Warum gibt es in Android keinen direkten Link zu den Update APK´s?

Moin. Es geht hier nur um Android Geräte. Bei aktualisieren werden nur irgendwelche "Stores" angeboten, wo man erst wieder ein Konto einrichten muss. Ich möchte einfach einen direkten Link zu der aktuellen APK dirket bei Kaspersky haben, warum gibt es das nicht? Jedesmal wenn ein Update benachrichtigt wird, muss erst mit Browser ins Internet und dann bis zu den APK durcharbeiten, warum so kompliziert? Weis da jemand mehr? Gruß -

Just to piggyback on here I use the android kaspersky premium app that has the vpn built in and it was forced to update today seemingly a few hours ago and its stopped certain parts of apps loading properly, cant share images from gallery or paste them into discord. Cant access duckduckgo. Couldnt load anything inside google play store or samsung store with the vpn on. Couldnt load grok inside x app until i changed dns to one.one.one.one. Not sure what youve changed but it seems to have caused me a great deal of problems on a product that was working perfectly. -

After the latest Kaspersky VPN update, the service has become practically unusable for anyone who needs accurate manual location selection. Here is a concrete example: I manually select Taiwan as the VPN location whatismyipaddress.com identifies the IP as Pakistan ipinfo.io identifies the same IP as Taiwan Other services sometimes identify it as Germany This is not about “hiding my real location” — that part works fine and is obvious to everyone using a VPN. The real issue is that manual location selection no longer corresponds to a consistent or reliable IP geolocation. In practice, this means: different websites see me as being in different countries at the same time services that rely on strict geolocation either block access or behave unpredictably the selected country becomes more of a label than an actual location Support responded with a generic explanation of how VPNs hide real locations, which completely misses the point. What users actually need to know is: are these locations virtual locations? does Kaspersky VPN still guarantee country-accurate IP addresses when a user manually selects a country? If the answer is “no”, that should be stated clearly in the UI and documentation. At this point, the unfortunate conclusion is that Kaspersky VPN has significantly degraded after the update, while the Kaspersky Antivirus product remains excellent and reliable. I’m posting this here not to complain for the sake of complaining, but to get a clear technical explanation and hopefully prevent other users from wasting time troubleshooting something that is actually a design decision.

"Websites" feature to turn on/off VPN doesn't work (Windows 11)

Im not sure if im misunderstanding this feature or if it's broken? I only want the VPN to work on a certain website, and when I go to Settings > Websites, add my domain there (example.com) and choose to enable VPN, visiting that website doesn't trigger the VPN to turn on at all. I have Kaspersky Plus (unlimited VPN). I have the latest update for Kaspersky VPN v21.24.8.522-2. Split Tunneling is OFF, so no conflictions there. Smart Protection is ON, however the main screen says I need to enable Windows location services and restart (it's disabled in my OS). Do I need to have the VPN connected all the time from the main screen (and it will only affect my website?), or how is this supposed to work exactly? -
Kaspersky is blocking my Roboform and Whatsapp apps at start up

After the last windows 11 update both my Whatsapp and Roboforms do not work with the start menu. I can get them on web browser but not the way that I would like them to work. My RoboForm on the browser doesn't then offer me my passwords to login and can't be synced with my everywhere accounts on my laptop and phone. I have spent a few hours with the Technical people at RoboForm and they can't find a solution and suggest I contact Kaspersky to find what it wrong. For RoboForm I get the following message when trying to login . Cannot Log In: Cannot connect with background: Cannot connect to server: Connecting to online.roboform.com: Cannot switch to TLS mode: rc=-1 err=5 t=error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)[0] I have tried to use trusted files etc but nothing seems to be working at the moment. For Whatsapp I get the following -

After a forced update of kaspersky VPN, the list of servers reduced from 100 to 86 and I lost the double VPN tab. Now I can't use double VPN anymore. Anyone have any idea why? -

In Windows 7 with updates I have installed Kaspersky Free 21.23.6.614 and it worked good. I performed update and patch A is installed. After restart I have a crash of Kaspersky. In Event viewer have only this: In log have error in file traffic_processing.dll. Here is attached log: I hope this will help to developers.

Specifically i try connecting to Canada - Toronto, which works but then i try connecting to dnsleaktest.com and i try and get this: nslookup dnsleaktest.com Server: unn-149-50-222-3.datapacket.com Address: 149.50.222.3 *** unn-149-50-222-3.datapacket.com can't find dnsleaktest.com: Server failed so i had to go into the network adapter called "Kaspersky VPN WG Nt Adapter Tunnel" and manually set the DNS to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare’s DNS) and 8.8.8.8 and had to set "obtain ip address automatically" in the ipv4 properties. im guessing there is a configuration issue on kaspersky's end since its a new vpn update? I also tried to set the firewall inbound UDP remote ports to allow any address from 53 and 51820 (supposedly a wire guard default port) i also tried with TCP ports but that didnt work. I hope this helps admin to realize and fix it, but yeah right now your VPN's DNS is kinda working for some sites and not for others. also sad to see you removed montreal server, now theyre all gonna flock to toronto :c also trying to use "Fastest Server" results in connecting to Bangladesh and having my ip show in paris, like what? lol -

Cannot use Kaspersky VPN after WIndows update.

After updating WIndows, specifically the 2025-11 Security Update (KB5068861), Kaspersky VPN's window a red "connection unavailable" banner and I cannot turn on VPN at all, even though my Internet connection is still fine. Is there any way to fix this? -

Im extremely pissed with this new update. Im forced to work from a very strict public wifi, which blocked many ports. With this VPN I used to have a fast and reliable connection to work with, now I can NOT even CONNECT to the VPN anymore because they removed the ability to select the protocols. The product is literally no longer usable for me after the update. This update has to be illegal.

I can see from the forum that many people have issues with the new update. None of the current threads address my issue, so here's yet another tale of woe. I recently received an update to the VPN service on 3 of my computers. Two of those computers are windows based and still work after the update - albeit with a reduced feature set. The final computer is a 2017 15 inch MacBook Pro which is only used to view media. This computer can no longer connect to the VPN at all. I was advised to remove and redownload the application, but the new version of the application is listed on the app store as only working with MacOS14+ and this MacBook is not compatible with any OS above 13. The support page ( https://www.kaspersky.co.uk/vpn-secure-connection#systemrequirements|vpn ) still lists the application as working on MacOS13+, but the old application could no longer connect and I cannot download the new application. Am I just completely out of luck here? I don't really want to go out and pay for another VPN unless I really have to. -

First of all: It's DONE, all is fine (*) - Solution as you layed out perfectly: - disable self-check, - close the app (works simply via try-icon-menu), this releases the file locks, - wipe the whole 'Report' folder. drive´s fill meter back to blue, NICE! (*) Status Quo: 2MB in 6 hours uptime ... will see in a day or two where this is going .. Housekeeping is how I found the file in the first place ;) Used 'Hack' neutrally in the sense of (having to) 'use a system in a non-intended-by-design way' (what "turning off an engine during flight" basically is ... ;)) Quite likeable actually, and so satisfying to see the fill meter snapping back ;) Thanks again for that! Current version is 21.3.10.391 and the app tells me everything is up to date. Is there a way to force an update from the GUI or would I need to download/run the newest installer-bootstrapper? Does 21.24 contain any essential updates (does it handle the Reports-files differently maybe?) or better protection, performance, etc. or just nice to have the latest GUI? Sure, 3-step solution see above. One more thing, if I may: Wondered if it's possible to write a batch or powershell script to automate that 3-step-procedure. Should not be possible I guess, since that's what any intruder will attempt to do. .. lets ask the robot: Note: Attempting to forcibly terminate antivirus software via script can interfere with system security and may trigger defensive actions by the software itself. False Positive Moza Updater / MaintenanceTool

I was just about to update the "Moza Pit House" software, but during installation, MaintenanceTool.exe and MOZA Updater.exe were "detected" as PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic. According to the internet, other antivirus providers have already encountered this problem with older versions. When I try to restore the files, I get a message saying the folder no longer exists, even though I can open the file path. Now I have to reinstall the software. Even when I reinstall it, I'm asked to update, and Kaspersky wants to delete the data again. I uploaded the files to VirusTotal, since I'm not sure if I'm allowed or should upload them here. klflt.sys causing BSOD's please help

Hello, I used Kaspersky Standard for many years without any issues. However, after a recent Kaspersky app update, it started causing BSODs right at startup. If I uninstall Kaspersky, everything goes back to normal and the PC boots correctly. I’ve already tried deleting and reinstalling drivers, and updating them, but nothing fixes it except completely removing Kaspersky. The WhoCrashed app says the problem is related to KLFLT.sys. I’m using Windows 11 on an AMD system. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -

Hallo, nach dem Update sind alle Favoritenserver weg, nur noch 86 da, kein DOUBLE VPN mehr und auch die anderen Funktionen wie privater DNS, Trackingschutz etc. sind weg, dazu ist die Downloadgeschwindigkeit auf die Hälfte reduziert, über das Update hatte ich schon im englischen Forum gerade gelesen, ist für mich eine Frechheit. Soll das so bleiben ???????????????, dann mal frohe Weihnacht, dann kann man ja gleich zur Freeware greifen. Wird wohl bei Nichtänderung ein neuer Provider gesucht. Da gibt es ja genug. -
Smart Home Monitor Not Connected

I was in touch with Kaspersky about this issue. I asked if there was a simple work-around rather than having to re-install Kaspersky following a failed connection to the Smart Home Monitor . Manz, the Customer Service representative came up with the following suggestion. After a system restart or full shutdown, exit Kaspersky (right click the Kaspersky icon in the taskbar and select Exit), then re-start Kaspersky. This worked for me. He also said that a fix was being worked on and hoped it would be in the next update. Seems a satisfactory workaround until it is fixed permanently. -

Recently, I observed some unexpected behavior while executing a local PowerShell script (test.ps1) on one of our managed hosts. I would like to clarify how KES handles local scripts and verify some network activity. 1. Automated Script Execution in Remote/Sandbox Environments When a local PowerShell script is executed, does Kaspersky Endpoint Security (via KSN or Advanced Threat Prevention) upload the script or its metadata to Kaspersky’s cloud infrastructure for analysis? Specifically, if the script contains network-outbound logic (e.g., API calls via Invoke-RestMethod), is it possible that the script is being executed or "detonated" within a Kaspersky sandbox environment, causing the API calls to originate from a non-local IP address? 2. IP Address Verification During our security audit, we detected outbound connections to the following IP address: IP Address: 79.104.209.194 Port: 443 / 13111 Could you please confirm if this IP belongs to the Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) or any official Kaspersky update/analysis servers? We need to verify if this is legitimate traffic or an unauthorized lateral movement attempt. 3. Context of the Issue We received automated alerts from our internal API (triggered by the script) that originated from an unrecognized environment. We suspect that KES might be performing a "Cloud Sandbox" analysis which triggered the script's logic externally. I look forward to your technical clarification on these points to help us refine our security policies.
