All I've got are old personal archives from my findings and this onde show is from KS 21.22 but still the unsolved mystery with scans not being saved and registered were acting defective for over two years. (Files are to big to post here) Back in 2024 in attempt to fix a common bug found by others where quick mouse virus scan prompt was not working. The instrunction was to repair or uninstal Kaspersky Standard. Doing that, It did solve this particular problem but my unknow bug remained unresolved. I've managed to survive with annoying bug for months untill KS 21.24 came, making all scans to disappear uppon finishing. So after all the embarassment spend trying understand why this curse never got resolved. I've ended up again in completely uninstal KS and downloading from MY KASPERSKY service account this layest version. Doing that, I've ran the background scan while installing and followed the progression till the end. The scan saved on reports page and I've began to execute many viruses scans to check If they were being saved, and not disappear. After four days putting to test, there have bem registered more than 23x viruses scans and they were all saved at last. Finally! 🙏 I've running now a Full scan like I usually do every week and I Hope Kaspersky co. start managing their updates with more caution and *don't* push newer version anytime soon.

  3. this is the instruction they told me. "Please follow the instructions below for a probable solution regarding your Safe Money issue. 1. Please try changing default browser for Safe Money to a different one and see if the issue persists. Open your Kaspersky Plus app > Privacy > Safe Money settings (click the cogwheel) > look for the "Additional" section" and change the browser > Save. 2. Delete Safe Money browser profile folder and start Safe Money again to create a new folder/profile. Press the Win key + R on your keyboard > type %programdata% and click OK > Kaspersk Lab > delete SafeBrowser > then run a protected browser again. Please note that this will delete your Safe Money list of website entries." ------then i tried to open a website in protected and this end up not working. and i shut down the computer. Again, i received an email the next day, which is today (this is the emailed instruction) "Thank you for your response and for providing those updates. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. I have checked the provided GSI report, but I can't find anything peculiar in it. Before we can propose solution or a workaround to the issue you are experiencing, we would need your assistance to share some additional data for further analysis. 1. Open the main Kaspersky application window. 2. Click Customer Service icon in the lower part of the window. This opens the Customer Service window. 3. Click the Support Tools link to open the Support Tools window. 4. Use the toggle switch to Enable application tracing. To save the changes, click the Save button. 5. Reboot the computer. 6. Proceed to reproduce the issue once the computer is back on. 7. Open the main Kaspersky application window. 8. Click Customer Service icon in the lower part of the window. This opens the Customer Service window. 9. Click the Support Tools link to open the Support Tools window. 10. Use the toggle switch to Disable application tracing. To save the changes, click the Save button. 11. In the Support Tools Window, Click on Create Report. 12. Uncheck Operating System Information 13. Click on Save report on your computer 14. Enter the File Name Traces, save the archive in a location you will remember and click Save. 15. Please send us this Traces archive. today I open the computer, read this email, then i followed 1-5. after that i tried to open a website in protected mode so that it will trace my activity (I think) then it opened successfully in protected mode. tried another website and still opening in protected mode. this is my thought to this. maybe last night when I followed the first two instructions after trying the "safe money" which turned out not working and after i shut it (my thought) something was cleared without knowing. then when i received an email today and followed the instructions then when i tried "safe money" again it successfully opened.
  4. Quick update... Icon does seem to be green on many web sites... but not here on this forum.. May be it "off" for this site as it is Kaspersky's and so is trusted... I dont know.. but it seems to be all good.
  5. Hi I have this issue as well it auto update and then now i cannot launch my vm as ever time it crashes my vm is using Ubuntu

We're on 12.11.0.637 right now It seems like some computers are fixing themselves without having to do anything, while others are suddenly experiencing this issue out of the blue despite working since the update. So now I am not sure what is causing this. One computer that I had previously reinstalled suddenly starting having it again, then after a few restarts it fixed itself. There needs to be a quick way to fix this because users can't be carrying on while their AV is not running correctly. Shouldn't it try to restart protection on it's own?

  8. Hi Flood, Thanks very much for the quick reply. I was searching online for information about core Isolation and found the "On" recommendation but I can't for the life of me remember where. I trust Kaspersky far more than Windows so I will leave it OFF. I wish you a belated Happy New Year. Steven

Irrespective of how frustrated (you) are by a particular Kaspersky feature, there's no need to use abusive language - even in *abbreviated* form - no-one in the Community has OR will speak to (you) in that manner.     Still Broken

    This is exactly what I tried to explain to Kaspersky support. They have changed their system (just after my yearly renewal), now my vpn is useless. And I have to go through all kind of steps, including installing a debug variant of VPN, send all kinds of reports, which I have to dig up in the android folders somewhere. I am not willing to invest my valuable time in this proces, so I decided to wait a few weeks, and then move to another VPN option. I am tired of providers who think they can launch new software/updates without taking responsability of thorough testing. I am not a test dummy!

Details The recommended text editor is nano, below is a quick tutorial on how to use it if you are using it for the first time. Configure kdump Altlinux There is no kdump-tools package in the default repository, so it has to be downloaded from the sisyphus repository: Go to https://packages.altlinux.org/en/sisyphus/srpms/kdump-tools/ In List of rpms provided by this srpm select the kdump-tools package for the required architecture (can be checked by running uname -m) Download the package from the Download link Install it by running apt-get update && apt-get install <path to the downloaded rpm> After that, follow the Debian instruction from Edit /etc/default/kdump-tools step Red Hat based distributions (tested on Fedora 38, Rocky Linux 9, Red OS) Install kexec-tools sudo dnf install kexec-tools Edit /etc/kdump.conf. In the configuration file edit the core_collector setting: option -d should be set to 17 instead of 31 Edit /etc/default/grub. Edit GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX, add crashkernel=256M to reserve enough RAM for the dump kernel to run, and nmi_watchdog=1, to capture a dump in case of a system hang Run sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg Reboot Enable kdump service sudo systemctl enable --now kdump.service Debian based distributions (tested on Debian, Astra CE, Alt Linux) Install kdump-tools sudo apt update && sudo apt install kdump-tools -y Edit /etc/default/kdump-tools. Reboot or run sudo sysctl --system After the set up above is complete, to manually trigger a dump press Alt+SysRq, Alt+C. Alternatively: echo 8 | sudo tee /proc/sys/kernel/sysrq (Command above is only needed if kernel.sysrq is not set in /etc/sysctl.conf) echo c | sudo tee /proc/sysrq-trigger Location of the dump files may vary between different Linux versions, it is configurable in the kdump configuration file. In Debian based distributions it is set by KDUMP_COREDIR variable. In Red Hat based distributions it is set by the path setting, generally the default location is /var/crash.   12. red and green, its looking pretty festive here 🎄🍻 um so quick updates: they asked if the failed DNS site lookup happens with other sites then dnsleaktest.com, personally idk but it happens consistently with that site. i tested 10 servers for them and they still fail to find the site. i tried another vpn looking up dnsleaktest.com and it works fine. i updated the vpn again, and noticed the first go with selecting the fastest server puts me across the world, then after connecting to a closer server then trying the fastest server works properly. they asked if its the ISP i said i dont have the luxury to test that, but I gave them a link to this forum again where others have confirmed its not the ISP. 🙃happy holidays🫡
  13. Montreal servers feel great, quick loads no hiccups on youtube. 🥳 a bit quicker then Toronto imo, but maybe due to many normal factors. I Still get time outs where youtube tries to run an add and shows the page is not available but i think thats because of my adblock web extension Ublock Origin on firefox.

  15. Thanks for reply. Is it safe ? I've been playing these games with Kaspersky running for months now and never had a problem until yesterday when a Quick Scan suddenly detected it. Quick scan only detects when I run the game. After closing the game, quick scan cannot detect. I did a full scan and it said there was nothing wrong with my PC. Do I need to send a report to Kaspersky support?
  16. I have had this issue yesterday, but now it connects again. Still, it is really slow and unstable. Not sure how it fixed, just did it by itself. I think it just has to do with the infrastructure updates not being fully tested and complete. They must have rushed this update so quick, hence all the issues. Hopefully something official comes up.
  17. My family has been using Kaspersky for years and there were no problems. But after updating our family's subscription yesterday Kaspersky Plus is no longer launching on my PC. I gives me an error message about "Microsoft .net failed to initialize" which started today. Never had this issue before. There were some "The prior start of the program failed, do you want to send a report." message and i did send reports but nothing ever came from this. Today Kaspersky Plus does no longer launch at all. It keeps crashing during the launch process. I know there is a multitude of different posts about this issue over the years but NONE of the solutions there did jackshit for me. I'm on Windows 11 Version 25H2. My computer is the only Windows 11 one and the only one with this issue. I tried the repair tool for Microsoft .net which didn't help. I tried reinstalling Microsoft .net which didn't help. I tried installing other versions which didn't help. Nothing does anything. And the ONLY programm with this issue is Kaspersky...

    It's pretty useless to scan password-protected archives via VirusTotal.🙂 For a quick solution, you can try to configure an exception, as shown in the screenshot (don't forget to save the changes). Perhaps you may need to add something else to the exceptions.
  19. I have my file manager windows app blocked from network activity. But using that file manager I have some url shortcut files, as bookmarks to those websites. If my windows default web browser is not currently running then clicking the file will launch the browser but Kaspersky blocks it. Even though the browser is network allowed. If I run my browser first then copy over the url into the box it isn't blocked. This happens with any kind of file where I want the program not to connect to the internet but if it runs a file that I want to connect it won't. How can I allow url shortcuts to pass but keep the file manager blocked? Same with updating software. I wish that for my apps I can "Check For Updates" and Kaspersky will allow it, but that's the only thing it will allow.
  20. Hi there, Since a few days, I'm not able to launch the secured navigation. I have the message "impossible to launch the secure navigation". I restart my computer a few times but the problem remains the same. Does anyone has the same issue or can help resolve this problem ? My computer is running under W11. Thanks for your feedback JD

Dear Community We have a requirements on Kaspersky Embedded System Security for Windows When Application Control policy is applied: -- Group policy access should be denied -- Power-shell disable / no one can access power-shell. -- Registry & Control Panel access denied -- Portable application block *Please share the extension list which will be blocked by KESS (like, .exe, .bat etc) When Device Control policy is applied: Block all USB drive except keyboard & mouse & SATA drive except preinstalled HDD & DVD (if any). We want to know are these requirements can be complied by KESS and if complied how can we do that , how can we do the configuration any support articles available. Regards Ahnaf Tahmeed
  23. Did you find a solution? I have the same problem. Clients receive a critical alert because KES is not working, and when trying to launch the application through KES, this error appears. When the client computer is restarted, the problem is resolved. However, I would like to resolve the issue causing KES to fail and stop. As shown in the attached image, out of almost 200 computers, four are experiencing the same problem. This occurs daily on different computers. If I restart these four computers now, tomorrow there will be other computers with the same problem.
  24. Hi. First time using kaspersky premium and I am still learning the ins and outs. How do I disable the feature of where kaspersky keep asking me for permission to allow apps to access registry? While I appreciate the security tightness, it get very tedious to click allow every time I boot my pc or launch an app that I know and trusted. Cheers! :D Picture below.

The article You’ve shared refers only to hardware and software requirements for macOS versions up to 15, while this report concerns a confirmed reproducible issue on macOS 26.0.1 (Tahoe, build 25A362). After detailed analysis, I’ve identified the exact cause — the new XPC handling in macOS 26 interferes with the com.kaspersky.kpm.bl.resolver endpoint. This results in Kaspersky Password Manager freezing immediately after launch. Removing or resetting that endpoint restores full functionality and stability. I would kindly ask You to forward this finding to the macOS development team so that it can be validated and patched in an upcoming release. Including this fix or a related note in the official documentation could also help other users who may experience the same issue.
