We use Endpoint Security Cloud and it seems like after every major update we have a handful of devices with the following messages: -Security application is installed but it is not running. -Security application is installed but real-time protection is disabled. Restarting the client does not help. The only fix seems to be manually removing Kaspersky and reinstalling, which can be time consuming. Is there a quicker repair fix for this?

After the latest Kaspersky VPN update, the service has become practically unusable for anyone who needs accurate manual location selection. Here is a concrete example: I manually select Taiwan as the VPN location whatismyipaddress.com identifies the IP as Pakistan ipinfo.io identifies the same IP as Taiwan Other services sometimes identify it as Germany This is not about “hiding my real location” — that part works fine and is obvious to everyone using a VPN. The real issue is that manual location selection no longer corresponds to a consistent or reliable IP geolocation. In practice, this means: different websites see me as being in different countries at the same time services that rely on strict geolocation either block access or behave unpredictably the selected country becomes more of a label than an actual location Support responded with a generic explanation of how VPNs hide real locations, which completely misses the point. What users actually need to know is: are these locations virtual locations? does Kaspersky VPN still guarantee country-accurate IP addresses when a user manually selects a country? If the answer is “no”, that should be stated clearly in the UI and documentation. At this point, the unfortunate conclusion is that Kaspersky VPN has significantly degraded after the update, while the Kaspersky Antivirus product remains excellent and reliable. I’m posting this here not to complain for the sake of complaining, but to get a clear technical explanation and hopefully prevent other users from wasting time troubleshooting something that is actually a design decision.

Hello , Since the last update ( November ) of Kaspersky VPN where most of the region were greyed / not supported anymore , my VPN started to act weirdly. I have actually Kaspersky Premium ( 1 device / 1 year ) so I have unlimited VPN , so here are my problems : - VPN keeps disconnecting for no reason , no matter the country because I tried several different ones and the issue is still the same . - Each time the VPN tries to reconnect , it keeps creating a new Local Area Connection (WG Nt Adapter) , now it's the 73rd time it has created a new Local Area Connection. - The VPN interface is slow to react when I turn off the VPN the grey switch slider thing takes like 5 sec to turn off or sometimes I have to minimize the interface for it to be effective. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Thanks.

I have been running Kaspersky Endpoint 11.4.0 for Linux on Linux Mint 22.1 and have been telling Kaspersky for two years that they should package their Endpoint for Linux for home users - and after downloading the Kaspersky for Linux install kit and installing it have to say that it looks like that is what they have done. Installation looks almost the same and module names are the same. Not yet having a license I don't know what the Kaspersky for Linux GUI looks like. I attached a picture of the Endpoint window so perhaps someone can say if it's similar. Kaspersky support in late December told me that Kaspersky for Linux is available in the following countries: Australia South Africa Hong Kong Philippines Singapore Azerbaijan Kazakhstan Belarus If you are interested in Kaspersky Endpoint for Linux a license can be purchased from Laptops with Linux in the EU. I don't have the Kaspersky Endpoint kit download links at hand right now to post. [Found it: here] Since I do not live in the EU in order to activate it I had to VPN into the EU - after activation no problem as long as it can access the Kaspersky update servers.

This is honestly the worst update I’ve ever seen. The removal of essential features, such as the router feature, protocol selection, and dual VPN, has significantly reduced the functionality and flexibility that made this VPN worth using in the first place. On top of that, reducing the number of available servers and introducing a new data-processing agreement tied to PureVPN raises serious concerns for me. Please bring back the previous version or restore the features that were removed. The “new infrastructure” may meet internal standards, but from a user perspective, this update feels like a major downgrade. If this direction continues, you will likely lose long-time customers who relied on the tools and privacy options that you’ve now taken away.

Today, I updated my laptops ssd and after installing windows I download the kaspersky antivirus from my sub window. when it get install it says buy subscription as I already have one year subscription in my antivirus

After a forced update of kaspersky VPN, the list of servers reduced from 100 to 86 and I lost the double VPN tab. Now I can't use double VPN anymore. Anyone have any idea why?

In Windows 7 with updates I have installed Kaspersky Free 21.23.6.614 and it worked good. I performed update and patch A is installed. After restart I have a crash of Kaspersky. Specifically i try connecting to Canada - Toronto, which works but then i try connecting to dnsleaktest.com and i try and get this: nslookup dnsleaktest.com Server: unn-149-50-222-3.datapacket.com Address: 149.50.222.3 *** unn-149-50-222-3.datapacket.com can't find dnsleaktest.com: Server failed so i had to go into the network adapter called "Kaspersky VPN WG Nt Adapter Tunnel" and manually set the DNS to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare’s DNS) and 8.8.8.8 and had to set "obtain ip address automatically" in the ipv4 properties. im guessing there is a configuration issue on kaspersky's end since its a new vpn update? I also tried to set the firewall inbound UDP remote ports to allow any address from 53 and 51820 (supposedly a wire guard default port) i also tried with TCP ports but that didnt work. I hope this helps admin to realize and fix it, but yeah right now your VPN's DNS is kinda working for some sites and not for others. also sad to see you removed montreal server, now theyre all gonna flock to toronto :c also trying to use "Fastest Server" results in connecting to Bangladesh and having my ip show in paris, like what? lol

After updating WIndows, specifically the 2025-11 Security Update (KB5068861), Kaspersky VPN's window a red "connection unavailable" banner and I cannot turn on VPN at all, even though my Internet connection is still fine. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello. I had a Kaspersky VPN that was working perfectly. With the latest update, my NAT setting for online games was changed from "Moderate" to "Strict." I'm experiencing significant lag and increased ping in games. I also noticed that some important settings in the program settings have been removed. (Catapult Hydra and Wireguard options have been removed.) - (DNS configuration page has been removed.) I kindly ask you to fix these issues as soon as possible. I don't want to look for another VPN. Im extremely pissed with this new update. Im forced to work from a very strict public wifi, which blocked many ports. With this VPN I used to have a fast and reliable connection to work with, now I can NOT even CONNECT to the VPN anymore because they removed the ability to select the protocols. The product is literally no longer usable for me after the update. This update has to be illegal.

Weitere Info: selbst auf meinem Tablet von Xiaomi gibt es Probleme mit dem Update. Es gelingt einfach nicht - so wie auf dem Google Pixel. Lade ich die APK von Kaspersky herunter und installiere diese - nach Anleitung, verbleibt Version 11.129.4.14969. Komische Sache 😕

I can see from the forum that many people have issues with the new update. None of the current threads address my issue, so here's yet another tale of woe. I recently received an update to the VPN service on 3 of my computers. Two of those computers are windows based and still work after the update - albeit with a reduced feature set. The final computer is a 2017 15 inch MacBook Pro which is only used to view media. This computer can no longer connect to the VPN at all. I was advised to remove and redownload the application, but the new version of the application is listed on the app store as only working with MacOS14+ and this MacBook is not compatible with any OS above 13. The support page ( https://www.kaspersky.co.uk/vpn-secure-connection#systemrequirements|vpn ) still lists the application as working on MacOS13+, but the old application could no longer connect and I cannot download the new application. Am I just completely out of luck here? I don't really want to go out and pay for another VPN unless I really have to.

Huhu Ich bekomme den Hinweis auf ein notwendiges VPN Update im Programm Kaspersky Premium angezeigt, oben in Form eines Briefumschlags. Von dort habe ich nach Anleitung die APK heruntergeladen. Versionssprung, wie gesagt, von 11.129.4.14969-1 auf 11.129.4.14969-2 🙂

So, wie durch ein Wunder bin ich nach wiederholtem herunterladen der APK auf Version Version: 11.129.4.14969-2 (vorher 1!) gelandet. Leider wird mir trotzdem wiederholt angezeigt, dass ein wichtiges App-Update für VPN vorliegt. Nervig 🙂 Ist nun die Frage, ob ich die aktuelle Version für mein Telefon habe oder nicht (auch das VPN betreffend). Wie bereits gesagt, in den Stores von Xiaomi und Samsung wird Version: 11.129.4.15102 angeboten.

Witzig dabei ist nur, dass ich schon mehrfach in der Vergangenheit (einige Monate her)eine Benachrichtigung direkt aus der Kaspersky App erhalten hab, das ein Update vorliegt. Dieses Update wurde dann auch – per APK Datei – einwandfrei installiert.
