Full scan report shows strange number of files scanned.

Flood, Berny Problem solved 😉 , i decided to re-install KSC Free and voila , the comma are now at the right place giving me a number making way more sense, the last scan returned 1,616,919 yeah !!! The scan last 4hr 28 mn !!! Its a lot of files and I am surprised about that since other AV never returned that amount, not even close . But maybe this is why KSC is the best free AV available to home users ? 🤔 I have scheduled a full scan once a week is it too much ? I dont mind to work my hard drive intensively for 4hrs 30 a week but only if it is necessary . I have also scheduled a daily quick scan . anyway , merci beaucoup to you both for your support its really appreciated to have people like you in this community , have a great week !!! -

Thank you FLOOD for a quick answer of course all programs are licensed but I renewed KAV 2019 just a month ago. I was expecting to be on 2020 version but I stayed on 2019. How do I upgrade to KAV 2020? Would KAV20 work with the same license I received only a month ago? BTW, I would have believed you without the attachments -
My Kaspersky is not working correctly. Safe money does not work. Total security says the application is loading. Has for days.

Thank you for your reply. But it is too late. I tried to uninstall it. It would not let me. And after that, it appeared that the Total Security was trying to launch the application as it said it had been for days. It would not allow me any access to internet. Not Chrome or Edge. Not to my email. So I took it off to the computer folks. Something that Kaspersky did all on its own, nothing that I initiated by anything. Although I made it worse by trying to uninstall it. Appreciate you input. I had already put 5 hours into it trying to solve and reading in the forums and for solutions. Time for the pros to try to fix it. -
Certain sites fail to open in Safe Money [Solved][Closed]

FLOOD: The steps I use to access these sites: I open Chrome, which opens my default tabs. I click New Tab and then click links to each of my bank links (see attached image). This is turn should launch each of the sites in Safe Money. Here is the image of the Safe Money Settings page -

Quick update : I contacted tech supp… @harlan4096 You have 2021 beta version i installed also on VM newest build 21.0.41.1458 and i dont see there also nothing about VT. -
I had an issue to launch KIS 2019. It keeps "Loading the application" like foreeever. And i tried to uninstall the KIS 2019, and got a message Error 1306. Due to this matter, i'm planning to a downgrade my KIS 2019 to KIS 2017 that is more stable. My question is : How to uninstall KIS 2019 due to this error 1306? How to keep my license and save it for my next KIS 2017? Thank you

Yes, hangs on boot similar behavior just with a different error, there was just one line “[2.332949] failed to find cpu0 device node” >Do you use BIOS RAID feature? No, 1 SSD, 1 HD but no Raid feature enabled. The settings of the screenshots were default execpt the XHCI Handoff, i changed it but same error. I also did try to change the Legacy Mode with the result that i had to reset the BIOS to default (cause he didn’t detect my Keyboard anymore). Kind regards bern

Now even without interactive protection, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tajpi" in the exclusions and "Tajpi.exe" in Trusted (Application Control) group I cannot launch the application... -

Somehow my problem is solved 😂 Well, I didn’t do anything special, it’s just like in 1 normal day the quick tour screen appears indicating that the problem is solved. Also, i noticed that the application is still working despite the error. It still updates according to the taskbar icon and the anti-PUP feature still works -

Hi Flood, I cannot find the mail I got from Kaspersky Support any more. I switched from Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird, exported the mails but somehow some of them got lost. Right it works in IE, I never use that browser and it does not work in Edge. Firefox is certainly not my favourite brower, Stubborn he ...... It worked before in Chrome and the ticket from support is still open since end May but they remain silent. The only workaround is still to use the on screen keyboard. -

Hi FLOOD, In one of your replies above you have added an image of an input ex. of usename and password with "secure input" enabled in chrome. Was that with KIS 2020?And the latest version of chrome? You talked about a tiny keyboard icon that popup, but did the secure input icon also popup? I don't understand it should work at your site because kaspersky support told me that the cause it does not work is at technical base namely the development of chrome does not allow it anymore. -

Hello SupR-Pingou, Thank you. The Lab may take a few days to get back to you. As the issue started when KIS19 was installed we know it's not due to KIS20, we also know KIS20 hasn't fixed it. (a) If you haven't done so already, please set up Time Machine. (b) Please close all apps (not KIS), before doing the following: Select: Go To Folder in Finder’s Go menu (or select keyboard shortcut Shift (⇧)—Command (⌘)—G ) paste the full path ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.itunes in the field, select Go button. Hold the Command (⌘) key while selecting the fsCachedData folder and SubscriptionPlayCache folder, then release the key and select Move to Trash from the Finder’s File menu (alternatively, select Command (⌘)—Backspace (⌫) ). Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in ~/Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Open each folder, delete everything, Note: Deleting contents NOT the folders. Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in /Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Select Shut Down from Apple menu . Restart MAC, login, make sure KIS is active Retest iTunes If the issue persists, please collect data using KL Logs Gather tool for Mac OS and upload to INC000010850829, along with the data and images you've collected (here). Thanks for the reply. I ran into a problem very quickly. I don''t have reports under more tools. I do have a reports button on the front page, along with Scan, Database Update and On-Screen Keyboard.

Hello kenfromcanada, Thanks for posting back. Why have you chosen Don't Ask and Always Switch? My image may have mislead you, sorry, I showed the options for you to chose the setting you wished to have, as I don't know if you do or don't wish to use Tablet Mode "ever". If you never wish to use Tablet Mode, the settings should be: Tablet Mode OFF Don't ask & don't switch. Regarding the processes, it's important to verify the starting location of any process being queried. Diagnostics Tracking or DiagTracK (Windows) service, runs automatically, sends data to Microsoft. I disable DiagTracK, (imo) MS have more than enough (of my) data. SettingSyncHost.exe, must be C:\Windows\System32, Windows core system file, synchronises system settings, between devices WirelessKB850NotificationService.exe - must be C:\Windows\System32, MS Mouse & Keyboard software. Must be signed by MS. Regarding OneSyncSvc_5ff70 - Sync Host_5ff70, please post an image of this, including Properties. Thank you. -

Full file name, full path, full location, detection verdict. Post screenshot of Reports > Detailed reports > Detected objects. Main Kaspersky window > More Tools > Reports > upper right > Detailed reports > at the upper left, drop down from All Events to Detected objects. How to take and post screenshot: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/diagnostics/492 PrtSc (Print screen) key (upper right part of keyboard)> open Paint (Start > All programs > Accessories) > Edit > Paste, File > Save as (jpeg or png, Not bmp). Premium, 1.0.5.1360 Has a KSK/system requirements check been done? yes Is “after entering the password & pressing enter, the screen goes black” a new problem or has always existed? It is a new problem. It doesn’t happen with each login, only about each 2nd. It does not happen if I de-install KSK. It re-appears if I re-install KSK. Have you deleted & recreated your son’s Windows profile & rechecked? yes. If a “dummy” child profile is created, at login, after entering the password & pressing enter, does the screen black ? Not tested. What would be the difference between a real profile and a dummy profile? Has KSK been uninstalled & reinstalled? yes. Any idea? best Slooti

Thanks, @FLOOD for your trouble. My first primary issue was with KPM using Edge as default and not Firefox. This has been resolved. I’ll just wait awhile for the official KTS add-on for Chromium Edge, which isn’t my default browser anyway. Thanks again. Your quick responses to my queries is precisely why I continue to use and recommend Kaspersky products to everyone. -

Hello Miko, K won't be making GSI "more user friendly" at least not in our lifetimes. Please tell me what's complicated about GSI? I can help. Are you having trouble downloading the GSI tool? Are you having trouble running the GSI tool? Or, knowing which GSI options to select? or ? No problem if you don't wish to pusure GSI, however, can you please let us know: If you FULLY EXIT KIS, does/do the errors still happen? With KIS ACTIVE: can you try with another browser, e.g. Firefox, Vilvaldi, Brave, Opera - Same result? With KIS INACTIVE, can you try with another browser, e.g. Firefox, Vilvaldi, Brave, Opera - Same result? Wikipedia - same problem.... ? Can you please post several URLs that generate the errors please? And, re: using KIS WITH KSC, the error does not occur: Have you done: Disconnect from the internet, Turn off/exit network connection, in other words, if you have a wifi/adsl/cable conx, turn off the router. Press Windows + X Press “A” to launch Command Prompt with administrative privileges. Enter the following commands, one at a time & press ENTER after EACH command ipconfig /release ipconfig /all ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew netsh int ip set dns netsh winsock reset Reboot/Restart PC. Restart Router. Restart KIS. Then retest, without KSC. Please let us know? Thanks!
