  2. It's trusted In early April, I updated Kaspersky to the latest version, but removed the older version and cleaned the registry. Around the same time, there was also a Windows security update. I have been a Kaspersky user for many years without problems, but in April, suddenly a lot of issues arose. Two days ago, a new Windows security update was released, and now everything is working properly for me again (I don't know for how long). Both Smart Home and the visibility of my NAS in Windows Explorer are working again. As it looks now, the April Windows update was the cause. In early April, I updated Kaspersky to the latest version, but removed the older version and cleaned the registry. Around the same time, there was also a Windows security update. I have been a Kaspersky user for years without problems, but in April, suddenly a lot of issues arose.     Seems the latest Kaspersky update to 21.25 has fixed this.
  4. A new version is downloaded automatically through data update search. I don't know why but in my long experience, I've been getting a frustration when It comes to face this reported unknow problem regarding scans not being registered or saved upon finished many times before. In my last threat I've really thought by uninstalling old Kaspersky Internet Security components brought along years before were causing the cullprit. I've thought wrong again. Tonight another version is being prepared to be downloaded after running automatic data bank update, making my bug free Kaspersky Standard 21.24.8.522(b) that have been working fine for 3 months and not demonstrating the bug I've being tormented in the previous versions untill Kaspersky Standard 21.25.7.504(a) came along. The annoying bug is brought back, forcing me to manually uninstall once more this year, download the executable through My Kaspersky, install back and pass another hour testing If scans are being registered or saved upon finished and check If this bug have been resolved which so far It have.🙏 So I leave this unfortunate letter regarding these automated converting mecanism when new Kaspersky Standard versions are ready to replace the current version which can leave or generate unknow or existing problems. I can't even tell If this is an issue with the A.I. implementation or a human error but It bothers me alot to remove my protection and install all back to ficando this unbelivable problem. Another line of thought but how can I keep all the registration in the report segment from previous antivirus versions when I completely uninstall and fresh install the same Live se on the same device? I'm also hope in future version in another next 3 months does not desengage this bizarr behavior.

    Nach dem letzten Update werden Passwörter nicht mehr Automatisch ausgefüllt, hab alles versucht. Betriebssystem WIN 7 und FireFox. Wer kann helfen wo der Fehler liegt oder wird WIN 7 nicht mehr Unterstützt. Euer Wusl
  6. This is honestly the worst update I’ve ever seen. The removal of essential features, such as the router feature, protocol selection, and dual VPN, has significantly reduced the functionality and flexibility that made this VPN worth using in the first place. On top of that, reducing the number of available servers and introducing a new data-processing agreement tied to PureVPN raises serious concerns for me. Please bring back the previous version or restore the features that were removed. The “new infrastructure” may meet internal standards, but from a user perspective, this update feels like a major downgrade. If this direction continues, you will likely lose long-time customers who relied on the tools and privacy options that you’ve now taken away.
  7. I had the same issues with Kaspersky on my laptop recently..... And also my Lenovo Vantage software would not carry out system update checks. The above Kaspersky software update/fix made no difference for me and so after trying uninstalling both Kaspersky and Lenovo Vantage I've rectified both issues by un-installing Microsoft's Window 11 April update/patch. Once that was uninstalled Kaspersky carries out scans normally and the Lenovo Vantage software carries out it's system update checks normally again. I've paused Windows updates so that the April update doesn't install on my system again.
  8. Dass Update Plus würde die Version 21.25.7.504(a) tragen und ist die aktuellste. Würde einfach nochmals wie Vorgeschlagen oben in den Beiträgen die Version runterladen und Darüberinstallieren lassen.
  9. Hello. I had a Kaspersky VPN that was working perfectly. With the latest update, my NAT setting for online games was changed from "Moderate" to "Strict." I'm experiencing significant lag and increased ping in games. I also noticed that some important settings in the program settings have been removed. (Catapult Hydra and Wireguard options have been removed.) - (DNS configuration page has been removed.) I kindly ask you to fix these issues as soon as possible. I don't want to look for another VPN. Thanks

  11. Hum ok... try to add this server to the update settings: https://s00.upd.kaspersky.com Once added, place the new server on top, and enable it. Are You using a VPN? What is your nationality? What is your current location?

    So die exe. gestartet, " Blut und Wasser geschwitzt " dass alles reibungslos funktioniert. Scheint funktioniert zu haben. Frage mich nur, was ist bei mir schiefgelaufen das das Update nicht selbständig installiert wurde.

    @Schulte Diese Datei finde ich nicht. Ich finde als Ordner Kaspersky21.24 Die AVP21.24\Temp gibt es nicht. Auch nicht setup. Das habe ich in My Kaspersky gefunden: Wir haben 1 Update für Ihr Programm gefunden Installieren Sie die Updates lokal auf dem Gerät. Informationen über die genaue Anzahl der Updates sind im Programm verfügbar. Die Anzahl der verfügbaren Updates wird verzögert ermittelt und kann sich von der Anzahl der im Programm verfügbaren Updates unterscheiden. Die Anzahl der Updates wird für das Benutzerkonto mit Administratorrechten ermittelt und kann für andere Benutzerkonten auf dem Gerät abweichen. Lokal auf dem Gerät beheben Finde aber nichts und weis nicht wie ich vorgehen soll.

We use Endpoint Security Cloud and it seems like after every major update we have a handful of devices with the following messages: -Security application is installed but it is not running. -Security application is installed but real-time protection is disabled. Restarting the client does not help. The only fix seems to be manually removing Kaspersky and reinstalling, which can be time consuming. Is there a quicker repair fix for this?
  16. I live in Egypt and I like Kaspersky because it's very strong in terms of protection. I'm wondering if it's available for download in Egypt. My second question is, does it update automatically in the background, or do I have to update it manually from your official website?

  19. Update Mai 2026 Die Möglichkeit, Kaspersky VPN auf dem Router zu installieren, ist zurück. Über das "My Kaspersky"-Konto kann wieder eine Konfigurationsdatei erstellt und heruntergeladen werden. Zunächst für OpenVPN, in den nächsten Monaten soll zusätzlich WireGuard unterstützt werden.   20. Moin. Es geht hier nur um Android Geräte. Bei aktualisieren werden nur irgendwelche "Stores" angeboten, wo man erst wieder ein Konto einrichten muss. Ich möchte einfach einen direkten Link zu der aktuellen APK dirket bei Kaspersky haben, warum gibt es das nicht? Jedesmal wenn ein Update benachrichtigt wird, muss erst mit Browser ins Internet und dann bis zu den APK durcharbeiten, warum so kompliziert? Weis da jemand mehr? Gruß

    Bei mir ist es immer noch die 21.24.8.522(b) Obwohl irgendwann kam eine Meldung - Update steht bereit. Da ich am arbeiten war , habe ich nicht reagiert und die Meldung verschwand.

Just to piggyback on here I use the android kaspersky premium app that has the vpn built in and it was forced to update today seemingly a few hours ago and its stopped certain parts of apps loading properly, cant share images from gallery or paste them into discord. Cant access duckduckgo. Couldnt load anything inside google play store or samsung store with the vpn on. Couldnt load grok inside x app until i changed dns to one.one.one.one. Not sure what youve changed but it seems to have caused me a great deal of problems on a product that was working perfectly.

    Frage dazu in wie weit ist das beim gestaffeltem Verteilens eines Update wichtig ob KIS-Lizenz oder einer neuen . Spielt das eine Rolle bei dem verteilen des gestaffelten Update

  25. After the latest Kaspersky VPN update, the service has become practically unusable for anyone who needs accurate manual location selection. Here is a concrete example: I manually select Taiwan as the VPN location whatismyipaddress.com identifies the IP as Pakistan ipinfo.io identifies the same IP as Taiwan Other services sometimes identify it as Germany This is not about “hiding my real location” — that part works fine and is obvious to everyone using a VPN. The real issue is that manual location selection no longer corresponds to a consistent or reliable IP geolocation. In practice, this means: different websites see me as being in different countries at the same time services that rely on strict geolocation either block access or behave unpredictably the selected country becomes more of a label than an actual location Support responded with a generic explanation of how VPNs hide real locations, which completely misses the point. What users actually need to know is: are these locations virtual locations? does Kaspersky VPN still guarantee country-accurate IP addresses when a user manually selects a country? If the answer is “no”, that should be stated clearly in the UI and documentation. At this point, the unfortunate conclusion is that Kaspersky VPN has significantly degraded after the update, while the Kaspersky Antivirus product remains excellent and reliable. I’m posting this here not to complain for the sake of complaining, but to get a clear technical explanation and hopefully prevent other users from wasting time troubleshooting something that is actually a design decision.
