I'm sorry, I can't do this VPN stuff. Have nothing but computer problems, waiting for a new keyboard, the very last thing I need is more computer crap. Just decided to wrap up my projects in the US and get the hell out while we still can.

When this *similar* issue happened - that (you) observed around 12th May 2024, was a topic raised by (you), we cannot find any? OR perhaps (you) escalated it to Kaspersky? *IF* the report was logging *path* for Quick, Full, Background etc - potentially there could be thousands of paths in the report... Our Background & Quick scan from the 11th of June 2024 or the 15th of May 2024: May 2024, Selective scan, shows path, see image Thank you? Flood?+?

On Windows 10 is there a way to keep apps from running in the background and block their network activity, but only when they are not running? When I launch the apps I would like them to run and connect to the internet, and when I shut them down I want them to be blocked from running in the background and connecting to the internet. Also is it possible to block network activity for an app with exceptions? Like when I click on "Check for updates" then it would be allowed to connect. Or even allow it to connect to certain domains always so it can check for updates by itself, but block any other of its attempted internet connections always. ?

Thru KIS (application) SafeMoney 2. Thru (browser) KIS Protection extension (B) The issue in not SafeMoney Secure Keyboard (1) The issue is Secure Data Input "popup", in secure fields the Secure Data Input "popup" should be visible (2) The second related issue is, minuscule Keyboard that "sometimes" displays in profile/password fields, the "sometimes" is the problem, in secure fields the mini KB should be visible. Thanks for taking the trouble to try and help me. I am sure it is me who may be slow to comprehend but I had a bit of difficulty following your examples in terms of what this means for my situation. Can I say what I think you mean and ask that you confirm? I use Chrome and Safe Money and as I said I am still on KIS 2019. On my online banking site and other sites such as Amazon and other online retailers where I make payments I enter these in Safe Money. Once in any of my Safe Money sites I use the Secure Keyboard to login in. Currently on KIS 2019 I find that on any Safe Money site I can only get the Secure Keyboard by simultaneously pressing Shift,Ctrl and Alt keys with P to obtain the Secure Keyboard. This is not a problem for me to do this I think that you are saying that currently if my browser is Google Chrome I lose the Secure Keyboard facility and if for example tomorrow the auto update setting were to upgrade me to KIS 2020, I could still get into my Safe Money site but would have to use the actual keyboard and not the Secure Keyboard?. Kaspersky however recognises this as a problem and is working to resolve this issue with Chrome? Have you any idea how long it will take K to resolve this and will K still upgrade me to 2020 even if this problem has not been fixed? Secondly on other sites which I do not have in my Safe Money list but in which I still use the Secure Keyboard to login simply by pressing the green icon which brings up the Secure Keyboard, will the Secure Keyboard not be available if I am upgraded to 2020? If I lose the benefit of the Secure Keyboard on all these sites including those not in Safe Money will this also be resolved by K engineers? Hi. I haven't blocked the camera in Quick Settings. When I try out Mugshot from My Kaspersky, I receive an email saying that the response is "OK" but I never get a mugshot. Hello @GuiBesb, Welcome! *READ: Kaspersky for Windows, Background Scan - especially the parameters that control Background Scans* *As FYI - the Rootkit scan is run as a part of the Full Scan & the Quick Scan* *Second 'tip', IF (you) haven't done so, for Full & Quick Scans -> *after* running a clean scan, select -> Scan only new and modified files. Export Kaspersky Settings - see Manage Settings images at the end of reply. Restore Kaspersky Settings - see Manage Settings images at the end of reply. *Don't import Kaspersky Settings/config file while the problem is being worked on* Shutdown the computer using SHUTDOWN, not Restart, power computer ON by pressing the power button, login. Make sure Kaspersky Plus is running. Don't *manually* run a Rootkit scan, wait for it to run. Hello @KIS21User, Welcome back! 1. Don't be frightened! 2. Spinme is shipped with the Touchpal default keyboard. 3. IF you haven't already -> back up the phone: contacts, sms, calendars, whatever you consider important! 4. Disable the TouchPal keyboard and replace it with the Gboard – the Google Keyboard app, follow the steps below: Open the phone Settings menu. Tap on Settings Scroll thru to find Apps or Apps manager. Tap on Apps, or App Manager. Find and tap on TouchPal. The Apps screen with all the installed apps will open. Scroll thru until you find the TouchPal app. Tap on Touchpal to open TouchPal Details Select Force Stop -> allow it to STOP. Select Uninstall -> allow the uninstall to complete. At that point Google Keyboard should have replaced Touchpal? Shutdown, power OFF, the phone, leave it OFF for 3 minutes. Power ON, login. Check if the Spinme issue is resolved? Yes? Excellent, work, well done? No?, IF KIS is a Premium subscription, not Free, Beta, or Trial, please contact Support, on the support page, select either Chat or Email, then fill in Malware, I suspect my device is infected; Support may request logs, traces & other data; they will guide you. Hi Running Windows 10 - Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3930) I have Kaspersky Premium 21.15.8.943a Every few days my Kaspersky VPN becomes completely non-responsive. I am unable to launch the app at all. A common trait is that auto-sign in fails, and I can see the Kaspersky VPN icon in the tray being grey. I can't right-click it, only way to end the task is through task manager. Once I end the task, it still fails to launch when I try to reopen. When I uninstall and reinstall Kaspersky VPN, it typically fixes the issue...But the issue comes back in a few days. It will resolve itself, but has a pattern of not launching for a few days each week. Any help is greatly appreciated!

HI, thanks for your speedy reply. I managed to find the file in the quarantine and was quick to delete it. I have also updated my Kaspersky software (thanks for the heads-up, wouldn't have known to otherwise) did another scan after all your advice and it read safe so I am very relieved. Thanks again so much and I'm just happy Kaspersky itself dealt with the malware so fantastically. My confidence in the software has only been bolstered after this.

Hi all I cannot get Kaspersky Premium to run as when I click on the icon to run it I get a page with the message that the subscription is blocked, however in "My Kaspersky" it is showing the license is still active with 235 days remaining and all 5 devices linked. I first noticed this yesterday when I tried logging on to my bank and it wouldn't because "Safe Money" couldn't run. That's when I clicked on the Icon to go to the settings. I can't find anything pertaining to this after a quick search. Any suggestions? Cheers Keith Windows 10 all up to date

There seems to be some issues with Kaspersky Safe Kids 23.0.0.418 and Fortnite - Which both my kids play regularly. When launching the game it will hang and then leave me no choice but to restart the computer (can't even open task manager). Even when disabling Kaspersky Safe Kids this issue still persists. Only when I fully un-install the application does the game work again. I can replicate this by then installing Safe Kids again which will produce the crash on launch. I can only assume Safe Kids is trying to capture what is happening when the anti-cheat or the game itself is loading - I don't even have app monitoring on. I've dabbled with quite a few of the settings and still can't get it working. I would like the peace of mind knowing safe kids is installed but at the moment it's unusable due to this fact (I can't even pause it - The program has to be totally un-installed) - I have tried a full re-install which doesn't help - I even did a fresh install of Windows 11 trying to cure the issues until I pinpointed it to Safe Kids. Can you offer any advice? I'd be happy to grab logs if that's possible.

In Performance Settings PC performance optimization, make sure Launch Kaspersky at computer startup (recommended) is *checked* IF Kaspersky is not working / running / active, in Windows security there will be alerts & the Kaspersky icon will not be present in Windows *Hidden icons* Another tip, sometimes, finding Kaspersky features in the GUI, can be a little difficult - use the SEARCH field & a simple word search: Thank you? Ok, so a very old, pirated copy of cubase, had its executable detected by kaspersky, as not-a-virus:RiskTool.Win32.DefenderDisabler.k, is detected as a low risk item, there are no other trojans or viruses surrounding it, just the executable of the program that got detected, it did not get flagged under quick scan or real time protection, only in a full scan, it doesnt get deleted or quarantined automatically, I did install it, but I havent ran that program in at least around 5 years, is there any chance it actively puts my system in danger? Its not a keygen, or anything like that, is the actual cubase executable, which seems to be modified as its icon its different than the standart cubase icon, still I had not executed it in years, and windows defender did not detect it in a full scan before a installed kaspersky, should I be worried? I got a notification around 2.55pm today (20 Nov 2024) from Kaspersky saying malicious object detected: HEUR:Trojan.Multi.Misslink.a I clicked on it too clickly and was not able to check what the detection item actually was, to diagnose where it came from. Here are the 3 logs for disinfection: How or what can I check or use to determine the source of this registry key that was so threatening? I want to know what malicious launch activity it was doing while disguising itself with Run:Steam.

Windows 10 Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1348) Kaspersky Total Security Application Version 21.3.10.391 For several weeks Full Scan on my HP Laptop gets stuck on 1% and trying to take any action results in a complete ‘lock up’ of the p.c. I then have to do a ‘hard reset’ (press power button for several seconds) to turn it off. ‘Do not unpack large compound files’ is set to max. file size of 100MB but it makes no difference. I can successfully run ‘Full Scan’ in ‘Safe Mode’!!! ‘Windows Defender’ Full Scan runs without any issues and I have ‘Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office’ installed, and that also can run a ‘Full Scan’ also without any issues. I have therefore decided to disable my automatic full scan schedule in Kaspersky and use these other scan methods instead until a solution can be found. All other Kaspersky scans run without any issues, e.g. Quick / Vulnerability etc,
