Hi, Pease use kavremover utility to crean KES remains from previous installation, download new installation package (https://support.kaspersky.com/kes11#downloads) and launch installation once again. If the installation fail again please provide us with GSI log from that host. -
URL advisor is enabled in my KIS 2020 but there is no extension called url advisor in my firefox.

Hello @display10, Thank you for replying and the image👏 Yes, you have the Kaspersky Protection addon installed👌 “secure keybord input” working is good✅, however, a heads up, according to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support, Sent: Tuesday, 15 October 2019 15:44 “the “secure keybord input” feature requires script injection by Kaspersky, we have received news that Mozilla will be applying a restriction in Firefox, resulting in the loss of the virtual keyboard icon.” The Lab have not provided an ETA for this change. (A) Referring to your image, please select the 3 horizontal dots, that will show you the Kaspersky Protection addon version and will show if Kaspersky Protection addon has “permission” to run in Private browser? (B) Also, please select/open the small (Kaspersky) green shield, in the top of the FireFox browser - highlighted red, please post an image for me? (C) Please show an image of KIS AntiBanner settings? (D) Please show an image of KIS Web AntiVirus settings? (E) May I have an image please, of a “search for Kaspersky Community”, refer my image: Please post back? Thank you🙏 -
wifi, it literally disappeared. after downloading kaspersky?

i just dont believe how stupid this is. i downloaded kaspersky last night, and did a quick scan. after that, i continued watching YT videos. but not long after, the wifi stopped working on my laptop. it said “connected, no internet”. i asked my family members if they had the same problem, they didn’t. so obviously it wasnt the wifis fault, it was my laptops fault. so i decided to disconnect and reconnect. but, the wifi thing disappeared entirely. even in the settings, i couldnt find anything related to wifi, it literally disappeared. restarting the laptop helped, but this happens atleast twice a day. i even uninstalled kaspersky (which LITERALLY took me hours), but the problem is still there. i’ve never had this problem until i downloaded kaspersky. any help? -

TouchPal Keyboard internet search not blocked by KSK

KSK is unable to block access to the internet done through the search function within the TouchPal keyboard, KSK blocking of Bing, Google and it's variants has no affect. This is a major failure with KSK since the internet can be accessed without limitations regardless of the KSK blocking settings. -

Keyboard and Mouse Lag with Windows 10 Pro

Thank you for your responses. For the time being I have gone with richbuff’s option 2 and referred the problem to support, though I’ve not provided a GSI as I assume that I would need to reinstall Kapersky before doing so and I’m currently trying to catch up on the work I missed doing due to this problem. I am kind of hoping that this may be a know Windows problem with somr kind of known work around though I suspect that it’s not. As for FLOOD’s suggestion I am trying to check on Microsoft’s advisories but need to refine my google search as there seem to be an inordinate number of references to keyboard and mouse lag on the web. -

Kaspersky documentation is very clear, it refers to OneDrive Cloud only, not GoogleDrive or any other Cloud storage: Scanning files in OneDrive cloud storage In Windows 10 RS3 or later, Kaspersky Security Cloud does not scan files in OneDrive cloud storage. If Kaspersky Security Cloud detects such files during a scan, it shows a notification stating that the files in cloud storage were not scanned. The following components do not scan files in OneDrive cloud storage: Full Scan Selective Scan Quick Scan Background Scan The report on the operation of Kaspersky Security Cloud contains a list of files in OneDrive cloud storage that were skipped during scan. Files downloaded from OneDrive cloud storage to a local computer are scanned by real-time protection components. If a file scan was postponed and the file has been uploaded back to OneDrive cloud storage before the scan is started, this file may be skipped during a scan. When running applications and scripts, the Application Control and System Watcher components download applications from the OneDrive cloud storage to the local computer to scan. Please raise the issue with Kaspersky Technical Support, they’re the ones who’ll be able to provide a definitive answer. They will ask for traces, thankfully the issue is able to be replicated, otherwise, it would be a PIA for you😉 Please do share their advice when it’s available? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 -

Weird Inputs in the Kaspersky Password Manager program

I have been using Kaspersky Password Manager for about a year without many issues. However, recently, there is a very strange bug on my program. When I use the number bar above the QWERTY characters on the keyboard, it types some characters instead of the numbers. If I use Shift, it types the capitalized version of said characters, instead of these characters ! @ # $ %. This issue also happen at the start screen when the program asks me to input my master password also, making it very inconvenient (since I have special characters in my password) and insecure for me to unlock my passwords. This only happen in my Kaspersky Password Manager and no other programs. I can type numbers normally with the numpad. Here’s a photo of what it types when I try to type in 1 2 3 4 with the number bar. -

Hi, Unfortunately, the provided GSI doesn't contain information that we need. Could you please provide full GSI archive with Event logs. If the error appears with NTFS path, please set UNC path to this folder. If in both cases the error is returned, you should set permission on this folder correctly this command can be executed. After this command processes without an error, you should launch KSC Backup Task using whether NTFS path or UNC Path (i.e. those path by which this command runs without errors) Thank you! -

Hi Flood, Thanks for the super quick response. You are absolutely right - when I checked Safe Money again, all the sites had appeared. I’m sure they weren’t there yesterday after the import, but the machine has been restarted since then. The video threw me at first - no sound, and it seemed to show that nothing wasbeing restored or imported, until I twigged that there was nothing to export, either! Thanks again for your help. Thanks for reply. Good to know there is an archive. As you may have seen, my topic to which I was referring in our correspondence was the last topic in my archived topics called “Enabling The Secure Keyboard in KIS2019 “ At the risk of sounding like a stuck long playing record it is this issue referred to in that topic that remained the same until a few days ago when suddenly the green icon re-appeared on Safe Money sites I may never need to refer to this archived site again but how do I call it up if needed or is this something that I need to request of Community Admin? If you can answer my question in the preceding paragraph then I feel we can close this topic. I will assume that my K protection extension in Chrome is up to date and requires no further action on my part and that there is no answer on why the green icon has fortunately re-appeared If I were to speculate and that is all I can do, it suggests to me that Chrome did something that has corrected the problem and that is as close to an answer as we can ever get to. Hello @mikethebike, Your post seems to be evolving, I’m not clear which issues are current, may I have images of each issue please? Is the (original) issue, that you do not see the tiny keyboard ⌨ in SafeMoney ID & Password fields or in normal Chrome browser fields or something else? Re the “wrong” advice, they frequently give wrong/conflicting and contradictory “qualified” advice. Thank you🙏 -

Hello @wgcuser, Welcome again! If I understand the issue, you switched from Green KIS icon (in the Taskbar) to the Red KIS icon, and now the Red K icon has reverted to Green? If that is the issue, to revert to Red KIS icon, rightclick on the KIS icon (in the Taskbar), select About, with the About popup open, press (on the keyboard) IDDQD, the icon should make the switch. If this is not the problem, please post back and clarify please? Thank you🙏 . -
New Chromium Edge Browser - Does Kaspersky Safe Money Support it ????

The eagle has landed, the J version is now installed 😄 A quick view seems to confirm that KSM is now working indeed under Edge-Chromium, I will do some further checks later. The J version has introduced a bug on some sites, but that can be "solved” temporarily by a Shift + F5, as you're aware of. Regards, JW -

Hello @FLOOD In fact, Firefox is my main browser and I occasionally open Edge Dev. for checking my company’s email(not supported by Firefox). This morning, when I opened Edge Dev., I found Kaspersky Protection extension was installed in my Edge Dev. . However, I suddenly found that I could not access my Gmail and therefore I post my question on this site. Many thanks for your quick response and I hope the problem will be solved quickly in the future. -

Hello @vega109, Thank you for your quick response☺ & the additional information👏 By my count there’s 5 people who’ve reported the issue here in the Community, if each person is on patch(j), (imo) it’s important to contact Kaspersky Technical Support, ask them to assist? They’ll need all the info you’ve provided here, the GSI & Windows Logs and please tell them the issue is resolved if EdgeChromium is run as InPrivate, ask them why that would be? After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human🕵 will communicate with you, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account. Please keep us posted with any updates they provide please? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 -

Hello @FLOOD Many thanks for your quick response. My Gmail is still not accessible even I deleted the Kaspersky Protection extension. The image below is my edge://settings/privacy configuration (balance). Prior to patch(j) the GMAIL/me.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com issue didn’t happen.
