Hi,
Could you please attach GSI log from affected host to your reply?
Thank you!

I added that file to the exclusion list at one point. I’m pretty sure we had experienced that same issue randomly.

I’m running 11.2 on Windows 10 computers and they’ll look fine at first, but give them a few days and all of my client modules stop running & I get red Xs in the GUI. In the logs it says that tasks were unable to run due to instability. I was given pf6012 which I thought was doing the trick, and I was told that it fixes some leaking issues, which is exactly what this feels like because I’ve had some buffer overrun messages pop up, but I now have a handful of computers that, on the latest patch I was given, still have this error.

Running pf6012 with 11.2
//Mod Note: moved to the correct section.

I retract what I said...the patch ended up not working. I have a ticket open with them but it's going slowly. I have ended up rolling back many machines to 11.0.1.90 because of it.

Anyway...pf7517 did the trick

How would I go about finding that out?

Restarting the whole computer doesn't fix it for me. It still says "failure" and "protection is off" and the instability error.

Generally speaking, what would cause me to get an "instability" error on a computer? Running 11.1.1.126 Event type: Task cannot be performed Application\Name: Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM (Initiator) Component: File Threat Protection Result\Description: Cannot start task Object: File Threat Protection Object\Type: Subsystem Object\Name: File Threat Protection Reason: functionality disabled due to instability

Is anyone else getting "functionality disabled due to instability"? [MOVED]
