  3. Thank you for the quick reply but how do i install version 21.2.16.590b . The link sends me to a page that says “Run Database Update to Install patch”. When i run the database update, the version stays at 21.1.15.500. When i click on the Download button, it takes me to the main product page, When i try to download from there, it again tries to download version 21.1.15.500 Is version 21.2.16.590b officially released yet? I don’t know if this is a problem or not but my version of Windows 10 is a bit old. I am running version 10.0.18363. Thank you again for the help
  4. @DesignDude2020 I experienced this as well, took me a while to realize it was Kaspersky. A quick search indicates this is a common problem - I was able resolve my issue by disabling the script injection option and that seems to have worked.
  5. Hallo Alexcad, we already installed with setup as you mention, but it is not working. So far, the only thing that works, in order to remove the keyboard problen, is by uninstalling the software and reinstalling it.
  6. Hallo There, I went crazy over the same problem. I got half of the user in our company blocked with the Keyboard, and/or any USB device connected to it, like Pistol/Scan QR reader, When we moved from the version 10 to 11.2. At first it happened only on Dell Computers, independently if WIN 10 was up-to-date of the latest version (2004). But then it happened also on some other computers. In some cases it was enough to update to the latest Win10 update. In others I had to reinstall Win10, I even uninstalled Kaspersky but did not work. In order to solve the issue, at least it worked for us, we had to uninstall Kaspersky with the Remover Tool, that you find in this link: https://support.kaspersky.com/us/common/uninstall/1464. Then reinstall Agent and then Endpoint Security for Windows. Then reboot 2 times. THEN IT WORKED. Hope it helps, but KASPERSKY TEAM should look into this problem. Why has it happened????

  8. Hello and thank you for your quick answer! Sorry I am not sure to understand your question: the parent profile? Do you mean KSK parent profile? I am using my Desktop PC to monitor kid devices (computer and android phone), so on the android phone I did only set a child profile and next I’ve modified settings through my Destkop PC & My Kaspersky. I’ve never opened the parent profile on the android phone.

    Kasperky CPU usage while playing game

    I have a question regarding Kaspersky Total Security. I have been trying to play a Steam game called Resident Evil 4, aka Biohazard 4. I noticed that when I launch this game and try to play my Kaspersky usage in my task manager goes to 27% and stays around 24-28%. I don’t think that this is normal but I could also be wrong. I have gone throuth the check lists of having “Idle Scan” set to off as well as “release resources to the operating system when computer starts”. As well as “Search for system malicious programs in system rootkits”, so far nothing has changed the Kaspersky usage. I also, by default have “gaming mode” set to on. Besides this, I think the only thing I can do is play with Kaspersky set to off. I recently did a new reformat of my SSD of which my OS is installed on, Windows 10 (64Bit), I have Kaspersky installed on my main SSD and my games from Steam installed on a different SSD. For my computer I have a, 4770k non OC, a GTX 1080, and 32Gigs of RAM on a 4k TV. I have HDR off and for this game I set the native resolution to 1080p. Am I doing something wrong?

Dear Kaspersky Free Antivirus Support Team, How’s things?, I just want to know is using an old version of your free antivirus safe to do so?, as I am on 20. 0.14.1085 (I) 2019 version, after finding it to be what I wanted in a free antivirus with easy to configure settings and with no sign of flaws. Both quick and full scans when tested separately was working well or should I use the 19.0.0.1088 of your free antivirus version instead.
  14. ok, you can set a quick scan in your group policy for connected usb If you want to allow to connect a usb device for 1 or 2 hours, when the user connect the usb, kaspersky will show you a block message, in this block message you will see a temporal access request just select the device and kaspersky will create a .akey file, you have to move this file to your server and select the device, right click on this and select “Grant access in offline mode” In this windows just select the .akey file and this will show you some values like time to use this file and time to use this device, so you can set 1 or 2 hours, this will create a .acode file just share this file with the user. connect the usb again, when kaspersky show you a block message just select “I have a access code” and select the .acode file.
  15. My version is 21.1.15.500 (c). So I downloaded the 2021 extension. The Web Anti-virus is already enabled. Do you need more information of my system? I have passed the questions here again for quick reference. How did the Trojan script got into the browser in the first place? How did it bypass the anti-virus? I only saw the issue when I was checking something else and saw the “exclamation mark” on the anti-virus icon. Why is there no pop-up screen for me to take action when it is detected? https://threats.kaspersky.com/en/threat/Trojan.Script.Generic/ did not say much about the payload. How do I know what information is compromised? Should I be concern about anything? Or is it a false positive?
  16. If you wish to uninstall the KIS extension, that's fine, (ioo) it would be better to first test where the issue is: Is it KIS extension? Is it Safari browser? Is it KIS application? Is it system? As a test, you could in download & install Google Chrome browser, make sure Kaspersky Protection extension is installed and enabled, make sure KIS is active, recheck the Safe Money notification? Installed Google Chrome and Extension still did not work for safe money and tracker prevention still stuck Works, great you've established the problem is the Safari browser. Solution = a full Safari reset. Safari reset, disabling all extensions did not solve the problem At the completion of the Safari reset, shutdown MAC, power on, login, make sure KIS is active - recheck the Safe Money notification? Works? Great, problem solved👏 Doesn't work - do the following: Uninstall KIS using the uninstall wizard - follow the directions carefully, at the completion of the uninstall: shutdown the MAC using Shutdown, not restart, power on, login: Completed full uninstall, shut down computer. left kapersky secure connection installed. Check List of applications incompatible with Kaspersky Internet Security 20 for Mac None of my applications are listed as incompatible, so it good. Download and install a NEW KIS installer - follow the directions carefully, at the completion of the install - shutdown the MAC using Shutdown, not restart, power on, login: make sure KIS is active, start Safari, make sure Kaspersky Protection extension is installed and enabled, recheck the Safe Money notification? After reinstall and reboot, it still has not solved the problem. Safe Money doesn't work and both website tracking prevention and web antivirus do not work. both show nothing under reports , they are at zero and haven't moved. I suspect they were all not working before but only noticed safe money at first. everything else including file antivirus, virtual keyboard, updates... seem to work. Should I wait for Patch C? or put in technical assistance request? Works? Great, problem solved👏
  17. Kaspersky Total Security (for 3 years) 21.1.15.500 © On this computer - near 1 month. On other computers - near a year I don’t think that I unchecked it - that’s why it constantly asking to make it enabled. I am still thinking, so I didn’t shut these questions down, just click on “remind later” I couldn't get the image because it was too quick (I even clicked a few times on “submit” (password) to actually see what is there) and now I removed the extension from Chrome. The word “Kaspersky” was in green letters, other words in black, all this - in a small box like 8 mm x 3 cm
  18. What is KIS version. I uninstalled Kaspersky extension from Chrome, closed all programs and opened them again, was able to change the password and sign in … finally. I am not sure what this Kaspersky did, also I didn’t ask it to manage my passwords (I didn’t enable it). I saw a small icon appearing when was trying to sign in with a saved by Chrome password, where I saw very quickly that Kaspersky… enabled” - don’t remember all words - it was a very quick appearance.
  19. Symptoms of the corrupted Windows 10 update are mostly blue screen errors or crashes that display messages like Something went wrong. You will notice that it tries to update the PC but cannot complete it. It’s annoying, but it is straightforward to fix. If you wish to update the PC, then pursue the given instructions: Insert the services.msc in the Windows Search bar. Right-click and then launch like the administrator. Find Update service then stop. Go to the C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download in Windows Explorer. Remove the entire contents from the folder. Ensure that admin access needs to remove a few files. Restart the Windows update service. This procedure will stop update service, which locks the content of an installer package. A document available in a folder is for the update and removing it compels to download the new copy.   23. Hello, I am testing KES Cloud Plus and I have issue with Android Synchronisation. Kaspersky Endpoint security & Device Management has been installed through the invitation email. From android devis everything is fine, i can run a synchronisation command with success. I try to run a synchronisation from server and got an error without details. I wanted to check Alarm ang Geolocalisation features and, as nothing happened, i try to force synch and got an error, see in attached. From smartphone side, if I launch a synch, i immediatly receive the Alarm and Geolocalisation request. How can i check what is wrong from server ? I didn’t find any log related to thois error. thx a lot for help
  24. Are you sure? It didn’t work for me. Did you test it by restarting your browser and wait at least 1 min? On my system, it pops up everytime when I launch Chrome or Firefox. I disabled all notifications in the settings menu and clicked the `disable this notification` button on the pop-up message itself but it still keeps popping up.
  25. Restart your computer and only Kaspersky Anti-Virus should remain active. To completely unload Kaspersky Anti-Virus, you need to right-click on the Kaspersky icon in the tray and select "Exit". But, as you have already noticed, this will launch the Windows Defender.
