[Kaspersky scanning removable drives change user]

Hello,

We are using IVANTI device control for USB device rights. We are giving permissions to domain users for USB devices read/write operations.

When domain users have read/write rights and connect USB devices to their computers kaspersky endpoint security can't scan USB devices.

We can see in logs that NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM user tried to access for read/write operation.

Is it possible to change kaspersky user for scanning?

We don't think it would be safe approach to giving NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM user read/write permissions for each USB devices.

It would be great if we can use scan removable drives while IVANTI device control application installed in devices.

[KSC Firewall Application Network Rules No Applications Appears]

Hello,

I am testing kaspersky endpoint security firewall in test environment. 

Network package rules works fine but when I want to add application there is no application appear on list.

I am masking with * and tried a lot of things still there is no application.

There are a lot of applications installed in test computers. How can I list them here?

[Windows Desktop Sharing Problem]

Hi,

 

We deployed a slave server and testing it.

Slave servers will be used for laptops to connect from both internet and intranet wifi zone.

Test laptops can connect from internet and wifi zone to slave server using port 13000 TLS without problem.

We can make remote desktop sharing to laptops when they are connected to wifi zone without a problem.

 

When laptops connect slave server from internet, we are trying to remote desktop sharing, Slave server try to connect the private ip (internet service provider that assigned to laptop) from 15000 port. Of course KSC can not acccess to another network’s private ip so it fails. 

How can we make remote desktop sharing to laptops that connected to internet from slave server? Slave server allowed for Kaspersky ports and laptops don’t have firewall etc..

When we unselect “Use UP port (15000)” we can’t make remote desktop sharing from both internet and wifi zone. It pop ups transport level  error while connecting to localhost: general error 0x4e5
