Why does KEDR need for?

Can someone explain why does KEDR for? I have read tons of documentation but I couldn’t find real example how to use it. It seems like KEDR provides same functionality like just Endpoint security for business. PS I had experience with KES for business and KEDR for business and found nothing differenece. Tanks!
