How Many My Kaspersky Accounts Can Be Linked to One Multi-Device License? [Closed]
Flood and Flood's wife replied to neo_zerox's topic in Kaspersky Internet Security
He Hello @James_o1, You’re very welcome👌 Anyone who has access to the MyKaspersky account cannot access your computer, for example your documents & files, however, the MyKaspersky account is a powerful component of (your) Kaspersky software. Access to the MyKaspersky account enables the following: Make changes to, and or access MyKaspersky Account settings: Name Email address Password Security Bank card Order history Activation codes Consents Data provision Delete account Manage 2FA. View & manage Kaspersky application Notifications. Turn on or turn off Kaspersky protection components of Kaspersky applications installed on your devices. Run Kaspersky application Full Scan. Run Kaspersky application Quick Scan. Run Kaspersky application Database Update. View information about Kaspersky software licenses and their terms. Disconnect the MyKaspersky account from the device. Download purchased, free or trial Kaspersky applications. Access & manage KPM, only with KPM Master password. Contact Technical Support and manage any incident requests raised via the MyKaspersky portal. If KIS is installed on an Android, remotely lock the mobile device, locate it, and protect private data. Kaspersky’s contractual obligations are with & to the sofware License holder. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 -
Windows 10 build 1903 compatibility with older KIS version, 17.0.0.611(n) [Closed]

Symptoms of the corrupted Windows 10 update are mostly blue screen errors or crashes that display messages like Something went wrong. You will notice that it tries to update the PC but cannot complete it. It’s annoying, but it is straightforward to fix. If you wish to update the PC, then pursue the given instructions: Insert the services.msc in the Windows Search bar. Right-click and then launch like the administrator. Find Update service then stop. Go to the C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download in Windows Explorer. Remove the entire contents from the folder. Ensure that admin access needs to remove a few files. Restart the Windows update service. This procedure will stop update service, which locks the content of an installer package. A document available in a folder is for the update and removing it compels to download the new copy. If the file was corrupted, it must not happen, then the update procedure must be finished as you start the Windows Update service again. norton.com/setup -

Kaspersky website: If you click on “more information” you’ll get the main Kasper site - not more info on about cookies.
HumeEvor replied to HumeEvor's topic in Kaspersky Total Security
Un -huh, I’ve seen the main site many times. I already rent Kasper Total. I am NOT looking for more stuff to buy , I am looking for the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. After reading every word in the entirety of the link you provide, still has no “privacy Policy” nor a “Terms of Use”. Those I have managed to find after trudging through dozens of pages, also link to the front sale page. Some pages MAY have the policies, but are buried under the “ACCEPT AND CLOSE” cookie plopper. Shouldn’t we be permitted to read the policies BEFORE we “ACCEPT”? If it helps, the link you provided which I was permitted to extract is “https://www.kaspersky.com/web-privacy-policy”. As soon as I hit that page, the page redirects me to the main page (most all do this) - that being “https://www.kaspersky.ca/” I did manage to find one page that wasn’t covered up with the ACCEPT or leave option, but there was no policy of any kind on that page. ~h~ Thanks for the quick response though. -
Full scan report shows strange number of files scanned.
homer1959 replied to homer1959's topic in Kaspersky Security Cloud
Flood, Berny Problem solved 😉 , i decided to re-install KSC Free and voila , the comma are now at the right place giving me a number making way more sense, the last scan returned 1,616,919 yeah !!! The scan last 4hr 28 mn !!! Its a lot of files and I am surprised about that since other AV never returned that amount, not even close . But maybe this is why KSC is the best free AV available to home users ? 🤔 I have scheduled a full scan once a week is it too much ? I dont mind to work my hard drive intensively for 4hrs 30 a week but only if it is necessary . I have also scheduled a daily quick scan . anyway , merci beaucoup to you both for your support its really appreciated to have people like you in this community , have a great week !!! -
Kaspersky detects as Trojan: RoboForm: c:\windows\system32\tasks\Run RoboForm TaskBar Icon
zivshosh replied to zivshosh's topic in Kaspersky Anti-Virus
Thank you FLOOD for a quick answer of course all programs are licensed but I renewed KAV 2019 just a month ago. I was expecting to be on 2020 version but I stayed on 2019. How do I upgrade to KAV 2020? Would KAV20 work with the same license I received only a month ago? BTW, I would have believed you without the attachments -

Chrome extension adds obscure links to the source code of webpages
Martin replied to Martin's topic in Kaspersky Total Security
Hi, Thanks for the help. Just a quick additional question. Did you try to search for http: in the developer? Click CTRL and the F key on your keyboard and fill in http: and hit enter and keep hitting it untill you see the links I mention. Because only then do I see those weird links. If I don’t search specifically for http: I see what you see (see sceenshot). Regards, Martin -
How to disable "Are you using Firefox/Chrome" annoying extension notification. [Solved][Closed]
noisywan replied to minamoto's topic in Kaspersky Internet Security
Are you sure? It didn’t work for me. Did you test it by restarting your browser and wait at least 1 min? On my system, it pops up everytime when I launch Chrome or Firefox. I disabled all notifications in the settings menu and clicked the `disable this notification` button on the pop-up message itself but it still keeps popping up. -
Turn off Kaspersky anti virus. But Says it is off, but there is still running in Task Manager. and cannot right click and “End task” access is denied.
andrew75 replied to Captain Paul's topic in Kaspersky Anti-Virus
Restart your computer and only Kaspersky Anti-Virus should remain active. To completely unload Kaspersky Anti-Virus, you need to right-click on the Kaspersky icon in the tray and select "Exit". But, as you have already noticed, this will launch the Windows Defender. -

Chrome extension adds obscure links to the source code of webpages
Martin replied to Martin's topic in Kaspersky Total Security
Hi, Thanks for the reply. I will first list what you asked for 🙂. Windows 10 64 bit version 1909 Kaspersky Total Security 20.0.14.1085 (h) Chrome version 80.0.3987.106 KTS extension 30.255.180.0 Firefox 73.0 KTS extension 30.255.173.0 I have also Opera, Edge and IE installed and I don’t see the issue on those as they don’t have the extension. I did what you said and followed all the steps. I looked in Chrome at https://community.kaspersky.com/ and din’t see this issue. However when I look at other sites I do see it. I added a screenshot from some random site www.fietsenwinkel.nl as well where you can see it. Why would I see it on a normal website but not on the kaspersky comminity site is another mysterie. I tried an international site as well https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/. Still the same issue. Open Chrome with the extension installed. Open the the Developer tool. Click CTRL and the F key on your keyboard and fill in http: and hit enter and keep hitting it untill you see the links I mention. At least I hope it’s not just me :-) -

Kaspersky won't finish canceling after it would not finish installing
Berny replied to jdods's topic in Kaspersky Security Cloud
@jdods My intention was to propose you to proceed with the KavRemover (after backup of your personal data) in order to cleanup the suspended installation , but your keyboard problem makes this suggestion impossible because with this tool you have to enter a security code. ? Are you able to enter into Safe Mode ? At this point i think your best option is K-Lab Technical Support https://center.kaspersky.com -

Kaspersky won't finish canceling after it would not finish installing
jdods replied to jdods's topic in Kaspersky Security Cloud
The keyboard issue: in the task manager, the wireless keyboard has been replaced by "wireless keyboard filter device". The status reads "a driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 33)" Did some research and the code 32 might be referring to a registry issue. Could the registry have been messed up in the steps I have gone through above? Thank you. Jeff -

2 posts up you can see that my attempt to uninstall Kaspersky following your directions failed. I went on while I awaited your next instructions. I tried installing a XML file converter (to Excell) called Altova and got the error in the next post saying that an install of Kaspersky has been suspended. I said I did not want to undo those changes. After capturing the image, and posting it to this thread, I learn that I cannot use the keyboard to type or use any other keys like ctrl or the windows flag, nothing. Rebooting does not help. This has become a serious matter for me. I'm typing logged in from my Android. My PC is effectively dead. I need serious help. Thank you. Jeff -

Somehow my problem is solved 😂 Well, I didn’t do anything special, it’s just like in 1 normal day the quick tour screen appears indicating that the problem is solved. Also, i noticed that the application is still working despite the error. It still updates according to the taskbar icon and the anti-PUP feature still works -

IT seems really dumb Launch into safe mode (with networking) Install the kaspersky protection chrome extension I don’t know why, but that fixed it, it was my last solution cause i realised i had an extension missing but thats so stupid that your internet wont work at all on any browser or discord unless you have the extension. -
Hello @Naveed05, You’re very welcome! Thank you for replying and the information👌 1 So I can check each app, may I know the name of the Music Player please? 2 May I have images of Pie Storage, that includes: System memory, Used space, Miscellaneous files, Available space ? (see my images): 3 When you say, “I had blocked the app in KSK many times”, does that mean you’ve manually blocked SwiftKey keyboard application? 4 May I have an image of SwiftKey keyboard application as shown in the MyKaspersky account (see my image): 5 For my understanding, if you do not wish your child to use SwiftKey keyboard, why not uninstall SwiftKey keyboard? 6 Please clarify/provide more detail please regarding “even the default for new app is blocked “ , atm I’m not clear what this means? 7 May I have an image of the 4 Notifications please: 8 Please 📎 attach📎 the KSK 7 day Report? Please let me know? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
