from the read first list: Step 1: Operating system and version info. O/S Version: Win 11 Pro v25H2 (OS Build 26200.8246) Step 2: App name and version info. App Name: Kaspersky Internet Security App Version: 21.3.10.391 (m) Step 3: Description of issue. Kaspersky in the system tray keeps disappearing and trying to open the app does nothing until the entire system is rebooted/restarted. Windows security page states "Kaspersky Internet Security is snoozed." Event viewer states "Updated Kaspersky Internet Security status successfully to SECURITY_PRODUCT_STATE_SNOOZED." from source SecurityCentre twice in a row with the same timestamps followed by "Offline downlevel migration succeeded." from source Security-SPP approx 15 and again 16 minutes later. The only information I've found in regard to this issue states its likely caused by Microsoft windows update and to just reinstall the app, I've done that, as a clean install with the removal tool twice now and the issue persists, restarting windows frequently is not really a solution to the problem. Any ideas where to start? Postscriptum: I should also say having exactly the same issue on a windows 11 laptop, only difference is that its win 11 home on the laptop, this situation is incredibly frustrating. -
Being snoozed with inability to recover until entire system reboot/restart.

Just wanted to post back that this resolved the issue I originally ran into, thanks again for the assistance, I did unfortunately run into other issues after the switch which I asked about in a separate thread here (https://forum.kaspersky.com/topic/full-scan-quick-scan-stays-at-1-fixed-58770/) but these have also been solved by a new update. -

@CK1good day, we have released a fix for the described issue. Please update databases in Kaspersky, exit Kaspersky product, start it again and check. If exit does not work, please restart the system. -
Nominating Kaspersky as the autofill service when it's not listed by the system and the system refers only to Google Play as the alternative source.

How to download Kaspersky Password Manager on Android and iOS I did all that. It was only after that, that I discovered the problem. I suspect the problems stems from the (Android 16) operating system update. That's where the list of possible choices for the autofill service comes from. -
False Positive Moza Updater / MaintenanceTool
Guest posted a topic in Virus and Ransomware related questions
I was just about to update the "Moza Pit House" software, but during installation, MaintenanceTool.exe and MOZA Updater.exe were "detected" as PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic. According to the internet, other antivirus providers have already encountered this problem with older versions. When I try to restore the files, I get a message saying the folder no longer exists, even though I can open the file path. Now I have to reinstall the software. Even when I reinstall it, I'm asked to update, and Kaspersky wants to delete the data again. I uploaded the files to VirusTotal, since I'm not sure if I'm allowed or should upload them here.
