I created a rescue disk and booted the computer (Windows 2K) with it in graphical mode. So far so good Launched Kaspersky Rescue Tool -> Start Scan. Scanned 2 objects , success File System View - File Manager. Click on the windows device on the computer. Is stuck with the spinning wheel of death. Am I supposed to do something? wait?

Hi there guys. I was wondering if you could help answer a couple of questions for me please. Background: I was running Kaspersky rescue disk from USB. My PC has x3 hard drives and multiple different partitions contained on it. (When running Kaspersky rescue disk) The scan box, shows all of my hard drives (and partitions). However the hard drives hare not named in a logical fashion. When I used the terminal to grab the UUID from the HD and partition that I wanted to scan, the alphanumeric characters next to each hard drive / partition. Did not seem to match the UUID of the HDD's themseleves What I wanted to do, was scan 1 particular parttion of 1 hard drive, instead of the entire PC (which is x3 HDD's) and took 5.5 Hrs to complete Questions: 1. Do the alphanumeric strings next to each hard drive, relate to the UUID of the hard drives ? (As they dont appear to) 2. Does Gentoo linux (what Kaspersky rescue disk is based upon), use a different naming scheme for UUID's ? 3. How can I match up each hard drive (icon) and string of characters next to each hard drive, to a UUID / or a specific hard drive or partition ? So that I can just scan, the specific hard drive or partition, instead of the entire PC. TIA for any help or advice

Windows 7 Home Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool третий день, как появилось самопроизвольное срабатывание левой кнопки мыши. Проявляется в web браузере Chrome и Firefox. При движении курсора мыши по активному окну при наведении на активные ссылки или кнопки может произойти нажатие LMB. Так же при запуске игры Warthunder на пробном выезде на технике всё нормально, ложных срабатываний нажатия клавиши мыши не наблюдается. При запуске РБ боёв происходит несанкционированное срабатывание оружия при перемещении мышки по коврику, назначенного на левую кнопку мыши. Предположительно вирус притащил при прослушивании аудиокниги на сайте через браузер. Avast тревоги не поднимает, в системе ничего не находит даже при сканировании на старте windows. DR Web coreIt тоже ничего не нашёл. Так же ничего не находит Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool и Kaspersky Rescue Disk в истории браузера, сайт с которого слушал книгу, найти не получилось. при поиске в истории названия книги, которую слушал через браузер, выдаёт только ссылки на youtobe. Пока писал этот текст при выделении текста в ранее написанном сообщении текст был удалён. произошло несанкционированное форматирование текста. Во время набора текста происходит перемещение курсора по ранее набранному тексту. такая же задница происходит в почтовой программе Mozilla Thunderbird.

2 years ago I created a DVD with the Kaspersky Rescue Disk program. Windows 10 has recently stopped loading. With the help of Kaspersky Rescue Disk, I saved all my data to an external hard drive. After that, I reinstalled Windows 10. When I connected an external hard drive to my laptop, Windows 10 did not find the files that I saved on it with Kaspersky Rescue Disk. After that, I booted the laptop from the Kaspersky Rescue Disk and transferred all the files from the external hard drive to the internal hard drive of the laptop. After that, I started Windows 10 and found that the operating system again does not see the files transferred to the hard drive by the Kaspersky Rescue Disk program. What should I do?

Per Kaspersky Support was going to give the Rescue Disk a whirl. Tried to copy it to CD then went to run it. (Not Kaspersky's fault.) Anyways figured I would give the computer another try while it was turned on and darned if didn't get through all the initial protocol for the new operating system! Not trusting my good fortune I immediately put in Kaspersky in the search bar to download internet security so I'd be prepared. Guess what happened next? You bet! Screen goes to black. Will copy Rescue Disk to thumb drive and try again.

После вынужденного удаления корпоративного KES 11.09 со станции посредством kavremover, после перезагрузки произошла классическая фигня, залочены сеть, USB, звук, etc. Kaspersky Rescue Disk 18 стартует(флешка записанная в режиме ISO, флешка записанная в DD, с внешнего DVD-ROM), выбрать язык даёт, варианты загрузки с полной или ограниченной графикой тоже, вариант с проверкой оборудования тоже, но пройдя все этапы с "ОК" и дойдя до "Starting hwsetup ..." остаётся жить в этом состоянии, шуметь вентилятором, как следствие USB Recovery не запустить. Когда-то давно, была ссылка на архив с ftp://ftp.kasperskyftp.com/consumer-products/Tools/USB_Restore/USBRestore.zip который как раз и содержал все требуемые правки реестра, чтобы всё разлочить, но сейчас недоступно. Быть может у кого сохранилось или подскажите иные варианты спасения. Заранее благодарю! p.s. с разных загрузочных флешек Win-PE грузануться могу спокойно, с других линуксовых тоже. Чтобы сразу отсечь варианты: у меня именно такой ноут и именно такая же ситуация, драйверы видимо с тех пор никто не обновлял. Нужно какое-то другое решение, чтобы всё полностью разлочить. С KSC была запущена задача на обновление с версии 11.9.0.351 на версию 11.10.0.399 На нескольких компьютерах обновление было завершено с ошибкой "Удаленная установка на устройстве завершена с ошибкой: В процессе установки произошла неисправимая ошибка. (Ошибка 27211. Ошибка при включении самозащиты.)" После этого эти компьютеры превратились в кирпич - клавиатура, мышка, сеть не работают, флешки не монтируются., невозможно обновить драйвера, новые устройства не определяются. На некоторых компьютерах проблема решилась через откат к предыдущей удачной загрузке. Но не на всех. Хорошо, что был разъем PS/2. Вначале подключил мышку - не работает. Подключил клавиатуру - заработала. С помощью kavremover удалил остатки программы и наконец-то компьютер ожил. Насколько я понял, при установке Касперский поменял драйвера некоторых устройств на свои, но из-за ошибки во время обновления были установлены не все компоненты. Сам windows уже не мог работать через эти драйвера, а Касперский не запускался. У меня убедительная просьба к разработчикам - сделайте процесс обновления более безопасным. Как пример - при установке первым делом ставится в автозагрузку маленькая программа, которая следит, что при включении компьютера службы касперского запустились удачно, и компьютер нормально функционирует. Если этого не происходит, то через определенное время программа сама запускает kavremover и откатывает все внесенные изменения. Если установка прошла штатно и компьютер после перезагрузки нормально функционирует, то программа удаляется из автозагрузки. Другой пример - перед установкой создать новый пункт в меню выбора системы для загрузки - "откатить установку программы KES". Это также позволит быстро откатить внесенные изменения, если компьютер был превращен в кирпич неудачной установкой. Я бы даже оставил этот пункт на постоянной основе, чтобы можно было легко удалить неработающую программу. Скажу откровенно, для меня это было стрессовой ситуацией, когда одновременно несколько компьютеров оказались в нерабочем состоянии. Людям же надо работать! а тут - на ровном месте - такие проблемы. Непередаваемое ощущение - когда вокруг тебя стоят несколько человек и каждый минуту спрашивают когда починят их компьютеры, потому что у них срочная работа. Я уже и так делаю обновление не более 10-ти компьютеров одновременно. Похоже настало время уменьшить это количество до 1-2. И конечно же - Rescue Disk - наше все. Unable to boot Kaspersky Rescue Disk on my dual boot computer, It seems Kaspersky found and quarantined a Trojan.Win32.Ramnit.dto did lots of updating and cleaning, and i rebooted into Windows7 to find a windows alert that a long file name ending with COMCTL32.dll was missing, and slowly things got worse to the point i could not boot up computer anymore. Ive had and used Kaspersky for over 8 years, never had problems until now. I cant boot anything Windows repair, nor Kaspersky Rescue Disk CD. But i am able to boot Bitdefender Rescue CD, ESET Rescue disk, and Trend Micro Rescue disk CD's. My computer BIOS is Black, but otherwise computer turns on and runs, it just can't boot anything windows or Kaspersky Rescue disk, but seems to be able to boot from some other selective rescue disk CDs, which is very odd and weird...

Greetings, I have Dell OptiPlex (bought in 2023) and have the same exact issue. The blank screen. I think something is wrong with the display of Rescue Disk 18 because after a couple of minutes which new linux shell is loaded, then pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del does not reboot the computer. It is strange to me how come this issue is not resolved yet. I should also add that I cannot run limited graphic or hardware info as well. Regards, Ali

I bought kaspersky total security and got a package with quick start key and a cd My question is what does the CD contain antivirus or rescue disk In quick start guide it is showing that we can install total security form CD and in the same page it is written please used the rescue disk CD which comes in box.

Dann möchte ich Dir noch eine Anfrage im englischen Unterforum Kaspersky Rescue Disk empfehlen. Dort lesen die Entwickler mit und können mit Sicherheit eine passende Antwort geben. Скачайте с сайта Касперского KRD18 с английской страницы (русская перенаправляет на загрузку других продуктов) https://support.kaspersky.com/krd18 Запишите его на флешку, сделав её загрузочной. Запустите с флешки загрузку системы (Linux), дождитесь предложения запустить программу проверки, поставьте 2 галки согласия. Далее обновите антивирусные базы Kaspersky Rescue Disk запустите быструю проверку. При нахождении вирусов на жёском диске выберите - лечение или удаление (копирование в Карантин). Перезагрузитесь. Повторите все действия до начала быстрой проверки. Зайдите в Настройке, снимите установленные галки с папки Windows (вы её уже проверили), выберите Другие и поставьте галки на со 2 до последнего носителя. Это полная проверка всех ваших жёстких дисков. При нахождении вирусов на жёском диске выберите - лечение или удаление (копирование в Карантин). После данного лечения, вероятно, большинство вирусов будет удалено или вылечено. Некоторые детали настройки отчётов, что бы их можно было посмотреть не только при работе KRD18 (по умолчанию отчёты шифруются) можно здесь: Удачи !

Добрый день! Впервые пользовался Kaspersky Rescue Disk. Вирусы убил, сформировал отчет в формате ---.klr.enc1. Как можно просмотреть этот отчёт? Что фиксируется в нем? Его размер подозрительно мал. Возможно ли формировать подробный отчет об обнаруженных вирусах в текстовом виде? Или это называется уже отчет трассировки?

So here’s my question: Does anyone know a method that actually works to create a Kaspersky Rescue Drive? EDIT: I subsequently attempted to create a Kaspersky Rescue Drive on my own using Netbootin. The resulting recovery drive also failed to boot, with the message: “Invalid or corrupt kernel image” Thus, I conclude that the current ISO - KRD 18.0.11.0c built on 08/09/2019 18:25:54 - which I obtained from Kaspersky’s website: https://rescuedisk.s.kaspersky-labs.com/updatable/2018/krd.iso is invalid.

Hello @Spection, Welcome. I don't think it's a really good idea. By sharing access you can scan a lot of files, but KAV will not be able to access the important system files and system drivers. With these it is important that their behavior is also monitored for suspicious actions. There are restrictions from within a VM, which is what a VM is for. If you only want to do an on demand scan, the 'Kaspersky Rescue Disk' might be the better solution. KRD also scans files that you can't reach from the VM. PS: KAV runs well with your firewall. When installing KAV, you can also skip the suggested uninstall.

Тема, как видно по форуму, не новая, но решения, похоже еще нет. Kaspersky Rescue Disk - загружается сначала нормально, но при выборе любого пункта меню (второй экран) ноут виснет и черный экран. На других компьютерах та же флешка работает нормально. Пробовал разные режимы и методы создания флешки, картина не меняется. Ноут Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz Model: 20X2S34G00 (31P20X2S34G00) Надежда есть? А также есть ли коммерческий продукт с такой же функциональностью (Live USB)?

I appreciate your time and reply, thank you. Yes, I have read all Kaspersky instructions and your website link. I am very familiar with using BIOS, and have always had it set to legacy mode, and to boot from a CD/DVD first. I cannot try to see or disable if a UEFI Secure Boot because I cannot access the BIOS. My computer's BIOS at boot, is a Black Screen without any text at all, and the monitor stays in a sleep mode. Otherwise the computer starts up and loads like normal except black, and seems not able to find anything that is Windows. I have tried to use the keys to get into BIOS at startup without any success and it is useless. I have tried to boot with my Retail Windows install CDs, also with Windows Repair Floppy 3.5 disk, and Windows7 repair CD disk, Also with EasyRE CDs, with NO success, none of any Windows repair disks will boot up. So far now, I can boot my computer with only *SELECTIVE* DVD/CDs: Bitdefender rescue disk boots up but i cant get past the PW, Trend Micro Rescue Disk boots up and I was able to run a very long malware check, about 2-3hrs, and i see it checking ALL my WindowsXP3 and Windows7 files as it scans everything, I even tried to reset the MBR, but no change. Then ESET rescue disk boots up and i get a very nice looking UI desktop, and i do selective or all malware scans, plus tools, but so far cant fix problem. This problem started right after Kaspersky found and cleaned the Trojan.Win32.Ramnit.dto Kaspersky did lots of cleaning and updating and requested reboot, after reboot, first the BIOS was missing and only a blue boot menu, then next reboot, no boot menu, Booting was black until it reached 2nd BIOS phase and monitor came on out of a sleep mode just as Windows loaded up, Then after a week nothing was able to load anymore. Now only a few *selective* rescue disks that i mentioned above will boot, and from what i see is these are a ubuntu type.

I have the same problem on my Probook 450 G7 as described in LinkKaspersky rescue disk stopped booting on “setup hwsetup” message. And after that, I was not able to restart the laptop at all! Pressing power button turned it into sleep state and pressing again just recovers laptop to black screen with 100% fan rotating. That is a shame for Kaspersky in my opinion, both that the tool is not starting on laptop that is 1.5 years old and that it blocks laptop from further operation. Thanks to HP there is an option to press power button for 15+ seconds so I was able to rescue from KRD blocking the laptop. p.s. by the way, the KRD initially just did not boot with same diagnosis as described https://github.com/ventoy/Ventoy/issues/65 so I had to set check_signatures=no.
