Whenever there is a system reboot, WSL2’s virtual network adapter disappears from network center in control panel. It’ll appear again and connect to a network when WSL2 is launched. KIS doesn’t remember when an adapter functions like this. There is also no way to add/match this adapter to exclusion. I have to select ‘it’s a trusted network’ whenever i reboot and use WSL2. Would be nice if: I can make KIS know this adapter only spawns after i launch WSL2 after reboot. or, i can turn off “confirm my action for next 30 minutes” altogether or, there is exclusion rule to configure in KIS -

One more thing is I disabled all features from the Protection tab still the issue persists. But if I try after exit the Kaspersky, it is success -
Hello, Do you open the website with safe money which is a KL protection model (with a green border on the browser’s frame)? After more in-depth research, I found that this problem appeared in safe money environment. RoyalNavy replied to RoyalNavy's topic in Kaspersky Total SecurityIf I open the Ubiquiti Unifi Controller there is a button called “Launch a Browser to Manage the Network” and it opens the web brower with URL https://localhost<portnumber>/manage Windows 10 Pro (OS build 19041.572) 21.1.15.500 I think you misunderstood the whole thing. Unifi controller is not a hardware. I have Unifi Security Gateway as my router then Unifi switch and Wifi access points at home and Ubiquiti Unifi Controller is the software (or should I say a UI) that can manage and control the network hardwares. But for the router and other hardwares, I did try to reset and restart multiple times. Again, this is not an issue with the network hardware side. “This site can’t be reached” message is the default message on Chrome when the browser simply cannot reach the site. For example, if there is no Internet connection, I do get this message from any websites. But when there is connection, I do not see this message anywhere else. I am not sure exactly when this started happening. I only realised it when I tried to access the Unifi Controller on Chrome about a month ago. It could have started much earlier. Yes, I have. In fact, I have just tried it again and it did not fix the issue. Yes. I had the extension installed and the issue happened. I removed the extension and the issue still persists. Yes, it was always turned on. I have turned off but it does not make any difference. Yes, it is always turned on. I tried turning it off and even added the URL to the trusted URL list and the exception list but it did not fix the issue. No difference. No. As I said above the “This site can’t be reached” is displayed on Chrome and it is the default message when the browser simply cannot find and reach the URL. For example, if I try to open the Unifi Controller local host URL on Edge browser it says “Hmmm...can’t reach this page”. No, I have not. Please tell me how to log a technical support because I cannot find a way in KTS. It only gives me link to the Community or Support Tool (sending a report to technical support) or FAQ. -
Hello @miguelbell20050801, Welcome! KAV needs to access the entire device, including internal storage. KAV cannot do that as the Android does not let it. Is KIS installed on the mobile phone?KIS Android, has Quick scan, Folder scan & Full scan - all done directly on the mobile device. The scan features are available in the Premium & Free version. Recently, I installed in my Samsung Galaxy A70 (with Android Version 11), Kaspersky Internet Security Premium, Version 11.70.4.5882. However, it has since prevented me to connect Spotify and Android Auto through Bluetooth. I never got any error messages on my cellular. As a result of this, I took a quick glance at about 270 articles in your Kaspersky Community Webpage, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a solution for it. I hope that through the Kaspersky Community, I can obtain an adequate resolution to this predicament. Thanks to all of you for your time and assistance. -

tuberkulum replied to Nabin's topic in Kaspersky Rescue DiskI’ve the same DELL Laptop XPS15 9500 and the same problem: After language selection and grafic mode (simple/advanced) the screens go to black, the ventilator is sometimes working, waiting for >10 min, no change, still black screen, no keyboard reaction. Only hard reset works (power button for >10 sec) to get the PC back (boots normal). Some background infos: Windows10/64 (latest update) UEFI capabale USB disk created with RUFUS (as noted in https://support.kaspersky.com/14226#block1) DELL OneTime boot option (F12) started, UEFI USB disk found & selected Kasperky bootscreen shown (high resolution, language selection shown, selected English) 2nd level menu shown afterwards but none of the folliwing selections works => all enter into endless black screen -
Guest replied to a post in a topic in Kaspersky Anti-VirusHi, VeraCrypt works correctly on Kaspersky Rescue Disk, you just need to download and install VeraCrypt generic installer for Linux 32-bit and it will run without issue. First, open Terminal Emulator and then type the following commands: Download VeraCrypt: wget https://launchpad.net/veracrypt/trunk/1.24-update7/+download/veracrypt-1.24-Update7-setup.tar.bz2 Decompress downloaded archive: tar xvfz veracrypt-1.24-Update7-setup.tar.bz2 Install 32-bit version of VeraCrypt: ./veracrypt-1.24-Update7-setup-gui-x86 Launch VeraCrypt: veracrypt After this, VeraCrypt main window will appear and you can mount your volumes as usual. The only limitation is that double-clicking on mounted volume entry in VeraCrypt doesn’t open File Manager automatically and so you will need to manually navigate to /mnt/veracryptX mount point. KIS 21.3.10.391(d) MBAM Free v.4.4.2.123 ESTÁTUS: En MBAM: Licencia/Trial desactivado Startup desactivado Actualizaciones automáticas desactivadas No he puesto exclusionesEn KIS: Siguiendo lo que indica este enlace: Exclusiones para MBAM en Otros Antivirus - Página Oficial de MBAM , le he agregado exclusiones en el KIS hasta donde he podido, que no fue todo porque no encontré los drivers. O sea, mis exclusiones: No le agregué los web exclusions porque cuando corro MBAM, le he hecho Exit (NO Pausa) a todos los softwares de Kaspersky (KIS, VPN) y le desactivé las actualizaciones de fondo al MBAM, entonces no tiene por que conectarse a esos servidores mientras está funcionando KIS. Como a @JFNoda , me sale en Recomendaciones en KIS que desinstale MBAM, pero no me ha vuelto a salir la notificación popup de Windows. Lo he dejado ahí en Recomendaciones sin hacerle nada. OBSERVACIONES: Kaspersky Browser Extension en FireFox v. 89.0.2 - Se ve verde, se ve normal. A no ser que me esté engañando y algo que no se note no esté funcionando bien (no me he expuesto a propósito a un virus para probar), no veo nada diferente de lo normal. No he tenido fallas de internet. No he tenido pantalla azul (ojalá así siga todo) KIS Quick Scan y Full System Scan (deep settings) se tardan lo mismo en correr que con MBAM 4.3 (ese estaba sin exclusiones en ninguno de los 2 programas) No me ha pasado que no pueda interactuar con la interfaz de KIS, como le pasó a este usuario - Eso me pasó una vez cuando instalé MBAM la primera vez (v.4.3 hace varios meses) y con reiniciar el sistema (no Shut Down y volver a encender, sino Restart) se compuso y no ha vuelto a suceder. Tampoco me ha pasado desde la actualización a MBAM 4.4. Si noto cambio, regreso y reporto. Si da problemas, desinstalo el MBAM porque me quedo con KIS sí porque sí. Saludos y feliz fin de semana a todos! -

However, I had Windows reinstalled and now when I try to launch the app, it says it is not activated, I should log into my account and activate it. But when I log into my account, the Free Cloud is actually active until next June! It`s an absolute madness and renders the app unusable. Please advise.

Guest replied to zivshosh's topic in Kaspersky Anti-Virusthe streamer was “connected” with wi-fi but I didn’t see it in network, so I added a direct connection with ethernet cable and it still doesn’t see it. Since a streamer is a kind of computer (entertainment compuer without screen keyboard or mouse but with picture viewer and audio video players) I suspected the AV but since I tried everything I’ll try to search the router many thanks for your help

Guest posted a topic in Kaspersky Endpoint Security for BusinessHi After installing Kaspersky for Windows Server 11 on a physical Hyper-V Host running Windows Server 2016, the server has become completely unresponsive after reboot. The server will get to the Windows login screen (Where you have to press CTRL+ALT+DEL) but mouse and keyboard inputs are not detected. Also, the network card is shown as disconnected (though it is not) so I cannot RDP to the server. It is like no drivers are being loaded at all. iLO or other remote tool inputs are also not detected. Going into Safe Mode yields the same result - no input detected. Is there anything I can do to get onto the server and uninstall Kaspersky? Something like a bootable OS environment that has access to Kaspersky?

Hi @mverost , Some files contain objects, which actually can be other files within archives. A corrupted object can be one that is damaged, and does not perform properly. A corrupted object, just like a corrupted file, may occur due to a defect or bug in the software used to create and manipulate the file in question. Or there can be an issue with the hard drive. What I would recommend: Open cmd as administrator, run the command "chkdsk /f /R", restart PC, disk checking will launch. Also run: sfc /scannow to scan and repair a possibly corrupt Windows system. Hello @Anya, Welcome back! Yes, there’ve been other reports of a similar issue. Please clarify, which Kaspersky software (full name), version & patch(x) is installed, on the Windows Taskbar, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About ? If the software is KSC Free, the functions available for the Kaspersky protection extension are limited to the Kaspersky Onscreen virtual keyboard, disabling the Kaspersky Protection extension would not impact browser security. My program version is German (don’t know wher the version can be identified). Does not offer any Export option. Another question: Since appr.1year the KTS data base does not uptate automatically. I always have to update manually. The advice which was mentioned here does not fit for my version as the Germen menu seems to be quite different (no checkbox for uptate while idle) regards Sunwind -

To take a screen print, open the window/app to be captured, press the PrtScr key (normally top right of the Keyboard), open Paint, select Paste, Save the file, attach to your reply, using the Paperclip icon 📎 , however, when SafeMoney/Protected browser is running, screen prints cannot be taken, it’s a security measure implemented by Kaspersky to protect any financial information that may show, so you need to take an image with another device, a mobile phone for example, we’ve taken an image and cannot see “badge value(x) has access to this site” Please post back? It looks the antivirus catch my text, send it osomethere online to control it, and only after that ita appears on the box wehre Im typing. Making experience with computer extremely unpleasant, lot ot time wasted.. I can wait even 5 seconds to see the text. The first time I’ve experienced it I uninstalled Kaspersky antivirus and magically typing text bacem promplty and super fast (even to send it). Then installed it again (clean installation), at the beginning was fast too.. but day after day become slower. How can I disable completely the keyboard check? My antivirus **should** not check what I’m typing! Thanks

Bottom right corner of screen - see VIRUS Found and McAfee prompt with Answer now or Delete message buttons. This cycles through countless versions of that message. Win 10 Home edition, all patched up. Examples include: any many MANY more. Can’t get rid of it, even afte rrunning Quick scans, and a FULL scan that reported no issues. Funny enough, I’ve never had Mcafee on this machine. Suggestions/Guidance? My expectation was that this new product (picked up a 3 yr subscription) would have resolve it. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks.
