Thanks again and here are the screen shots from my kid's PC with his login I have also noticed a glitch of the safe kids, my kid play the minecraft game and what he get away from safe kids is: 1, launch the feather or any other launcher - this cannot 100% stopped because safe kids applies minute allowed time or even I set it as forbidden 2, within 1 minutes, login the game and play 3, after 1 minute limit, the launcher will be stopped but game goes on -

Hello @Mexican Rose, Welcome back! We agree, using the virtual keyboard *all* the time would drive us batty. Please share the actual error details, what exactly happens when (you're) blocked? Does the issue(s) happen in every browser: Chrome, Edge, FireFox? So we don't waste (your) time asking (you) to do stuff Kaspersky already asked (you) to do, share with us what they asked of (you) please? Are there errors in Kaspersky Reports OR do alerts show in the Kaspersky Plus main window OR in the Windows Notification centre? Please post back? Thank you? Flood?+? -

I too am being blocked from accessing certain sites that are very important to me. I've tried "pausing protection" but that doesn't resolve the issue. I have to keep changing passwords in order to get access, but the trick to that also is that to actually gain access, I must use the virtual keyboard which I feel is ridiculous. I have reported these difficulties to Kaspersky but unfortunately for me what they ask me to do with beyond my realm. It's far too technical for me!. I'm using Kaspersky Plus. I must say in all honesty that if these issues persist, I shall go to another provider for my laptop's protection. I have removed the program, then reinstalled however; the issue still exists. I would appreciate assistance & thank you in advance. -

Hi Flood and Flood's wife, Thanks again and here is my comments with more details ? 1, Apologies, is Safari browser being used by *default*, IF no, it should be! (not Safe browser, we were working on a Safe browser issue at the same time as working on (your) issue, we're so sorry!). --- my kid does not use Sarari, he uses Chrome, OperGX etc. 2, We understand the reports may not be accurately reflecting time used but *to set your expectations - we are not at the end - yet* - It is not just not accurate, it is not working at all. I have tried to deleted the old profile, created a new "Kid" and set up from step one and as of today, the result remains the same, on the ThinkBook15 (windows 11 Pro) there is no record at all, but my kid told me he used the ThinkBook15 for over an hour for homework. This windows PC is actually my main concern as Safe Kids is all I have, unlike the IOS, I have screen time as back up. The main reason to purchase safe kids is mainly for Windows based system, and it gets really frustrating now ? 3, *Please answer from (our) previous post* - how is Settings -> in APPLICATION MONITORING configured - Allowed, Forbidden or Restricted? They are set up differently per category, a quick screenshot is below 4,For *iOS*, when the install was done & *Screen Time* was configured, was the instruction at the very bottom of the page followed: How to set up Kaspersky Safe Kids using the Screen Time API after updating to version 1.87.0.XXX ? IF *no* - it must be done! Thanks, I will go through these instructions, but for all IOS systems, I have no problems I will uninstall the safe kids on the ThinkBook and re-install again, see how it goes. -

Hi Flood and Flood's wife, Thank you so much for your reply, it explains very clearly. I think there is something wrong with my "safe Kids" Before I post the reply this morning, I did a manual updates via CMC command - sucessful I did a quick test with my child's account for few minutes, it seems correct. However, when I came back this evening and re-check something is wrong. Firstly, I connected my child's iPhone to safe kids - installed the app - signed in and chose "this device is used by children" now there is apparently an error for the usage time "19 Hours and 40 Min" that is impossible but I will come back to re-check, it could because the iPhone was just added in For the Thinkbook usage (4min) that is inaccurate as well because I know my child did his homework project for at least 30 minutes between 4pm - 5:30pm and that is not recorded. For the internet -> Frequently visited websites, I am pretty sure there should be more than 2 records and one of them is visited by myself in the morning testing -

same issue here, the reporting seems broken and very hard for parents to understand and use, I just manually updated safekids via CMD command 4th/Sep morning ( no idea why it cannot be done automatically) I have also did a quick test - using the kid's pc with kid's login (windows 11 laptop x64) and then the Internet report reports still stuck on 24/aug./2024 and there is no useful information at all, as I am sure kids visited much more websites than the report for his school report. When going to "Device use" - Reports page, the 3 min testing usage is there but no details of what webpages were visited -

Quick Startup has a *limited* list of applications because it's *only* those apps that are starting at boot time -> Kaspersky has designed the Quick Startup tool to enable users to disable any apps in the list that are not essential & or not run daily, that's why it says: Speed up computer at start-up -> please read: Quick Startup. In (your) computer - is there an application that's starting at start-up, that's not listed ? IF 'yes', please provide more details, name of the app, version? Which Kaspersky software version? On Windows taskbar *hidden icons*, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About? Which Windows 10 & Build, in Windows Search, type WINVER, select the app & post back the winver information please? The change that (you're) proposing would need to be submitted via a Feedback, I have a suggestion OR I have a complaint *but* first, let's try to understand a little more about the issue by providing more information please? I’m wondering if it’s possible to prevent an application from starting with Windows by double-clicking on it in the Kaspersky > Performance > Current Activity > Startup tab and then adjusting the application rules. The default options provided under Performance > Quick Startup have a limited list of applications to control, so I’m curious if it’s possible to manage applications through the Startup tab. -
"Temporarily unavailable" warning when connecting to VPN in public places

Hi. I always get this warning when I'm at a coffee shop or elsewhere when I launch the app before connecting to a Wifi. After I connect, the warning persists a bit longer before the slider becomes interactable again so I can activate the VPN. So, the problem is VPN is off during this time. Does this compromise my privacy? I used a browser-based VPN before and didn't encounter this. If this is indeed something that should be implemented, maybe the team can work on this? -

If you're experiencing an on-screen keyboard bug, try restarting your device, checking for software updates, and toggling the keyboard off and on. If the issue persists, test in Safe Mode, or reinstall keyboard drivers. If necessary, run a system file check (Windows) or reset keyboard settings. -

BTW i tried reproduce but in mine case all working perfectly (i dont have english keyboard) so i must first click on shift and then i see numbers. But there was no problem maybe only on some PCs or english keyboards... -

Addional Information to my earlier post: Windows 11 Home Edition, Ver 23H2, build 22631.4037 Kaspersky Plus version 21.18.5.438 (a) HP17 AMD Ryzen 5500U Problen first noticed 24/8/24 After clearing all Kaspersky related folders, registry & leftovers I did several re-instals with and without my saved settings. Each time the keyboard works normally until the computer is next restarted when it reverts with the same problem. Thank you -
OS: Windows 8.1Pro Product: Total Internet Security Started to get the .NET 4.5 Framework not found when Kaspersky was trying to launch. Assume this was part of an automatic update. As a result found that 4.8.1 is installed when i run both the .NET repair tool and try to install .NET 4.5 Framework. Please can you advise how to correct this issue. Thanks

Kaspersky blocking logitech keyboard-macro

So I have a Logitech-macro on my left mousebutton that I use in games and it worked fine before I installed kaspersky. Now whenever I'm ingame the macro does not work anymore, I've created exceptions for Logitech-GHUB and the game (Tarkov), but still the macro won't work. :( -
I am in the process of completely automating the installation of KTS. However I am facing some issues that require your help: I'm writing to you to notify you that in a clean-installed Windows environment I was able to install KTS thru the a batch script. However, I am also having some issues with perfecting my script: 1) If I do not have an activation code, but instead wish to use the trial period for KTS, how do I change the code? Instead of "ACTIVATIONCODE=VALUE", what do I type? 2) For KTS, I find "/qBundleKSDE_DisableInstallIntegration=1" does not prevent Kaspersky VPN from being installed on the system. I do not want Kaspersky VPN. My workaround thus far is to uninstall it via code inside the batch script. 3) After running the batch script, I find that KTS isn't auto-launched, I must launch it manually. And then I am taken to the "Do you wish to walk through the tutorial" screen, I have to manually click "Skip", then manually click on the "Use KTS Trial" option to activate the "Trial" for KTS and then I have to manually update KTS to the latest database. Thank you guys for your feed back. I already tried to find the delete the files / email s by selecting: Open containing folder, HOWEVER I can not see / find the emails in there. If I look directly in TB in the inbox or junk folder the emails are not there either. What does this all mean? Are these malicious files gone, as I can not find them and the Kasp[ersky Plus is just some kind of error message, showing malicious files, although they are not present anymore? What would be a quick fix? Just to click on: IGNORE? -

Symptoms OS hang, sometimes with open file errors in journals Customer application degrades with errors "unable to open file", "too many open files" Hangs and third-party (compatibility) issues often require advanced data collection and are sophisticated to investigate. However, a quick check is possible: On a system where KESL has worked for some time (not immediately after reboot/restart), validate the output of the following command, ran as root, for numerous records of /usr/bin or /usr/sbin folders lsof | grep -E 'kesl.+DIR.+\/usr\/s?bin' Root Cause Under heavy load, KESL may display linear increase in file descriptors usage (sysctl - fs.file-nr) up to system-wide limit (sysctl - fs.file-max) and eventually degradation. Workaround Schedule restart of KESL service every week/day, depending on intensity of descriptors growth. NB: KESL restart will also reset progress of certain tasks like "malware scan" and "database update". Schedule KESL restart outside of tasks timeframes. Solution This issue was fixed in KESL 12.1.0.1274, so an update to that or newer version should fix it.-

@espresso I would turn on KSN on Kaspersky mobile Antivirus (for better and quick detection) and also for windows pc.. Simply with ksn enabled there is much more increased detection of viruses. I mean much more samples etc.... Because cloud. -

The notification part I've point out, I mean in the windows notification center not in the kaspersky app. I've removed the "Risk tool in object field & replaced with asterisk. Removed File hash & replaced with asterisk. Saved above settings and run a quick scan & I got the desired outcome I was looking for, results are below. ? I've gone through the below articles to understand how to add an exclusion, but i was confused with creating name masks, objects, filehash & protection components. One question regarding unninstalling procedure as a last resource to workaround for any bug when Kaspersky app get these annual versions. When I merged my Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391(l) to Kaspersky Standard 21.17.7.539(e), I did not face any issue except for future versions of the app. Then upon KS 21.17.7.539(i) there have been unknown bugs related to report window not registering some virus scans or rootkit scan but then it would happen occasionally that issue. But Antispam was there, Kaspersky quick menu context was working as well the welcome message in introduction display was ensuring safety. Now Kaspersky Standard 21.18.5.438(a) do not ensure me much quality about these bugs and for reducing the package, recently acquired for purchasing Kaspersky Standard license. If I run the procedure to uninstall the whole KS suite and install directly the executable from My Kaspersky management center. Will that bring back Kaspersky scan menu context along with that second function to verify the certification? And what if I decide to wait untill Kaspersky Standard 21.18 update to a newer version ''KS 21.18.5.438(b)'' will this issue among others pointed out by other their user data. Are they going to be fixed if I decide to wait for a newer version to come up? -
