  1. Thank you for your reply. But it is too late. I tried to uninstall it. It would not let me. And after that, it appeared that the Total Security was trying to launch the application as it said it had been for days. It would not allow me any access to internet. Not Chrome or Edge. Not to my email. So I took it off to the computer folks. Something that Kaspersky did all on its own, nothing that I initiated by anything. Although I made it worse by trying to uninstall it. Appreciate you input. I had already put 5 hours into it trying to solve and reading in the forums and for solutions. Time for the pros to try to fix it.
  2. Thank you all for the replies! Yes, I have installed the latest version of VLC media player from the original site. I have now manually removed the files using “Remove from quick access” RM B option and the files didn’t appear afterwords. I couldn’t access the files as there was no file in the said location (C:\Users\xxxxx\OneDrive\Desktop) therefore, Im afraid the files are not there anymore. I have KIS2020 installed in my PC.     Certain sites fail to open in Safe Money [Solved][Closed]

    FLOOD: The steps I use to access these sites: I open Chrome, which opens my default tabs. I click New Tab and then click links to each of my bank links (see attached image). This is turn should launch each of the sites in Safe Money. Here is the image of the Safe Money Settings page
  4. @BJayakody did you run any particular application prior to those links show up in the Quick Access?   5. Kaspersky rescue disk is a great tool that I have been using for a while. However, in my new computer, it fails to detect network adapters. Attached is the hardware related information. Please, let me know if is there a quick parameter fix I could work on. Cheers, Filipe

    Error 1306 [Closed]

    I had an issue to launch KIS 2019. It keeps "Loading the application" like foreeever. And i tried to uninstall the KIS 2019, and got a message Error 1306. Due to this matter, i'm planning to a downgrade my KIS 2019 to KIS 2017 that is more stable. My question is : How to uninstall KIS 2019 due to this error 1306? How to keep my license and save it for my next KIS 2017? Thank you

I did try it with an old USB2 and a CD-RW. >Did you use fresh Gentoo live cd? I did use Hybrid ISO (https://bouncer.gentoo.org/fetch/gentoo-20160704-livedvd/amd64/) LiveDVD but i created the image onto a USB Stick with Rufus. Worked fine, and the strange thing is, looks like its a Version of 2016. Means i did use the Live-DVD like an normal OS. >Debian without nonfree-firmware hangs on boot too or has other problems? Yes, hangs on boot similar behavior just with a different error, there was just one line “[2.332949] failed to find cpu0 device node” >Do you use BIOS RAID feature? No, 1 SSD, 1 HD but no Raid feature enabled. The settings of the screenshots were default execpt the XHCI Handoff, i changed it but same error. I also did try to change the Legacy Mode with the result that i had to reset the BIOS to default (cause he didn’t detect my Keyboard anymore). Kind regards bern
  8. Now even without interactive protection, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tajpi" in the exclusions and "Tajpi.exe" in Trusted (Application Control) group I cannot launch the application...

  11. Hi Flood, I cannot find the mail I got from Kaspersky Support any more. I switched from Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird, exported the mails but somehow some of them got lost. Right it works in IE, I never use that browser and it does not work in Edge. Firefox is certainly not my favourite brower, Stubborn he ...... It worked before in Chrome and the ticket from support is still open since end May but they remain silent. The only workaround is still to use the on screen keyboard.
  12. Hi FLOOD, In one of your replies above you have added an image of an input ex. of usename and password with "secure input" enabled in chrome. Was that with KIS 2020?And the latest version of chrome? You talked about a tiny keyboard icon that popup, but did the secure input icon also popup? I don't understand it should work at your site because kaspersky support told me that the cause it does not work is at technical base namely the development of chrome does not allow it anymore.
  13. Hi Flood Thanks for the quick response IE and Edge work fine. It just seems to be Firefox that is causing the problem. Hadn’t noticed it before as I only from IE to Firefox as my default browser about 3 months ago.

    Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. Right now, I have decided to do some testing at my end just to check whether the problem is indeed from Kaspersky Internet Security or whether there is a problem at my end. Before uploading files, I will pause/disable the protection, and see whether the problem still remains or not. If the problem still remains, then definitely there is something wrong at my end; and if after pausing/disabling the protection, I am able to upload the files without any problems, then definitely there is something wrong in Kaspersky Internet Security settings and then I will get back to you.     Hi, Thanks for quick response. Here is the information that you requested: 1. Microsoft Windows XP Professional x86 Service Pack 3 Build 2600, 32 bits 2. Kaspersky Internet Security 19.0.0.1088 (l) 3. I am a home-based worker and my job involves uploading files to the server of the company through company's application/software. Also, in Threats and Exclusion settings under Exclusions, I have specified trusted applications as well as added exclusions too. 4. While uploading files to company server, I am getting messages like unable to load, and after 2-3 attempts, I am able to upload the files, sometimes the file uploads without any problems and sometimes not. Previously able to upload the files without any problems and this problem has started recently. Just want to check whether Kaspersky is causing this issue or there is some other problem. 5. No uploading through browsers.
  20. Hello SupR-Pingou, Thank you. The Lab may take a few days to get back to you. As the issue started when KIS19 was installed we know it's not due to KIS20, we also know KIS20 hasn't fixed it. (a) If you haven't done so already, please set up Time Machine. (b) Please close all apps (not KIS), before doing the following: Select: Go To Folder in Finder’s Go menu (or select keyboard shortcut Shift (⇧)—Command (⌘)—G ) paste the full path ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.itunes in the field, select Go button. Hold the Command (⌘) key while selecting the fsCachedData folder and SubscriptionPlayCache folder, then release the key and select Move to Trash from the Finder’s File menu (alternatively, select Command (⌘)—Backspace (⌫) ). Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in ~/Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Open each folder, delete everything, Note: Deleting contents NOT the folders. Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in /Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Select Shut Down from Apple menu . Restart MAC, login, make sure KIS is active Retest iTunes If the issue persists, please collect data using KL Logs Gather tool for Mac OS and upload to INC000010850829, along with the data and images you've collected (here).   21. Thanks for the reply. I ran into a problem very quickly. I don''t have reports under more tools. I do have a reports button on the front page, along with Scan, Database Update and On-Screen Keyboard.
  22. If I could join this conversation, I’m having the same problems. What’s really annoying is that I scanned the program (with KIS) before executing it, and also asked Kaspersky for its opinion. Neither came up with errors. I don’t know why ImgBurn has Fusion.dll - I already have 8 copies of it on my PC!     Hello kenfromcanada, Thanks for posting back. Why have you chosen Don't Ask and Always Switch? My image may have mislead you, sorry, I showed the options for you to chose the setting you wished to have, as I don't know if you do or don't wish to use Tablet Mode "ever". If you never wish to use Tablet Mode, the settings should be: Tablet Mode OFF Don't ask & don't switch. Regarding the processes, it's important to verify the starting location of any process being queried. Diagnostics Tracking or DiagTracK (Windows) service, runs automatically, sends data to Microsoft. I disable DiagTracK, (imo) MS have more than enough (of my) data. SettingSyncHost.exe, must be C:\Windows\System32, Windows core system file, synchronises system settings, between devices WirelessKB850NotificationService.exe - must be C:\Windows\System32, MS Mouse & Keyboard software. Must be signed by MS. Regarding OneSyncSvc_5ff70 - Sync Host_5ff70, please post an image of this, including Properties. Thank you.

Please post the full, complete detection details. Full file name, full path, full location, detection verdict. Post screenshot of Reports > Detailed reports > Detected objects. Main Kaspersky window > More Tools > Reports > upper right > Detailed reports > at the upper left, drop down from All Events to Detected objects. How to take and post screenshot: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/diagnostics/492 PrtSc (Print screen) key (upper right part of keyboard)> open Paint (Start > All programs > Accessories) > Edit > Paste, File > Save as (jpeg or png, Not bmp). When replying, bottom left of reply box > Drag files here to attach, or choose files... Submit reply.

Having a quick look at Facebook/VPN topics, this comes up: quote The irony here is that people who use VPN services to protect their online identity can find themselves locked out of their Facebook accounts BECAUSE they're on a VPN. Yes, a VPN can sometimes trigger Facebook's security protocols and get you locked out of your own account. end quote Once you’ve re-established the Facebook account access you need to engage with the Facebook Team, ask them what are their rules, what happens, when a VPN is used?
