  2. Hello, I recently noticed that the Weak Settings Scan is not always working as intended. I had to change temporary the gpedit settings to allow using PrtScr for some apps: So I changed "User Account Control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation" to disabled. Kaspersky noticed the change (and that is awesome): But fixing the setting didn't apply it back to enabled in the group policy. I even used gpupdate /force but still a no-go. But after a new scan it didn't find any problems, despite that fact it was still on disabled in the Group Policy. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks!

  4. Does Kaspersky install its own mouse or keyboard drivers or change mouse/keyboard registry settings anymore? I read there were some issues regarding this in the past. And why would the software have to do any such thing? Excuse my ignorance but I’m a noob at antivirus. considering switching from Norton to Kaspersky. thank you
  5. Hi! I have a question or a proposal for you. Situation: I'm working in windows 10 desktop under domain user account with simple user privileges. There is a KIS installed. From time to time a have notifications from It about upcoming software updates, but(!)... I'm unable to install them from User account and KIS gives me a suggestion to ask my system administrator to update them. It is Ok, since I have another local account with admin rights. But(!) due to some software installed, I can not just "switch user" and update software with KIS, instead of this I have to completely log-out (e.g. close my environment, browser, working files, e.t.c... - a lot of stuff and time), log in under admin account and then do the Update, and after that - log-out with admin and login with domain user account again and spend a lot of time to restore the working environment... I've tried to find some workaround and tried to "Run As" KIS GUI with admin rights..., but GUI nevertheless starts with current user rights. So the proposal is: allow KIS to automatically download software updates under logged in user and then allow user to start updates installation process with privileged user account - e.g. button "Start update as..." in user interface.

  7. Device: Apple iPhone 8 iOS Version: 16.7.2 Safe Kids Version: 1.99.0 This is a bug with the safe kids app. I've reported to Kaspersky already, just letting others know as well. I'm able to recreate this by factory resetting my daughter's iphone 8. Setting up a child's account in a family group, with purchase requests turned on causes me to be notified and need to approve/deny any app downloads she attempts from her device. Once I install the Safe Kids app, I stop receiving purchase request notifications for her account. There are no error messages, it simply stops sending the notifications to the parent's device. Other apple devices without safe kids installed continue to send purchase request notifications.
  8. Hello, My Kaspersky VPN stopped working on all my computers, it just says "Failed to connect, try connecting later", no matter what country, known that it was working well before.   10. Hi everyone, I have been having problems with Spotify for a while now. Basically, the app stops working. I have noticed if I disable KIS, Spotify works fine. If it's running it looks like (see attached images). Can someone help? Cheers
  11. Good morning, since yesterday I have had a problem due to very unpleasant behavior regarding the creation of an executable file. During compilation, my Kaspersky Antivirus software reports that the .exe file contains malicious software: HEUR:Trojan-Spy.MSIL.Bobik.gen In fact, there are no viruses or any other harmful code in the mentioned file. There may be some suspicious strings in this EXE file. Could you inspect and resolve this issue please? I emphasize that using this version of the file it was working since 03/26/2024 and previous versions also for at least five years and everything was always correct - until 04/02/2024, when the problem appeared out of nowhere. If I pause AV protection everything works correctly and the installation file is created. However, after resuming protection, the created file is labeled as described above and Kaspersky deletes it.   12. I've set the autolock vault timer to 'Never'. Still, every time I close my browser/restart my PC, the vault is locked (both the browser extension and the App).
  13. I am experiencing the issue, I also tried to reinstall the password manager, and even all of my Kaspersky applications, it didn't help. I am located in Germany. The Synchronisation on my Android device is still working as it used to, but my windows device, on which I installed KPM yesterday and today isn't working.

  16. I have kaspersky premium subscription. I installed kaspersky password manager. I have a good internet connection. But I cannot Sync my kaspersky password manager. Its shows unable to sync please check your internet connection error. I try complete uninstall and reinstall Kaspersky Password Manager but its not working. Kindly need your help.   19. Hmm. I had to go back to a restore point because my graphics card blew-up. Kaspersky Total was working fine for last 10yrs. So had to boot to last know good config. Working, and then that was point of my 4th install. Could be a lib error for C++, in a off chance.
  20. I am using this Chrome / Edge Extension called Harpa AI and Kaspersky seems to be messing around with it across all my machines using Kaspersky (different versions). Steps to Replicate problem: 1) I have to EXIT Kaspersky FULLY for Harpa AI Extenstion to work with the paid version of ChatGPT. Remember, I have to EXIT Kaspersky and not just "pause protection". 2) VERY Strangely, with Kaspersky enabled, Harpa AI is working fine with the FREE version of ChatGPT but not with the paid version. Which leaves me in a quandary. What setting do I tweak within Kaspersky? @Flood and Flood's wife Any advice my friend? I want to use it with the PAID Version of ChatGPT.

  22. I always try to not use KavRemover, it usually breaks USB keyboard and mouse drivers, so it would even add a new issue to the current one...
  23. The problem is that I have automatic updates set to run and they are not doing so. I get the windows security tray icon with the yellow blip, open it to see that there are actions recommended in Kaspersky Small Office Security so I open that and it says that databases are out of date and gives me a button that I must click to perform the update. Ultimately I can update KSOS but it requires my user input to click the update button. I want it to happen automatically. This has been an on-going issue for at least the past 3 months and I have entirely uninstalled and reinstalled KSOS in that time. The issue persists. Please help.3

  25. -After patch 21.16.6.467C was automatic installed today i can now export the setting without any error. -avp export c:\....\file -> is working too. -What is the change log saying about this?
