Just to be sure, can I launch tracing from custom tools and in the mean time take Procmon logs without change Self Defense on KSC policy? I had some issue after policy change so I'd avoid to change it.

Therefore is it possible to launch a ps1 file or the command must be directly write on the field? Thanks in advance

I looked into the Win logs and realized that KIS stopped working on May 25, I didn’t install anything a week before. I did install a cracked game before that, but played for an hour and removed as I realised it’s boring… Maybe it left a virus, which had waken up a week or 2 later… Hello, If you worry about malware infection. Hi team. I have installed KSK both in the Ipad and Phone. On the phone the set up was quick and easy, also installed KSK on my Iphone which I use to remotely control the apps and usage. I wanted to put the Ipad also under control of KSK control as a second device but I have not been able to complete the installation because of the issue described above. I installed the latest version of IOS on the Ipad and the problem persists. My ipad is running on IOS 12.4.7. Thanks

Hi, Nikolay It’s done the upgrade, keyboard it’s come back to working but traking pad stop work. If i plug in a USB Mouse, it’s showing the pointer mouse. Thank you!

Hi Flood, Sorry about delayed response! It is the crazy season! I hope you had a great Christmas! Thank you for you assistance. Things are back to normal now and I have the 30.147.100.0, extension with easy access to the on screen keyboard. How KPE 2016 got installed: I deleted the new KPE version before upgrading, when it installed automatically, completely out of the blue which left me with 2 KPE’s! If I had deleted the old version I would have been ok! After the upgrade to 2020 I did not have an extension at all so I searched the google webstore, but nothing legit came up, so I searched Kaspersky support. I found the link to the 2016 extension, not realizing it was the wrong one. When I realized it was wrong I continued searching for the most recent extension but could not find it. So I ended up here! Cleared KIS reports launch Adobe CC Desktop App sign in there after a while, click 'check for app updates' and it gets signed out. launched GSI then started scan my computer including Windows event logs here it is. check PM Do I need to export reports you mentioned however isn't it included in GSI? I don't know how to do that.

Could you write how this component is called in the Russian version? There is a program launch control, program activity control. Or is it another component?

Hi Potzki You can add whitelist the site by adding it to the exclusions of the encrypted connection scanning of kaspersky. To do so: Open Kaspersky > Settings > Additional Go to Network Scroll down and look for Manage Exclusions Click on "Add" then enter: www.live.com.au Click on "Add" again to save the settings. Once done, re-launch your Outlook and check if the issue is still there. Let us know of the result. Regards,

@FLOOD First, thank you for detailed explanation. Second, I cannot now replicate this issue as after clearing cache everything works. Mind you I haven’t found issues with ff.ksk.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com after quick googling. There is a lot with ff.ksi.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com, but this is different server probably for Kaspersky Internet Security. I guess this issue appears when there are old addresses injected in cache files, but they are not used by new version of Kaspersky product anymore. I think they should provide something like transient period when both function simultaneously. Generally I think KSK is a little too rough around the edges for non IT users. Many people I know, that once used it, doesn’t anymore, because it stopped working for them at some point and they couldn’t figure how to fix it. Which is a shame because it is a nice product.

Posting this to let everyone know that EAC is now the problem and that this error is happening with other antivirusus and that their anticheat is causing their games to not load for many people period. I am one of these people and wish that there was a way to completely destroy all traces of EAC in my system besides hard deleting them but i cant so i will be stuck with this issue till they fix it. (uninstalled Kas. and tried to launch several games so this is how i know EAC is the issue + some redditors I will make a new edit when this is resolved)

The request I made a couple of months ago was straight in a kind of “test” webpage from Kaspersky, but I just inserted my e-mail contact, but was not logged inside My Kaspersky. Now I have created an incident inside my account and the support already answered me with a couple of extra questions. Let’s see.

As post above indicated…. In addition - kaspersky scanning on the background your files and also if you run scan (FULL or QUICK) then pulsing or ROOTKIT scan (this runs automatically).

You can create a policy, as you said. Or you can try to upgrade you KES by inplace update. You can create installation pack of new KES and launch setup. It should install it succesfully. And with ne wversion and new policy you can change your password also. I have already tried this and installation fails with a fatal error. It does install over the current version without uninstalling it and because there is a password set it will not uninstall without password.
