Hello Muhammad.Moin, you told the forum the problem was solved by above procedure. Is this not the case anymore? Is this no longer working again? If yes, I highly recommend to open a support ticket with Technical Support to be able to analyze the problem in detail. All data you sending in to the ticket will be handled confidential. But I will be honest, without any traces and more in depth troubleshooting I do not see a chance to get your problem solved here. Thank you for your understanding Best Regards

Hello! Using KSC 14.2 We are running Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows Web control settings on our clients and its working really well. I was wondering if we could implement these settings for an RDP Terminal server farm? I didn't find the appropiate policy settings for Kaspersky Security for Windows server. Is it possible to install the Endpoint Security client on a server? Will the Web Control component work on a server machine? Best regards, Lajos

I activated a 1 year protection for my kaspersky internet security application in 7th January of 2024 in my home country and it worked perfectly, then i moved to Moscow, Russia, my application was working fine. after couple days i decided to reinstall my windows. Therefore i had to reinstall and reactive my kaspersky application. However i couldn't reactivate it and it told me it is invalid for this region. Is there any other way to activate my kaspersky application without buying another one?

Mouse/keyboard issues
fdavidl replied to George 44's topic in Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium
I recently purchased a Crumar Performer that has some keyboard issues. The bottom C is completely dead and the other 4 C's have a very long sustain, regardless of where the slider is positioned in the Strings section. All the other keys are fine. I've taken it apart and cleaned the contacts but that hasn't helped at all. Any ideas? Thanks! -
Thank you again for your detailed reply. @LAN Support @Farhad You kind observation would be appreciated in the issue. But the problem is happening on a single KSC while working fine on another KSC. Let me describe the environment first: A = master KSC, and b,c, d, and e = slave KSC. So the updates are working fine on c, d, and e while not working on A and b. I hope the above scenario clears the environment. Now you have described the task of updating devices, but our two KSCs, Master A and Slave b, are not updating the repositories as the other two update them correctly. Note: We are using a local folder or network folder as an update source for the task. DOWNLOAD UPDATE TO ADMN SERVER REPOSITORY.

Kaspersky Plus V21.15.8.493 on Win11 23H2 (fully up to date). I am trying to ping the Windows Box from a Linux (it is a homemade network monitor) and it has been working fine up until I installed Kaspersky where it has stopped working. The packet rules are the default rules on install. Many thanks for your help.

Hello @Richard85, Thank you for posting back! Excellent! We do not understand this comment, what is meant by: "Netflix can be access with its "generic" location"? Good, on Android, we can't, with the Premium VPN & Premium Netflix, for the Philippines, we get a terminated connection; post a Netflix URL that's working for the Philippines OR the name of a Philippine movie - you are successfully watching - from the Netflix Philippine catalogue please, we'd like to see if we can access it? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋

Hello @Richard85 Welcome back! 1. For Windows, in Kaspersky's VPN application, Streaming services tab, for Netflix, only USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan - are shown: 2. According to the Supported streaming services document - for Netflix, only USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan - are supported, the document review date: Dec 12th, 2023, so how iOS & Android are working is odd. 3. It'd be best to log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - on the support page: select Chat or Email, then fill in Cannot access a website when VPN is enabled template - see image below; please include a *detailed history*, so Support can try to assist... When the problem is resolved, please share the outcome, with the Community? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋

Is Kaspersky Rescue Disk No Longer Supported?

Advice and Solutions (Forum Knowledgebase) Disclaimer. Read before using materials. KSO365 is a cloud solution. It does not work in the cloud by itself but together with Microsoft Exchange Online (EOL) and its anti-spam and anti-virus protection. In more than 95% of cases, Microsoft Forefront (Ff) performs the spam and virus scans first, due to Microsoft's cloud architecture. Thus, if Ff has identified an email as spam, virus, phishing, etc., and has done with it any action (according to the settings) except “Skip”, we do not check this email and do nothing with it. We cannot change the verdicts given by other applications. If an email went to the user's box without Ff detects or with the “Skip” action, KSO365 comes into play. It performs all the scans that the user has enabled, gives its verdicts and performs the actions configured by the user. Special mention should be made of the SCL parameter, which is necessary when working with spam detection. This is the only general letter parameter that KSO365 can change but only upwards.

Advice and Solutions (Forum Knowledgebase) Disclaimer. Read before using materials. When administrator attempts to establish a connection between KS4O365 workspace and their Exchange online organization by doing the following in the administration console: Office 365 connection → Exchange Online connection → Grant Access → passes the consent validation algorithm but in the end gets the Error processing the request error: This error is usually triggered by the browser settings on the client host that is performing the consent validation. Upon executing consent validation algorithm we get the access token from Microsoft. Then we redirect browser to our web site's URL and attach access token as a cookie. Upon redirecting, cookie with access token is lost/blocked somehow, usually this is caused by one of the following reasons: Browser filters cookies on its own. For instance due to some extensions, browser settings, or due to some beta version of browser with paranoid default security settings. Some 3rd party program, for example a file anti-virus, is blocking access to the file with the browser's cookies on the local hard drive. Thus, the following action plan is suggested. Step-by-step guide Clear all history, cache and cookie in the web-browser, restart it and check the reproduction. If it doesn’t help, then please make sure that the same error occurs if you try to do the same operation in another web-browser supported by the product (https://support.kaspersky.com/KS4MO365/1.2/en-US/141858.htm) or in incognito mode of the browser. Also, temporarily disabling anti-malware solutions or any 3-rd party products that might be blocking/locking/inspecting browser's cookie files is called for. If the issue will persist, then please do the following: 1. Open Google Chrome web-browser. 2. Press F12 keyboard button. 3. Enable Preserve log option in Network tab. 4. Reproduce the whole scenario from the begging (log into business hub account) and the issue itself. 5. Make an error screenshot with time stamp. 6. Export Network debugging results to HAR-file. 7. Provide HAR-file + screenshot to the Kaspersky Support. Also we will be interested in the URL that will be shown when the error will pop-up in the browser.

VPN doesn't connect to my Kaspersky Premium license
tcwe replied to tcwe's topic in Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection
Thank you for your response. 1. Other than [this problem, which seems to be general-ish] Yes; it's been working fine (and unlike OP in that thread, my databases do update automatically). 2. "The subscription for Kaspersky Internet Security is not in use on any connected device." 3. It shows that it's in use on 2 of 5 devices (this is accurate) 4. No 5. Also no 6. It says "Kaspersky VPN" -

Mozilla vulnerabilities 06.jan.2024 critical
Bilal9890 replied to Hedgerss's topic in Virus and Ransomware related questions
To ensure security, it is important to keep your web browser updated. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge all regularly release updates to fix vulnerabilities and improve overall security. If you uninstall Mozilla Firefox due to a security vulnerability, consider reinstalling it as soon as a fix is released. The Mozilla team typically responds quickly to security issues. Alternatively, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are also reputable browsers with strong security features. Which one you choose comes down to personal preference. Both browsers receive regular updates to address security concerns. Ultimately, which browser you choose will depend on your preferences, the features you prioritize, and the ecosystem you're already a part of. All major browsers are actively working to improve security. Therefore, it is important to always keep your browser of choice updated with the latest version for a safer browsing experience. -
Hello @Galdor, Welcome back! The Version is *important* - IF it's the *old* Kaspersky Anti-Virus, even tho it's "always up to date" that may be the problem, on the Windows hidden icons, right-click the Kaspersky icon, select About - it will show the full name, the version & the patch OR open the Kaspersky Anti-Virus application, select the Headset 🎧icon, next to the Settings⚙️icon, that with open the Customer Service page, on that page is: License key (hide this information before posting) Operating System Database release date 👉Application version & patch👈 IF the installed software is 21.3*, that's the *old* version, check & see if the "python code will stop working...etc" issue happens with Kaspersky's *new* software, read: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ? Noting: Kaspersky STANDARD https://www.kaspersky.com/standard *replaces* Kaspersky Anti-Virus - see image 👉OR - IF (you're) still having trouble, refer to the instructions we shared with you in April 2023, when you posted: Kaspersky is blocking python from accessing the internet. Please post back? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳+🐋

Hi, I'm using windows 10 Pro 22H2 (Build 19045.3803) Kaspersky anti virus : can't find the version but it's always up to date Python version 3.11 So I didn't have this problem but this weekend I noticed it, my python code will stop working after launching it 3-5 times with a "[WinError 10054] An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" Example of code being blocked : import requests token_id = "7iT1GRYYhEop2nV1dyCwK2MGyLmPHq47WhPGSwiqcUg5" url = f"https://api.dexscreener.com/latest/dex/tokens/{token_id}" response = requests.get(url) print(response.json()) Copy and pasting the code in a new file make it work again, renaming the file does not, so something is tracking that file and blocking its network callq. right clic>disable protection on kaspersky do not solve the problem right clic > close on kaspersky solves the problem. Once kaspersky is closed everything works again. What could I do? there is no report of anything being blocked and why in kaspersky anti virus. Thanks.

The problem is that I have automatic updates set to run and they are not doing so. I get the windows security tray icon with the yellow blip, open it to see that there are actions recommended in Kaspersky Small Office Security so I open that and it says that databases are out of date and gives me a button that I must click to perform the update. Ultimately I can update KSOS but it requires my user input to click the update button. I want it to happen automatically. This has been an on-going issue for at least the past 3 months and I have entirely uninstalled and reinstalled KSOS in that time. The issue persists. Please help.3

Hello, If my Kaspersky Internet Protection is running, I am unable to connect to websites like youtube.com and github.com from both firefox and chrome. Even curl commands in terminal fails with certificate revoked error. Even if I enable 'do not scan encrypted connections' in network settings the same issue still happens. But when I pause the Kaspersky Internet Protection everything is working as expected. What do I do in this case

If you are experiencing issues with your Kaspersky antivirus software and are unable to find the Kaspersky icon in your hidden icons, here are some steps you can follow to check and ensure that your antivirus is functioning properly: 1. **Check the System Tray:** - Look for the Kaspersky icon in the system tray, which is usually located at the bottom-right corner of your desktop. It may be hidden in the overflow section of the tray, so you may need to click the up arrow to see all icons. 2. **Task Manager:** - Open the Task Manager by right-clicking on the taskbar and selecting "Task Manager" or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc. - Look for any Kaspersky processes in the "Processes" or "Details" tab. If you find them, it indicates that Kaspersky is running. 3. **Check for Notifications:** - Kaspersky often provides notifications regarding the status of your antivirus protection. Look for any notifications that might indicate issues or the current status of your antivirus. 4. **Kaspersky Interface:** - Open the Kaspersky antivirus interface. You can usually do this by double-clicking on the Kaspersky icon on your desktop or searching for "Kaspersky" in the Start menu. 5. **Verify Subscription:** - Within the Kaspersky interface, check for the status of your subscription. Make sure that your premium subscription is active and has not expired. 6. **Update Kaspersky:** - Ensure that your Kaspersky antivirus is up-to-date. Check for updates within the Kaspersky interface and install any available updates. Regarding the pop-up messages about upgrading the VPN, you can prioritize your antivirus by focusing on resolving the Kaspersky issues first. Once you have verified that your antivirus is working correctly, you can then address any other software or services. Remember to keep your operating system and all software, including antivirus, up-to-date to ensure the best security for your computer.
