Ty for the help. I understand what you are saying but my situation with K is weird to say the least. But I did, I admit, not make the title of the op clear enough. a better title, now i have thought about it, would be: why Kaspersky not follow MY defender rules ? Can it not tell which rules are which ? ie which are set by me ,the administrator , and other things w/e they may be. I am not really interested in anyone telling me what is best for me. I know what that is. It was just a simple question I thought. Apparently not . I have uninstalled K, and all is working again as I like it too, so np now this thread serves no purpose and can be closed or w/e. It is not solved as the answers are all of the, "Trust me Bro" - I am a piece of software and I do what I want not what you want ok, Variety. and, its for your own good, type stuff. I am not senile, yet at least, and am capable of working out what is for my own good or not and unfortunately it has never stopped me from doing anything 😉

Hi, we are using: 14.2.0.26967 administration server 14.2.0.26967 administration agent 12.3.0 Endpoint Security for Windows After an Update from 12.2.0 to 12.3.0 on our Windows 10 Clients, all usb connected attachments with an microphone like headsets or webcams stopped working in a propper way. Our Jabra Biz 2400 II Duo stopped working at all, our logitech webcams only work without the microphone. On the client log we find the information that the Connection with this device was blocked: Ereignisname Die Verbindung mit dem Gerät wurde blockiert Signifikanz: Warnung Programm: Kaspersky Endpoint Security für Windows (12.3.0) Versionsnummer: 12.3.0.493 Aufgabenname: Gerätekontrolle Gerät: hostname Gruppe: groupname Uhrzeit: Mittwoch, 22. November 2023 12:19:11 Name des virtuellen Administrationsservers: Beschreibung: Ereignistyp: Die Verbindung mit dem Gerät wurde blockiert Gerätekategorie: Datenbus Gerätetyp/Schnittstellentyp: USB Benutzer: Username (Aktiver Benutzer) Ergebnis\Entscheidung: Verbieten Ergebnis\Vorgang: Verbindung Only when the access to the usb is not blocked in the policy, the devices with microphones work properly. Our policy normaly says: block usb but allow webcams, and there is no point to activate/allow audiodevices like headsets. What can we do ? Kaspersky is not showing the devices to whitelist them. And is the devicecategory Databus correct for an USB-Microphone ? Any suggestions are welcome best regards fatcharly

What happens is that I am doing development, and as I need to see what is in the Fetch/XHR as the product is injecting turns a mess, in my case I want to know how to do to disable and after I finish doing my development activate again. I also have a problem that I had to uninstall the antivirus because it was blocking the tool that I have to work called NUKE it generate builds for .net how do I do not block it I am waiting for an answer because I am without antivirus due to this problem.

Since the 14.2 update the policy I had configured to exclude a folder on certain devices from being analysed hasn't been working, the folder is getting detected by malware scans and files are being deleted. The policy is the same from the 14.0 versión, I've tried adding the exceptión file by file and creating a new policy with the exceptions but nothing seems to work.

Hello , I'm using windows 11 with Kaspersky total security version: 21.3.10.391 (j) When I try to download files over the browser larger than 1 or 2 GB, the download process reaches around 30% and suddenly stops The problem happens in various browsers (IE, Edge , Chrome) and also when i'm trying to download games from my XBOX app account in my PC. The download start and after a while stopped completely. I am able to download files only when i'm disabling Kaspersky protection completely. After reading several similar posts in this forum , I tried to uninstall Kaspersky and reinstall it. It didn't solve my problem. Will be happy for your help

VPN Secure Connection fails to connect

Well, it didn't last long... After a couple of days working, I'm now back with the same problem. This time, I can access the list of country servers, but if I select a different one, it does not change. If I click on the on/off toggle switch, the button disappears and the switch background turns green-red and it hangs forever until I quite with the "close" (X) icon. It states underneath that "Your connection is secure". A quick check of my IP address shows that the VPN is not working. I attach before click (left) and after click photos. -

Do the following procedure and check if it is working: Uninstall Kaspersky Secure Connection Restart your computer Clean up temporary files and leftovers from the removed installation Download and install the latest version of KVPN Restart your computer Try using the VPN again Check if the problem persists Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection → Download link If possible, give feedback 👍 -
Hello @Toriatama, Welcome back! 1) How are Settings configured? 2) Opera / GX are forbidden by design / default, read: KSK, Limitations and warnings, Denylist of applications - if a parent decides to *allow* a child to use Opera / GX - KSK monitors & logs the activity in KSK reports - the same as any other browser: IF (your) KSK is not doing that *clean* install the software making sure first - to fully remove KSK on *all* devices & for that process *do not have any other application running*, at the end of the uninstall shutdown *each* device & leave it off & start working on the next one - when *all* devices *including* yours have KSK uninstalled - power each device on, then start the install for each device, again do one at a time - at the completion of a full refresh of KSK on all devices - shutdown / power OFF each device - do not use RESTART, when the devices are OFF, power ON by pressing the power button, login, recheck if KSK reports Opera/GX activity? 3) We're not 'testing' WeChat in any shape or form - there's a multitude of reasons why. An apps *popularity* is not necessarily a measure of many aspects of an app, even Kaspersky makes note of this fact when they publish KSN data for *other* apps, advising KSN is nothing more that a collation of user data. 4) You may wish to log the issue with Kaspersky Customer Service: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - we recommend you don't ask them to test WeChat, rather present the issue with *facts & data*: KSK is not working when WeChat (as a browser) is used. KSK version on each device: - for Windows, in hidden icons - rightclick the KSK icon, select About? - for Android, open KSK, select the Parent icon, select About? IF there's an issue with an application, the full name & version of the application & IF the app is installed on *different* OS, for example Windows & Android, full name & version of the application *on all devices* Opera GX version on each device - Windows? - Redmi? I recently purchased a Crumar Performer that has some keyboard issues. The bottom C is completely dead and the other 4 C's have a very long sustain, regardless of where the slider is positioned in the Strings section. All the other keys are fine. I've taken it apart and cleaned the contacts but that hasn't helped at all. Any ideas? Thanks! -
Hello, I would like to express my opinion on the product in hope that it will inherit some of Nordpass features that I miss. First of all, i had a problem when trying to import my passwords from Nordpass to Kaspersky, So I ended up manually importing all data took me lots of time. Kaspersky PM should support creating Passkeys like Nordpass is doing Kaspersky PM should fix the issue of having to create a new entry for an App (like if i have a spotify android app and spotify Desktop app, i have to make 2 entries for the same thing 😞 not good) Kaspersky PM on android have a problem not showing the right password when trying to log in into an app, even if i create a new password info while choosing (App) as an entry ***************** I use Kaspersky PM on windows and its working fine with websites but not with the apps. I like the vault feature something that Nordpass dont have or you have to pay more for it (no thank you!) So I hope these things will be fixed this next few months, Cuz i dont want to switch back to Nordpass.

Problem: When deploy the SVM of KSV LA on the vSphere 6.5, the following error may occur: Reason: This issue occurs because vCenter Server cannot detect any vSAN storage provider. There is no way to detect vSAN storage provider if no hosts are available when vCenter Server starts. Note: vSAN storage provider cannot be recognized automatically even after host start working properly. Workaround: This is a known issue affecting vCenter Server. To workaround this issue, you have the following options: 1. Initiate synchronizing vSAN storage provider by clicking icon for synchronization in the page: vCenter Server -> Configure -> Storage Providers 2. Make sure at least one host is working when starting vCenter Server.

Windows 11 Version: 22H2 (OS Build 22621,1555) KIS Application: 21.3.10.391 Safe money is not operating in Firefox,Chrome,Edge. I get a "Run Error Message as pictured. Even if I go through KIS Safe Money App it is the same. Also, I keep getting the popup to "Activate Kaspersky Extension". The extension is active, but popup persists. Any help would be appreciated.

Step-by-step guide In order to allow them work properly use BadUSB on-screen keyboard, using other onscreen keyboards or physical ones is not recommended. To open BadUSB on-screen keyboard click on the highlighted text (example for Russian localization). Note that Prohibit use of On-Screen Keyboard for authorization of USB devices option should be turned off.
