Re, I’ve desactivated the “trace files” option, restart the computer. Tried to launch FS2020, and now it works. Kaspersky’ bases are updated and the last ones (14/04/2021 - 08h55) For me, solved :)

KSK can only be managed by one MyKaspersky account → fact. The document heading is (KSK) Types of licenses and their differences in functionality. This: “The Premium version allows using the application full functionality for one My Kaspersky account only. One My Kaspersky account can be connected to 100 children profiles and 500 devices.” is poorly presented. It *implies* that’s it’s specific to KSK Premium. The two statements should be separated as follows: “The Premium version allows using the application full functionality for one My Kaspersky account only. Meanwhile, I was curious to try the “Free” version of the “Safe Kids” module and found some interesting features in there. The “Site-restrictions” feature is provided as part of the “Safe Kids” module….. I will try that in the next couple of days and post my responses here… In case someone is interested in implementing such a rule, please do install the “Safe Kids” module... Hello @niklen, Welcome back! No, Quick scan is different Background scan. Do the following: Select Settings⚙ Manage Settings Export Settings → save the KSC configuration file. Restore Settings (to Default). Shutdown the computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power on, login, make sure KSC is running, monitor to see if the Background scan runs within 24hours of the reset?Please let us know the outcome? hi, am on win10 64bit, KSC free 21.3.10.391(g) i understand the background scan is to be run daily… mine hasn’t been run in 3 days i have tried disabling/enabling it and restarting the program but nothing works. is there any other way to trigger it or how else can i execute a rootkit search? would quick scan do that too?

The scan from 1:27 is started by me. However, around 2:30pm - 3:00pm i received another notification that a quick scan just concluded.

Thank you for explaining the 3 points above. Why does Kaspersky make it so complicated? The average user doesn't know all these rules and wants things to be straightforward. Please clarify: By ‘forced scanning’, I assume you mean Explorer Scan. If the 3 points are done as you said, what about Full Scan or Quick Scan? Will 1.exe still be detected?I had excluded entire program folders according to the 3 points. But my program still didn't work properly untii I uninstalled KSC. Perhaps the Trusted Applications section too didn't work or perhaps System Watcher kept on blocking my program. KSC Free doesn't allow us to control or exclude programs in System Watcher.I used KSC Free, and Kaspersky AV Free before that, since they first came out and they didn't interfere with my programs. It was only recently so I still think that something is wrong with latest version.

using Security cloud free, OS: win10 64bit i keep seeing these Event: Object not processed errors in file scan for same data0000 file across 3 different files - is it a malware? quick and full scans flag no issues, i checked these exe files on virustotal and they came back clean:

I just got force-upgraded to 21.2 grrrrr…... I wanted Safe Money on windows 10 taskbar. Do this: Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 21.2 Right-click avpui.exe, select Pin to Taskbar On the taskbar - right-click the icon that was just created. In the popup menu, RIGHT-CLICK “Kaspersky Anti-Virus” and select Properties. In the Target box of the Shortcut Tab - it should say “C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 21.2\avpui.exe” Outside the closing double quote, add “-safebanking” so the Target now reads: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 21.2\avpui.exe” -safebanking Click Apply, then Save. All done - clicking the KIS icon in taskbar will launch KIS, but take you directly to Safe Money screen.

Just to make sure that I understand the process correctly, you mean the new KSC server must have the SSL certificate and master keys for FDE and FLE of the old server (through backup restoration) before I can test the encryption key export and re-import procedure?
