Hi Flood Thanks for the quick response IE and Edge work fine. It just seems to be Firefox that is causing the problem. Hadn’t noticed it before as I only from IE to Firefox as my default browser about 3 months ago.

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. Right now, I have decided to do some testing at my end just to check whether the problem is indeed from Kaspersky Internet Security or whether there is a problem at my end. Before uploading files, I will pause/disable the protection, and see whether the problem still remains or not. If the problem still remains, then definitely there is something wrong at my end; and if after pausing/disabling the protection, I am able to upload the files without any problems, then definitely there is something wrong in Kaspersky Internet Security settings and then I will get back to you. Hi, Thanks for quick response. Here is the information that you requested: 1. Microsoft Windows XP Professional x86 Service Pack 3 Build 2600, 32 bits 2. Kaspersky Internet Security 19.0.0.1088 (l) 3. I am a home-based worker and my job involves uploading files to the server of the company through company's application/software. Also, in Threats and Exclusion settings under Exclusions, I have specified trusted applications as well as added exclusions too. 4. While uploading files to company server, I am getting messages like unable to load, and after 2-3 attempts, I am able to upload the files, sometimes the file uploads without any problems and sometimes not. Previously able to upload the files without any problems and this problem has started recently. Just want to check whether Kaspersky is causing this issue or there is some other problem. 5. No uploading through browsers. -

Hi, Unfortunately, the provided GSI doesn't contain information that we need. Could you please provide full GSI archive with Event logs. If the error appears with NTFS path, please set UNC path to this folder. If in both cases the error is returned, you should set permission on this folder correctly this command can be executed. After this command processes without an error, you should launch KSC Backup Task using whether NTFS path or UNC Path (i.e. those path by which this command runs without errors) Thank you! -

Yes, hangs on boot similar behavior just with a different error, there was just one line “[2.332949] failed to find cpu0 device node” >Do you use BIOS RAID feature? No, 1 SSD, 1 HD but no Raid feature enabled. The settings of the screenshots were default execpt the XHCI Handoff, i changed it but same error. I also did try to change the Legacy Mode with the result that i had to reset the BIOS to default (cause he didn’t detect my Keyboard anymore). Kind regards bern

If I could join this conversation, I’m having the same problems. What’s really annoying is that I scanned the program (with KIS) before executing it, and also asked Kaspersky for its opinion. Neither came up with errors. I don’t know why ImgBurn has Fusion.dll - I already have 8 copies of it on my PC! If it's not running, it's not protecting anything. I think the recommended setting would be to launch the task at program start. Then it will be started and keep running after KSFSW launches.

Having a quick look at Facebook/VPN topics, this comes up: quote The irony here is that people who use VPN services to protect their online identity can find themselves locked out of their Facebook accounts BECAUSE they're on a VPN. Hi Flood, I cannot find the mail I got from Kaspersky Support any more. I switched from Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird, exported the mails but somehow some of them got lost. Right it works in IE, I never use that browser and it does not work in Edge. Firefox is certainly not my favourite brower, Stubborn he ...... It worked before in Chrome and the ticket from support is still open since end May but they remain silent. The only workaround is still to use the on screen keyboard. -

Hello everyone, Chrome managed by your organisation. I have just done a fresh Windows installation after I grew suspicious of my system's behavior. My virus- and malware programs never detected anything strange. After install I looked for a new free reliable virusscanner and came across Kaspersky Security Cloud. Today I noticed that in Chrome's tools option it says ‘managed by your organisation’ . A quick google search indicates this might be malware, as it is my home PC and I am not part of a network/organisation. Visiting the link chrome://management/ shows the same message. Should I be worried, or is this part of the Kaspersky Protection chrome extension which I agreed to install? How to fix it? Thanks in advance. -
My Kaspersky is not working correctly. Safe money does not work. Total security says the application is loading. Has for days.

Thank you for your reply. But it is too late. I tried to uninstall it. It would not let me. And after that, it appeared that the Total Security was trying to launch the application as it said it had been for days. It would not allow me any access to internet. Not Chrome or Edge. Not to my email. So I took it off to the computer folks. Something that Kaspersky did all on its own, nothing that I initiated by anything. Although I made it worse by trying to uninstall it. Appreciate you input. I had already put 5 hours into it trying to solve and reading in the forums and for solutions. Time for the pros to try to fix it. -

Hi FLOOD, In one of your replies above you have added an image of an input ex. of usename and password with "secure input" enabled in chrome. Was that with KIS 2020?And the latest version of chrome? You talked about a tiny keyboard icon that popup, but did the secure input icon also popup? I don't understand it should work at your site because kaspersky support told me that the cause it does not work is at technical base namely the development of chrome does not allow it anymore. -

BTW Flood , how could you get the amount of files scanned by Rootkit scan ? I have no problem getting them for quick or Full, but I cant seems to be able to find a way for the rootkit scan , the only thing I can get is the time taken , or the start and finish time -

Flood, Your test showed that the 2 scans are pretty similar . Confirming Yuri’s explanations . Following our last exchange I reset KSC Free to the default configuration just to start with a fresh set up, than I checked the box enabling the rootkit scan , rootkit scan being the same than quick scan but using less ressources , and I scheduled a full scan weekly. Thats it I wont play with it anymore . Once again merci Flood for this interesting exchange :-) -

FLOOD: The steps I use to access these sites: I open Chrome, which opens my default tabs. I click New Tab and then click links to each of my bank links (see attached image). This is turn should launch each of the sites in Safe Money. Here is the image of the Safe Money Settings page -

I had an issue to launch KIS 2019. It keeps "Loading the application" like foreeever. And i tried to uninstall the KIS 2019, and got a message Error 1306. Due to this matter, i'm planning to a downgrade my KIS 2019 to KIS 2017 that is more stable. My question is : How to uninstall KIS 2019 due to this error 1306? How to keep my license and save it for my next KIS 2017? Thank you

Rootkit scan štarte Every Day and checking critical plces where should be hidden rootkits. I enable it and checking Everyday 8 minute scaning few tousend files 8000... For safety Let it enabled. Full scan and Quick scan are different scan. -

Dennis , thanks for the link … so for what I understood from Yuri is that KSC gave us the option of scheduled quick scan but the protection would be the same with or without . So if we just install KSC as is , and forget about the scheduling option or else we are fully protected and most of the options are redundancy of what is already running automatically behind the scene . Looks a lot like the approach choosen by Bitdefender free . Install and forget . KSC also let us choose install and forget but also left few options for us to play with however the more I read about it the more I am encline to just return KSC to default setting ( adding only a full scan a month ) and forget about it , like I was doing with Bitdefender free when I tried it … Need to say that I came back to KSC form Bit free and that I am satisfied with KSC not that I feel much more secure , but I like the fact that KSC let us know what is happening behind the scene , something lacking badly with Bit free. Thanks KSC for this free and excellent product -

Now even without interactive protection, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tajpi" in the exclusions and "Tajpi.exe" in Trusted (Application Control) group I cannot launch the application... -

Hello SupR-Pingou, Thank you. The Lab may take a few days to get back to you. As the issue started when KIS19 was installed we know it's not due to KIS20, we also know KIS20 hasn't fixed it. (a) If you haven't done so already, please set up Time Machine. (b) Please close all apps (not KIS), before doing the following: Select: Go To Folder in Finder’s Go menu (or select keyboard shortcut Shift (⇧)—Command (⌘)—G ) paste the full path ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.itunes in the field, select Go button. Hold the Command (⌘) key while selecting the fsCachedData folder and SubscriptionPlayCache folder, then release the key and select Move to Trash from the Finder’s File menu (alternatively, select Command (⌘)—Backspace (⌫) ). Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in ~/Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Open each folder, delete everything, Note: Deleting contents NOT the folders. Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in /Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Select Shut Down from Apple menu . Restart MAC, login, make sure KIS is active Retest iTunes If the issue persists, please collect data using KL Logs Gather tool for Mac OS and upload to INC000010850829, along with the data and images you've collected (here).
