  2. Same here with few computers. OUTLOOK 2019 WINDOWS 11 KASPERSKY ENDPOINT SECURITY for WINDOWS 12.8.xxx and after update 12.9.xxx. I thought the update 12.9 would fix this problem but unfortunately not the case. This problem doesn't exist ~3-4 months ago. Thanks.

I still need to carefully think before anything in upgrading to Wind.11 24h2 since lately this year have been a bad time to to make the changes since there have been seriously problematic update that are sending user's data into void like August 15th update. Anyway I light try to move when Microsoft pronunce about a reliable fix otherwise a fresh installation may break hours of work in installing the new OS. By the way but can I still find useful information on the support about Kaspersky Standard lifetime cycle when it will stop to function on Operating Systems such as mine or untill when will continue to receive updates? However the issues where KS 21.21.7.384 within few days prior that version there other users like myself include getting a hanging with KS when booting or turning on our machines. Since with compulse will to find workarounds, the only way was to wait for about a minute before entering my Windows user entrance. Within KS 21.22.7.466 that issues still remain. Some of the old reports I've listed in the past months about KS 21.21 like occasionally scans mande where not bring saved in the report page. By far till tonight like rootkit/background schedulled evento scan are no longer having this problem. However I've using my compulsive tricks to monitor whether these scans are bring saved in the report page.

Go to folder C:\ProgramData\ and delete here (if found) the folder with name “Kaspersky Lab Setup Files" (if there is a file with the same name, delete it as well) 6. Restart the PC 7. Install the Kaspersky product

  6. Kaspersky got "client" update today(21.23.6.614). So it fix itself i was having UDP MTU issue example image of it.

    Hello @kK574outrider, Also, don't worry about being paranoid - you're not - when computers do weird crap it always feels as IF aliens have taken over! Kaspersky uses a TFU (Total Force *Silent* Update) {version/patch} policy - what does that *translate* to the average user? Patches & versions are distributed by Kaspersky in a staggered distribution, they arrive on our computers & sit in the background for 7 days / 168hours - at the end of that period if the computer has not been rebooted - normally notifications are sent advising the user an update is available & they should reboot the device *however* the process you've experienced sound *normal* but possibly *new*; we've reached out to Kaspersky to see if there's been changes; please wait for feedback. One note please - when posting screen-prints, please *maximise* the image, select the tiny square box🔲 so the image fills the screen - the background is beautiful but is of no interest/use Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋
  8. Hello @kK574outrider, welcome. I actually see a connection with the MR21->MR22 upgrade. The databases in the installer can be a bit older, otherwise you would have to pack a new installer every hour, for example, check it and sign it digitally. With the default settings, an automatic database update takes place after approx. 15 minutes, which you have brought forward with the manual update. Everything is fine.
  9. I haven't, I treat this as a last resort. Such things shouldn't happen. I've raised a ticket with tech support, and I'm awaiting their response. I suppose it may simply be the same 🤔 BTW - I'm also observing issues with Outlook macros I use and which till the update worked flawlessly. This confirms Kaspersky is to blame here I believe.
  10. Thank you very much, this is really useful. But has Antivirus database update using Kaspersky Update Utility 4 (the second link) been completed? It only lists the applications that support updates but does not specify how to update them.
  11. What exact version of Windows 10? Do you have it completely up to day via Windows Update, check also Optionals? Last version of Kaspersky is 21.23.

  14. Can it be that the Cache file was pretty old and was recently picked up by Kaspersky as Opentip says it was first seen on 2nd Nov 2025 (SS below)? There were two cache files and one of them I checked on Virustotal and Jotti's malware scan and the other I wasn't able to extract from Quarantine and I deleted it from there. Maybe I had unknowingly visited a sketchy website pretty long back and the file was from then which the Antivirus AI picked up recently after the latest application version update.
  15. i noticed it recently. maybe after a microsoft update(and i say maybe because you also did a major update). i had made a folder in untrusted with full privilages and everithing else even in trusted didnt had any access to the network. and i puted what i wanted to that folder to have very basic internet and everything else to block. now everthing is unblocked without me changing anything.... even winrar ffs . network rules dont work anymore.... check the firewall ffs....

    Hallo @Rudolf1111, willkommen. Bei mir waren nach einem Update auch mal nur noch wenige Server übrig. Geholfen hat die De-/Reinstallation. Das hast Du laut Deinem Bericht zwar schon durchgeführt, ich möchte Dich aber bitten, das zu wiederholen. Es gab zuletzt Schwierigkeiten mit dem My Kaspersky Server, der ist aber wieder OK. Ich würde gerne ausschließen, dass Dein Problem damit zusammenhängt.

  18. Пока не решат проблему с доступом к базам со смартфонов при отключенном мобильном интернете, есть такая вещь - Kaspersky Update Utility. Ставите на компьютер с интернетом, скачиваете базы на флешку и обновляетесь с нее там где нет интернета.

Note - please post images in English - to convert the Kaspersky Gui to English - by pressing SHIFT + F12 on the keyboard; to revert press SHIFT + F5 on the keyboard.   22. I'm currently on Premium v21.22.7.466 (c) and want to update to the latest stable build v21.23.6.614 that has just been released. I found 3 online installers, all signed on the same date, with slightly different size & numbering: v21.23.6.614.0.142.0 v21.23.6.614.0.148.0 v21.23.6.614.0.150.0 Which one should I run?

  24. I also have read this, but I have not expected to break all with this update. We have updated dozens of VM's from Debian12 to 13 and nothing was broken. But OK, I will reinstall a Debian Bookworm and restore a backup now
