Mein Abo läuft noch fast ein Jahr, trotzdem überlege ich, ob ich Kaspersky kündigen soll. Ich bin kein Informatiker, und ich möchte auch nicht mein PC mit mir vorgeschlagenen Programmen vermüllen. Ich bin sauer und von Kaspersky enttäuscht.

One of the latest messages I got... So, they are trying to offer me a downgraded version to use in the territory of the Russian Federation. What about when I'm abroad? Should I buy another VPN just because the one that they offer me now doesn't works abroad? When this problems started on November they patched and the VPN worked well till the next update on December 12th. -

We've been experiencing the same critical issue for almost a month, during this period you managed to fix it and broke it back again with the latest update, it's affecting multiple users, devices, networks and platforms. Support keep asking for the same, switch networks, try other locations, send screenshots of the same behavior, at this point all the info you're gathering for users don't move the investigation forward and only delay escalation. This issue is reproducible, affects all sites and services, affects multiple platform and has been ongoing for weeks. That clearly indicates a backend / infrastructure / core client issue not a configuration mistake. We respectfully ask Kaspersky to: Acknowledge the incident publicly, an provide with a timeline for a fix or a temporary workaround or at least an official status update. Many of us rely on this service daily and right now is unusable. We are asking for transparency, escalation an a real resolution. -

Hello @DigitFish, Surprisingly, not!🤦♂️ Thank you for both updates! We're delighted to read the issue was resolved by following step 2 in the initial instructions. IF the problem *returns* & is not resolved by: uninstalling K Standard, a full shutdown with delay, power ON, login, download new exe, install, manually update databases, run a full scan to completion, do *another* full shutdown - IF after all of that the problem returns & patch OR new version waiting to be applied, log a request with support as we provided guidance for in our first reply. Without *accurate* information it's difficult to assist *however* IF (you) had Kaspersky Total Security - KTS - (as the topic is logged under) & OR Kaspersky Internet Security - KIS - (as in yr current reply) *both* products are from Kaspersky's *old* Home range, *both* have been replaced, KIS by Kaspersky Standard & KTS by Kaspersky Plus -Kaspersky is offering a *free-like-for-like* upgrade, read: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ, by Kaspersky Danila T. After reading the information, install the *new* Kaspersky software by downloading from (your) MyKaspersky account, then make sure: The Kaspersky application is signed into so it synchronises with (your) MyKaspersky account. In the troubleshooting & problem determination/steps to resolve - has the computer ever been SHUTDOWN - using the *Shutdown* option - not Restart, a time delay of at least five minutes - then the computer restarted by pressing the power button ON & logging in? For *our* clarity, when (you) say: "Actually when I use Kaspersky Internet Security, sometimes this problem appeared. " - does that mean the red-icon issue pre-existed the install of Kaspersky Standard? Has Kaspersky Standard been fully *uninstalled* using Windows - Add & remove programs, the computer shutdown, using SHUTDOWN - not Restart, powered ON by pressed the power button, logged into & a *new* Kaspersky Standard downloaded & installed from (your) MyKaspersky account? Hallo . Vor kurzen musste ich meine Windows 21H2 auf 25H2 Version aktualisieren . Dafür musste ich in BIOS TPM2.0 aktivieren . Aktualisierung hat gut geklappt . Aber, so lange ich Kaspersky installiere kommen ständige PC Abstürze wenn Windows neu Update bekommt und versucht die zu installieren . Selbst abschalten vom Antivirusschutz hilft nicht . Nur wenn Kaspersky vollständig deinstalliert wird kann man in Ruhe kommende Update installieren und darnach wieder Kaspersky drauf machen . Dabei kommt von Antivirus die Meldung, das nicht alle Optionen jetzt bei Kaspersky genutzt werden können . Kann mir jemand dabei helfen ?

In Windows 7 with updates I have installed Kaspersky Free 21.23.6.614 and it worked good. I performed update and patch A is installed. After restart I have a crash of Kaspersky. In Event viewer have only this: In log have error in file traffic_processing.dll. Here is attached log: I hope this will help to developers.

Dear Community Recently I have done a lot of research on how can I setup Kaspersky on my XP workstations , so I came up to that Old Kaspersky Internet Security got installed in my Windows XP workstation and get databases updated successfully . I am sharing the full process . Hello, after several remote assistance sessions with Kaspersky support, the issue has finally been identified. It turned out that, after an update and for no apparent reason, the program started running in Windows 8 compatibility mode, even though this option was not enabled in the settings. So its important to try that, and if the situation hasn't improved either lodge or update a support ticket, this will help Kaspersky further diagnose the issues and how widespread they are. The absence of any contribution or explanation by this forum's moderators on many of the threads concerning this issue is telling. It may indicate that a strict "no comment" directive from legal and PR has been applied to what can be described as follows: "A Severity 1 (SEV-1) incident: a global service degradation lasting more than 4 hours , triggering company-wide emergency protocols." Normally an outage affecting connectivity for a majority of users would be expected to be resolved within 24-48 hours. Just how widespread this is issue is unknown but given that the update applies to all platforms and subscription types it is likely to be extensive, and silence can be a form of damage control. There must be a fundamental incompatibility between Kaspersky's software and PureVPN's infrastructure that requires a major re-engineering effort to fix. Temporary use of one of the many free VPNs is a good option to have a break from the stress of dealing with this. I wish I could be of more help, just know that you are definitely not alone.- 15 replies

After updating WIndows, specifically the 2025-11 Security Update (KB5068861), Kaspersky VPN's window a red "connection unavailable" banner and I cannot turn on VPN at all, even though my Internet connection is still fine. Is there any way to fix this?

@Flood and Flood's wife I would like to update you that Thailand's location is back and the number of locations has increased to 99 , now I have to wait patiently for the router feature, protocol selection and Double VPN options are back😅 my case no. Update to the Latest Version for Smooth VPN Performance

Sent a support ticket 6 days ago and received 2 replies only, both asking me for logs, system info and many things that are obviously not related to the problem, are the customer support people not told that the issue is your service and not my completely unrelated 4 devices all on different versions of the app and now updated to equally useless latest versions? It's fairly straightforward that whatever update was done, was done incorrectly or to extremely low quality servers and now doesn't work. I asked for a partial refund at the very least because I paid for a service and I got an application that has to stay turned off and no service but "I'm out of the 30-day period" so I can't even get my money back after years of paying for this service. I don't see any updates anywhere and this was after the atrocious changes announced at the end of November, "update to the latest version" does nothing, I've been on the last 3 "latest" versions and the debug version, unable to refresh gmail or get a whatsapp message, even play a youtube video on a computer. For all the people who will rightfully cancel the service, you should at least post an update explaining that the service doesn't work or instruct your customer service to be honest instead of saying that updating the application will magically fix the bad service provided. -

All of Windows Apps that require Internet, even prompts to login to MS account, failed as they couldn't detect internet connection. This was all of a sudden. I have windows 11 to the last cumulative update. Afeter trying so many things, like desactivate PROXY, change DNS, disable Kaspersky VPN, and suspend Kaspersky protection. Nothing worked. Finally the issue was gone when I uninstalled Kaspersky Security; VPN and password manager. I have time of subscription left still, and I need an antivirus. What could have happened with the Kaspersky apps to cause this, and is there a configuration which avoids this issue? Thanks -

What a nightmare. I'm happy I made the decision to use another provider. The 8th day was the absolute limit for me. A month? That is absolutely insane. They should roll the update back until they fix the problem with the integration.- 15 replies
