dnorth replied to dnorth's topic in Kaspersky Internet SecurityI’ve just been ‘upgraded’ to KIS 21.2.16.590 (b), and found that some of the scroll bars don’t work properly. E.g. on the main Settings screen, if I click below the scroll box, it should page down, but nothing happens. To scroll down, I either have to drag the scroll bar (which is much more awkward with a touchpad) or use the keyboard. This is very annoying. -

Used safari on my macbook pro (intel). mac os version: 11.2.1 KIS version: 21.1.0.150a.b I thought it was wikipedia, I didnt look at the adress. It looks like a scam website now, after I saw the adress. the adress is: “https://iw.vvikipedla.com/wiki/Phragmoplast” [link disabled] when I clicked there was a quick opening of a page, I didnt see what it was, it flickered and then the website appered. It happened on the same page, it didnt open a new tab or window. I dont know if it was a different page or a reloading, it was too fast to see. My history shows that only one website was opened. I didnt have the kspersky extension enabled in safari, but the software was enabled, and still is. I then saw the adress and noticed it was not wikipedia. I got out of the website and pressed again, and this time nothing flickered. It is obviously not the real wikipedia site, by the adress and the fact that it has trackers. I did a full scan and there were no threats. The problem: in report under processed objects there is an adware object that was detected. Status: Detected Detected: Adware Name: not-a-virus:HEUR:AdWare.Script.Pusher.gen The time of detection is exactly when I enterd the website. I didnt get a notification. Under protection center it says there are no active threats, and under it: “1 malicious object has been disinfected or deleted” and when I press on details: “no detected or quarantined objects”. My qustions: 1. why didnt I get notified? 2. Why was it only detected and not also blocked and deleted? or detected means it was blocked and deleted? 3.why under protection center it says that there was 1 malicious object that has been disinfected or deleted, but under details nothing shows up? 4.The website has a lock, and also has a green light from Kaspersky on the search results. can you cheack if this site really tries to infect users with adware? 5. Is this something to be concern about, Or Kaspersky fixed this issue? how can I make sure this object was deleted, or gets deleted? If kaspersky detected it does that means that it was blocked and deleted? if not, why ? Is my computer secured , or there is anything else I should do? Thanks in advanced -

We’ve confirmed with a Technical Support Supervisor, there is a grace period of up to 14 days before all features will be disabled from the date of current license expiry. It’s personal choice, however, we prefer to wait until the existing license expires, that eliminates any possibility of activation code conflict. I already had an account on this forum made like 1-2 years ago. Today when i wanted to log in i saw that i needed to change my password because the “password change at 180 days” was turned ON it seems. Now i’m not sure what my old username was in the older account but it probably must have changed. Does that mean that the old account was deleted ? The one i am posting from now i checked and it was created today. I wouldn’t have had to create one i think if the website didn’t force me to change password because of the 180 days option. -

CLEsports replied to a post in a topic in Kaspersky Internet SecurityJust to follow up on @Wesly.Zhang ‘s workaround, any time that the Brave browser auto-updates, you’ll have to then go and rename brave.exe again to chrome.exe to load the web browser. If you know PowerShell, you can write a quick script to do it for you. -
So quick update (dont want create new topic)… For KPM was released patch (p) which officialy supports brave, comodo and vivaldi browser. But Kaspersky protection addon not working still. Always i am on still same place without any changes. If i have brave.exe (KPM working), kaspersky protection not working. If i have renamed brave.exe to chrome.exe (KPM not working and same source code like google chrome), but kaspesky protection addon now working. So my question is : Can someone in KL finally fix this problem?? How long i must wait ? I want both features not 1 or 2. -

Another bug, I’ve experienced big delays on writing to Facebook, I?m using Firefox, I typed and text lagged about 3-5 seconds, cpu with high too. I solved it uninstalling and reinstalling Kaspersky, but this time I’ve removed all controls of keyboard -
You need Advanced-license to use “application launch control” https://support.kaspersky.com/12784 You can use “trusted zone” in the policy to exclude files/applications from scanning. In Windows I can disable all notifications from Kaspersky, but then it won’t tell me if it’s found a problem - and I certainly want to know about that. My notification settings in KIS are below - non-problems aren’t mentioned. -
ptoye replied to ptoye's topic in Kaspersky Internet SecurityI keep getting notifications that I don’t want. One is to use the VPN - I don’t want to be reminded of this every time I log in. I’ve set the KIS notification not to tell me about other products, but this seems to escape the filter. The other is to tell me that Quick Scan has finished with no errors. I’d like to be told if there are errors so I don’t want to disable this notification completely. I’m using KIS on Windows 10. Any ideas how to disable these notifications? This is similar to another topic here, but that’s using Kaspersky Cloud and doesn’t work here.

acdoob replied to acdoob's topic in Kaspersky Total SecurityHello, I had an issue that was fixed with reinstalling Total Security. Basically, I had a remote connection open by itself (the service was on), and the windows diagnostic service was set to disabled. Every time I shut down the computer it said there was an application preventing the computer from shutting down and it turned out once I had re-enabled the diagnostic service, it was Total Security. Basically it said it was avpui.exe and that it had a hard fault. Recently I would have this issue as well where all of my USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external ssd) would turn off all at the same time. Was my antivirus infected, or compromised? I reinstalled Kaspersky, disabled the remote connection service (I tested it by setting it to automatic after reinstalling and it didn’t turn on like it would before) and so far the USB devices have stopped turning off. Also the program seems to be working fine now. No error at shut down, Game mode is also turning on now, which it wasn’t before and scans are now taking about 10 minutes longer almost like it previously wasn’t actually scanning. Is this something to be concerned about, or should I just consider it resolved? -

I need to waiting for 10 or 20 minutes and the internet will connect back, or I have to disconnected the router and reconnect get the internet back. I tried completed quick the Kaspersky Anti- Virus, and everything work fine. any one know what is going on? Please help me. -
Wie gesagt: das ist ein ganz normaler Netzwerkagent, dem per Richtlinie zusätzliche Funktionen zugewiesen werden. Funktioniert also auch mit Core-Servern. Theoretisch muss noch nicht mal ein Schutzprodukt installiert sein, wovon ich natürlich abraten würde. Meines Wissens können auch die Netzwerkagenten auf Linux und MacOS als Verbindungsgateway agieren. Habe es aber nie ausprobiert und kann nicht sagen, ob es da Einschränkungen gibt - bin zu sehr mit Windows verheiratet. Sonstige Anforderungen ergeben sich aus der Funktion in der DMZ: System sollte nicht im AD sein. Keine offenen Ports Richtung interne Netzwerksegmente.Eine Härtung nehme ich in der Regel über Kaspersky Security für Windows Server vor - also über das Schutzprodukt: Patchmanagement. Application Launch-Control. die üblichen Schutzmodule …Grüße Alex

Since the installation, the built in mouse & keyboard are no more working. Uninstalled Kaspersky with the removal tool has not fixed the problem! External keyboards/mouses are working without a problem ….. Anyone knows how to fix such a problem -

Guest posted a topic in Kaspersky Internet SecurityJust a note, KIS will not load and cannot be installed on MacOS 11.0 Big Sur. I recently became a beta tester and the current beta will not allow KIS to load, nor can you reinstall it. It will not even allow the installer to launch.
