  1. Hello @JoeBlow, You’re welcome! As @harlan4096 advised earlier, use permit or deny exclusions, otherwise, wait for Kaspersky to remove the feature, which, imo, will be another bad move. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 Resources: Secure Data Input How to configure the display of the On-Screen Keyboard icon
  2. Every time I go to log into a web site that has a username/password I get a pop up from Kapersky that says “Kapersky...Security keyboard input is enabled”...is there anyway to disable that? I do not want pop up. https://imgur.com/a/7mDd0NJ
  3. Hi, I am having the same issue.. I did try the log non critical option, and it’s just too large.. Kaspersky said “one cloud objects were skipped”.. to find that ONE in such a massive report is impossible.. I already tried for half an hour and can’t do it. I would just like to know why this is happening and how to scan that object. I do not have one drive installed, i.e, with my new laptop, i uninstalled it. It’s an Aorus X5 V8 which came with very little junkware and no other malware protection like most laptops do.. in other words I was able to install kaspersky total security as the first and only AV suite on the machine… So I have no idea what could possibly be in the cloud that kaspersky can’t scan. I did have express VPN open at the time so I closed that and re scanned, and again, the same message about one file being skipped. Any ideas? 20.0.14.1085 is the version of Kaspersky Total Latest threat definitions. I have all default settings as the program was installed.. I haven’t mucked about with anything. The first time I performed a scan one week ago, after initial installation and threat database update, there was no such “cloud” message after scan. I have chrome installed as well as the new edge. I do not use kaspersky safe money (I will make another topic as to why, i’d love to use it, but the keyboard is broken here so I can’t use it). I am trying to think of anything I may have touched but really it was just a plain jane default install that followed all the recommended suggestions.

    Flickering of screen while typing

Hello @prakharprasad, How did you conclude “installing an antivirus would remove flickering problem”? Does the flickering happen when Windows is run in SafeMode with Networking? If an onscreen keyboard is used does the screen flicker? May we have a GSI & Windows Logs? Please post a video of the “screen randomly flickering”? Please let us know? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳

    GoogleUpdateTaskMachineUAC detected as Virus

They were in Quarantine, Service.exe and Service.tdi that was, but I deleted them, don’t know if that was a mistake. Only Firefox and Edge are installed. Edge only because of the new windows update Reports are attachedThanks for the quick reply! I’m getting really worried now. Running Malwarebytes at the moment.
  7. Your Topic has been moved from the KPM to the KTS Section. Also can you please provide more details : Should we understand you get these repeating Pop-Ups only when you launch Firefox ?
  8. Hello, I try to update my clients on ksc from kes 11.1 to 11.2. On most clients I get two errors messages and update failed (translated from french) : Error 1 : Patch installation error, file C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KES\Patches\kes11\kes11_2\aes256\fr\kes_win.msi not found Error 2 : File use error, task launch not possible. How can I solve these errors ? System on clients is Windows 10 64bits 1909. Thanks by advance.
  9. Thank you very much for your quick reply. I was able to use a small variation the method described to access the Kaspesky app on my Android device. I was not able to click the “Forgot access code?” link when the fingerprint image was shown on the screen. I was able to either use the fingerprint and getting the error mentioned on my first post or hit the return button from Android I noticed that the App needed like 1 second between booting up and showing the fingerprint so I had to close and open the App a few times until I was able to hit the link “Forgot access code?” before the fingerprint image showed on the screen. Then I was able to log in with the new password. Would it be possible to modify the app so that even if the fingerprint image is shown the “Forgot access code?” link is clickable? Thank you in advance
  10. Thanks for your quick answers. I thought it only depends on the license key for WS and Desktop meanwhile. Cheers Sascha
  11. Hi, Verify that in the "Schedule" tab of each component, the product is active and with the option "at application launch". Regards
  12. Hello @Dinsdale1, You’re very welcome, I’m delighted the issues are resolved🤸 Thank you for the additional information and for thinking of others who’ll read your post👏 Autorun, is a good/recommended setting. In my image, the tiny ? highlighted red, selecting a question mark in any Kaspersky software will open a browser to the help document specific to the application window; the ? on this screen, Launch Kaspersky Internet Security at computer startup (recommended) If KIS does play up, and it’s not due to any other 3rd pty software, hardware, or environmental issues, selecting Restore settings may help, otherwise, reinstalling, can be a successful solution, & always ask, we’re here to help, if we can’t, the Kaspersky Technical Team will (for licensed software). Regarding Windows, 1909 is the latest version. Best regards.
  13. OK, thanks. Which one of the four reports should I focus on? ‘Neutralised’, ‘Full Scan’ ‘Quick scan’ or ‘Database Update’? (I am guessing the last one is of limited interest.)
  14. So for the Last time PROTECTED Browser PROTECTS you against keyloggers etc untrusted program runed on the background or any other dangerous program installed in PC which catching your Keys on keyboard. Also PROTECTS again screen captures (screenshot) screen lockers etc. It is most important to have kaspersky system watcher enabled in kaspersky settings.
  15. Hello @Ak2020, Akshay, Thank you for the information👌 You were a little bit quick for us😯☺ , we’ve added extra to our previous reply if you’d kindly assist with 6. & 7. please? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
  16. Hello @maigor, On the source device, where keyboard lag/delay issue happens & on any remote devices, check List of applications incompatible with Kaspersky Internet Security, to see if there are any software conflicts. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
  17. This is what they asked me to do and what I also did. It resolved my problem😀 Since by disabling Web Anti-virus component the issue is resolved, please try to enable Web Anti-virus and perform the following test: 1. Please launch your Internet Security 2. Click on Kaspersky Internet Security on the menu bar 3. Go to Preferences 4. Now locate and un-check the option to "Check Secure connections (HTTPS)" 👍

  23. CronokC, You have just summarised quite closely the problems I have been experiencing, and I’m now wondering if this is what is causing my problems. I use MBAM premium with Kaspersky Internet Security also. About a week ago I found that closing applications would still result in their processes running in the background. For instance, if I closed Steam in the tray, the icon would disappear but the processes would still be running. Any attempt to terminate said processes would be unresponsive, thus preventing any re-launch of the program. I have also had this behaviour happen with Chrome, Firefox, Uplay, Malwarebytes, and even Kaspersky. Only a restart would stop the processes. A few days ago I decided to revert to a system image I made when Windows was cleanly installed and the problem went away. Everything seemed to be working fine until just now where the problem has reoccurred. The only thing I have done today is uninstall Kaspersky 2019 and install Kaspersky 2020. It’s has to be something to do with this. Same thing happened to me. I did like you and installed a system image and the problem went away...Then came back! … Probably because Kerspersky pushes updates which obviously contain conflicts with other software. (Conflicts which never existed before) Namely with Malewarebytes. You’d think they’d have figured this out before broadcasting this unnecessary red-haring causing many Window’s users major headaches.
