Kaspersky prevents Windows from going to sleep properly

Laptop Lenovo Legion win11 23H2 Kaspersky Premium. Trouble waking up after sleeping. Sleep state: Standby (S3). Only one power plan that is Balanced (and after powercfg -restoredefaultschemes). Sfc /scannow OK Note: I have an external mouse and keyboard that allow the system to wake up. The strange thing I have noticed. When I put it in sleep mode, it wakes up normally. When I leave it alone without work (Balanced option), and it "sleeps" it does not wake up. Perhaps I notice that this is a different sleep. In force sleep everything turns off and the Power button flashes. In the second case it's like the fans are running and the Power button is solidly on. (Here it does not wake up and is forced to power off). (Hibernate is OFF) -

Thanks but in my kaspersky server when I click on kaspersky service by the name kaspersky security center administration server and make the service state automatically but after one refresh it stopped automatically what is your idea what is the reason -

most likely there was a failure in one of the KSC services - open the service snap-in - erase the display according to the status, it will be sanded “automatically” - check the services that should have been started but are currently not working Basically, pay attention to all services in the description of which there is a mention of “Kaspersky” or administration server. Also check the services responsible for the SQL server... start the services, wait a couple of minutes and try to connect... Hey I have installed kaspersky sql database then I have installed the kaspersky security center before it was good and working normally so now if I connect to or click to the kaspersky security center 14 I am unable able to connect it gives the following error Kaspersky Security Center 14 Connecting to Administration Server localhost Failed to connect to the Administration Server for this reason: *Failed to establish connection with the remote device (location: 'http://localhost:13291'): connection has failed.* Please try to specify another Administration Server address and connect again.

@Benjamin TheodoreWelcome back When you restart your computer, the safe will actually be locked again because the application itself (as well as the operating system) is completely shut down. I performed a test on my machine and set the Auto-Lock to "Never" and it is working normally. Try reinstalling the product by installing the most up-to-date version (here) and/or change this option again so that the new settings are saved (maybe there was a bug when saving the settings) -

Should be work with kaspersky standard. I had kaspersky total security license and when I download and install for example kaspersky standard automatically was installed kaspersky plus. So should be work with your license also. If you have saved your license on your my.kaspersky account you can try. If will not working with new products then you can revert back to KIS. Easy. -

@MirceaForce No. The current equivalent version of KIS is the Kaspersky Standard. Source → Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ The database is working normally and is the same for both new and old products. -

@MirceaForce no. These old range of products are end of life. Still database updates working. KIS is replaced by kaspersky standard. But there are new range of products kaspersky standard, plus and premium. -

Hello there, Since more than one month, I have been trying to have my VPN running and connecting without any luck, I tried it in all my 4 computers, but it doesn't work anymore. $ computers, each has different operation system, VPN was working just fine on each, but suddenly, its not! Please advise. -

This fixed also my problem with Proton Drive not syncing and outloook crashing, yet i still have several problems with office 365. Kaspersky blocks some of the connections thus causing troubles. Only fix is to shutdown protection for the period i'm working on something. Not an optimal solution. -
VPN Secure Connection fails to connect

Thanks. If it was the OS, I would expect to have the problem constantly, but I just reinstalled the VPN and it now works again. Over the last 2 days, it worked from sleep mode and from stut down, no problem. But after the second waking from sleep mode today, it stopped working. Does it matter what country you are in, or you choose for the server? Thanks for the technical support link. -

Well, it didn't last long... After a couple of days working, I'm now back with the same problem. This time, I can access the list of country servers, but if I select a different one, it does not change. If I click on the on/off toggle switch, the button disappears and the switch background turns green-red and it hangs forever until I quite with the "close" (X) icon. It states underneath that "Your connection is secure". A quick check of my IP address shows that the VPN is not working. I attach before click (left) and after click photos. -
Hello @Toriatama, Welcome back! 1) How are Settings configured? 2) Opera / GX are forbidden by design / default, read: KSK, Limitations and warnings, Denylist of applications - if a parent decides to *allow* a child to use Opera / GX - KSK monitors & logs the activity in KSK reports - the same as any other browser: IF (your) KSK is not doing that *clean* install the software making sure first - to fully remove KSK on *all* devices & for that process *do not have any other application running*, at the end of the uninstall shutdown *each* device & leave it off & start working on the next one - when *all* devices *including* yours have KSK uninstalled - power each device on, then start the install for each device, again do one at a time - at the completion of a full refresh of KSK on all devices - shutdown / power OFF each device - do not use RESTART, when the devices are OFF, power ON by pressing the power button, login, recheck if KSK reports Opera/GX activity? 3) We're not 'testing' WeChat in any shape or form - there's a multitude of reasons why. An apps *popularity* is not necessarily a measure of many aspects of an app, even Kaspersky makes note of this fact when they publish KSN data for *other* apps, advising KSN is nothing more that a collation of user data. 4) You may wish to log the issue with Kaspersky Customer Service: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts - we recommend you don't ask them to test WeChat, rather present the issue with *facts & data*: KSK is not working when WeChat (as a browser) is used. Here's the screen images blah, blah, blah On the support page, as the WeChat issue happens across both Windows & Android, it's (your) decision which OS template you select, then select either Chat OR Email, then fill in Application malfunction, Other: 5) For the Redmi, download AIDA64 from GooglePlayStore & include a AIDA64 Report, for the Windows device if support need Logs or Traces they will guide you. 6) For *all* devices, whether the topic is raised in the Forum OR shared with Kaspersky Customer Service *always* share: OS version & build, for Windows, in the Search field type WINVER, post the information shown in the About Windows applet? KSK version on each device: - for Windows, in hidden icons - rightclick the KSK icon, select About? - for Android, open KSK, select the Parent icon, select About? IF there's an issue with an application, the full name & version of the application & IF the app is installed on *different* OS, for example Windows & Android, full name & version of the application *on all devices* Opera GX version on each device - Windows? - Redmi? Hello today, when i turned on the computer- i encountered a strange scene - all the executive programs and control panel have been converted to "" LNK format "" the start menu - toolbar and search are not working - even all the printers in the control panel were deleted with anti virus support company - i called - after a long investigation - they announced that this problem is not due to a malware attack and that the windows registry has been damaged - is this correct ? is there really a problem with the Windows registry ? and there was no cyber attack thank you all for helping me

Thanks for the feedback and help. I followed your instructions and now have version 21.16.6.467 installed. I deleted temporary files but I'm not sure if that clears everything from the previous install. I also have Total Internet Security installed, and so during installation, the installer asked if I wanted to connect to my account. I responded "yes". So far, the VPN is working and I can select the server country, but the real test comes when it's in daily use and restarted repeatedly. I'll obviously update if the problem continues. -

Problem: When deploy the SVM of KSV LA on the vSphere 6.5, the following error may occur: Reason: This issue occurs because vCenter Server cannot detect any vSAN storage provider. There is no way to detect vSAN storage provider if no hosts are available when vCenter Server starts. Note: vSAN storage provider cannot be recognized automatically even after host start working properly. Workaround: This is a known issue affecting vCenter Server. To workaround this issue, you have the following options: 1. Initiate synchronizing vSAN storage provider by clicking icon for synchronization in the page: vCenter Server -> Configure -> Storage Providers 2. Make sure at least one host is working when starting vCenter Server.

I'm working on TestArchitect (TA). While installing TA on the Windows 10 machine, Kaspersky detected it as a trojan virus: PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic and deleted the setup file. TA is an enterprise product and has signed digital. Additionally, I'm using "InstallShield" to pack the build and I also try to remove some actions in the build but the issue is still happening. I see that this is a false positive. I was wondering if you could review this false positive and fix it. Note: the setup file to analyze is bigger than 256 Mb (> 600 Mb), so I can not upload through https://opentip.kaspersky.com/?tab=upload. Please support me in another way to send you the file. More information: KAS version: Kaspersky Premium 21.15.8.493 (a) (latest updated) Windows: 10.0.19045 (Pro)
