  1. MacbkAir-M1-2020-BigSur-11.5.2
Macbook Air M1-2020 16gb Big Sur v. 11.5.2 Around 28th August 2021, KPM stopped opening. When I launch the app manually, a blank window opens, with a timer in the middle labelled “Starting...”. After some delay, several paragraphs of text fill the window, for less than a second, but not enough time to read anything. The text then disappears and the “Starting...” timer comes back for around 20-30 seconds, and the cycle begins again. In the meantime, I have no KPM functions on my laptop. I have deleted the app from the Macbook, and then reloaded KPM from the App Store, and relaunched. But the same blank window returns, flashes a bunch of text, and repeats the above cycle, over and over. Any ideas or suggestions? … Maybe a bug in the KPM App?

Thank you for the quick response, Changing profile protection is via android user account login options (e.g., pattern, PIN and face). Similar to Win10/Win11 login. With that, I found the expert claim debatable, and it will be a great help having KSK support multiple user profile on a single device. Looking forward for resolution, ZK

I also noticed that another user had the same issue, and it was suggested to uninstall, and reinstall to that user. Why doesn’t the installation update upon launch, if so configured? That is the main thing which I want to do anyway, update at least daily.

For over a week now I have been able to launch Battle.net, however NONE of the Call of Duty games will connect. If I exit out completely from Kaspersky Total Security I connect just fine. I did attempt to add the programs to the list of exclusions, but that didn’t work either. Any help or suggestions would be great!

Is it possible using KSK 1.24.0.1566 to disable the quick access drop down menu on Android 7 device? I have disabled access to settings app on the phone, but quick access is still accessible. This makes GPS location feature useless since my son just turns off location services. Thanks in advance.

In addition what richbuff mention... Keep in mind Quick scan duration is much faster than Full scan.. Because Quick scan scans only critical places...FUll scan scanning all computer (all disks) . Also if you run full scan once (must finish) next time full scan duration is only few minutes approx 9 - 15 min in mine case... Because kaspersky scanning then only new or changed files.. Run Full Scan and waitt only for finish.. Hope i helped..

Dear sir, I am a software developer. And my company provide me a machine with Kaspersky End-point Security. The issue I have is whenever I need to launch my application and debug it, every few minutes, I fall for Self-Signed certificate errors, which seeing that is sometime hurtful. Are there any mode such as developer mode, which a limited user like me can also activate on the machine (I currently granted Local Admin permission due to remote work, but naturally we are User, and network admins are not available all the times). That this mode could help developer to experience a better User Experience? The issue may seem to be OK temporarily, but it hurts while debugging, and I may need to ask my CTO to grant me permission to remove this software. Thank you, Hassan.

поддержка помогла. Вот после этого всё заработало: 2. Launch Integration Server console 5.2 3. Go to Infrastructure connection settings and delete all Hyper-V, connected with this SCVMM 4. Close Integration Server console 5. In the folder C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky VIISLA Console\data\ rename the file "persisted-hosts".

Several times over the past month my keyboard’s completely stopped letting me type but commands like ctrl+alt+delete still work fine. Finally figured out that if I exit KIS it comes right back. Any idea why it’s doing this or how to stop it?

So if I would have a program running, that has malicious files inside it's data folder, but those malicious files wouldn;'t be itself able to "escape" the program and cause any harm, would it still be detected by Quick scan? Because I had this game(Garry's mod) running and probably in one of the encypted(non-executable) files was some kind of adware or something that was detected by Kaspersky after that by using Quick scan. After deleting the game with all it's files the detection stopped. The weird thing is, that Kaspersky didn't have anything in the "Reports" or "Quarantine" and also full scans that happened like minutes before starting the game found nothing.

Hi, I have Kaspersky. Today a new issue happened with all my browsers (Chrome, Edge and Firefox) When I try to launch a browser and go online, all the pages don't load. All I have is a message saying that the website (ex: youtube.com) is temporary unaccessible or was moved permanently. ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR When I start another program like steam, it's able to connect to the internet. Same with the windows 10 update center. When I deactivate Kaspersky Internet Security app, all my browsers behave normally. It's only when I reactivate it that I lose my connection to most website I use. Eveything was fine for the past year so I don't understand what happened? Thx for your help!

Hello @billpete, You’re most welcome! Thank you for taking the time to update us👌 We understand you encountered an issue & to manage that, you’ve selected manage KIS manually, however, this is not recommended → KIS should be configured to launch automatically. When you have time, please update us with how the current install is behaving? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 +🐋

First I want thank everyone for their help. But the problem persists. I have a case open with tech support and will detail their suggestions further down. In the mean time, I'm wondering about the following in KIS: How do I know if a scheduled scan ran? I don't see any status for my overnight scheduled scans in the Scan window pane as I do for my manually run scans. Where should the scheduled scan status appear so I can know if they completed successfully overnight? (Or maybe they didn't complete, so I'm not seeing the status?) From a Google search, it appears that Kaspersky once included an unistaller option as part of the install process. Selecting uninstall would thoroughly remove Kaspersky and it's components across all directories on the computer. I no longer see this feature in the installer. How do I completely remove Kaspersky so I can try reinstalling from scratch? Is there an option to fully uninstall Kaspersky or do I have to find a 3rd party utility or manually traverse every location where Kaspersky left its footprints and remove files manually? I thoroughly removed Malwarebytes last night. They provide an easily accessible Uninstall option from a pull-down menu. Tech support suggested running Disk Utility which will check for correct permissions across my entire disk drive. No issues found, permissions are fine. I did this even though it does not explain why KIS runs to completion sometimes and not others. If there were a permissions problem, I would assume that the scans would always exhibit the same problem of not completing. However, they complete sometimes and not others. I ran a manual Quick-Scan this morning and it hung. I quit KIS, killed the kav process, relaunched KIS then ran a manual Quick-Scan (5 minutes) and Full-Scan (40 minutes) and they completed. BUT, I had to kill and relaunch KIS first which is not acceptable. Tech support also wants me to enable Tracing in KIS. Run some scans, run the KLlogs gather tool, and send them the SendToKL.zip file. I sent the SendToKL.zip last time but I did not have Tracing enabled. They also want scan reports. Easier said than done because if the scan hangs, it doesn't generate a report. It will generate a beautiful report if the scan finishes. Hmm. I'll keep fighting this for a while. I may even try installing KIS on a couple older Macs with macOS 10.13 and 10.11. I'm wondering if KIS has been thoroughly tested on macOS 10.14 Mojave. I'm not yet sure why I'm having these problems but appreciate the support!

Hi @Flood and Flood's wife I finally got round to uninstalling and reinstalling yesterday. I can’t thank you enough for your detailed instructions. The only thing I came across that was different was that during the installation I had to do something relating to Not launch KIS automatically and select something else - I tried but something went wrong and I couldn’t work out how to get back to that stage... However it is still working today. Previously, over the last few weeks I’ve been monitoring KIS daily and I’ve found that on charging the phone once the charge has reached 100% and it’s been at 100% for a while - it is at that point that KIS stops running and when I reboot KIS does not load on startup. If I catch it before it reaches 100% then KIS still runs and if I reboot, KIS loads on startup. I’ll keep an eye on it daily and see how it goes when charging and report back in about a week (or sooner if it goes wrong :)) Thank you both again for your amazing support!! Pete PS - re the bit where it ‘went wrong’ above I made a note. KIS said to turn Manage Automatically to OFF and turn Manage Manually ON That’s the bit where something happened and I couldn’t get back to it.

Just to inform Kaspersky that they are abusing in their restrictions: I lost a day to figure out why Docker stopped working, it’s just when I understood why that I reminded I was spammed by the Kaspersky notifications about the threat of file names in Linux being dangerous since they are case-sensitive… I clicked ok just to get rid of that noisy notification and it cost me a day of work This is what I posted on the Docker forum: I had this error, and none of the above solutions worked for me (deleted working files, reinstalled, run the command -switchDeamon): It showed out that the origin of the error could be Kaspersky that is locking some features having linx in windows, since I realized that even my Ubuntu under windows didn’t start. For that I found a fix here that made docker work back too: WslRegisterDistribution failed with 0x80070422 · Issue #3815 · microsoft/WSL · GitHub where you should basically run in a CMD windows with administrator rights: sc config LxssManager start=auto Just for a reference and for others to be able to find the error in google, here’s the error I was getting: System. ApiServices.WSL2.WslShortLivedCommandResult.LogAndThrowIfUnexpectedExitCode(String prefix, ILogger log, Int32 expectedExitCode) dans \workspaces\PR-16070\src\github.com\docker\pinata\win\src\Docker.ApiServices\WSL2\WslCommand.cs:ligne 146 à Docker.Engines.WSL2.WSL2Provisioning.d__17.MoveNext() dans https://forums.docker.com/t/docker-for-windows-wont-launch/15725/41

I installed Kasperky Internet Security then ran a Quick-Scan and tried a Full-Scan. Both were taking an extremely long time and would not finish. I think I was able to make Kasperky Internet Security work properly after Force Quiting (killing) the kav process using Activity Monitor, rebooting my Mac, then relaunching Kasperky. Quick-Scans now complete in about 5-minutes, and Full-Scans take about 45 minutes. It's working now. Thanks.

Hello, thank you for your quick response. I am able to access the website just fine on any device not running Kaspersky. If you look at the attached it is showing the SSL as valid both in Chrome and on the GoDaddy website. Can you please explain how you are seeing the SSL is revoked? I have also checked at sites like https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=bethycreek.com and it is saying the SSL is good. Thanks
