Windows10 version 22H2 19045.2788
Kaspersky application version 21.3.10.391 (h)
I recently performed a backup of my PC on an external hard drive just before I needed to replace my SSD and re-install windows10.
STEP 1: Through Kaspersky Total Security
When trying to recover my files from said hard-drive through Kaspersky Total Security, for some reason I have two files as option (see screenshot below)
The file below contains the most recent backup, so this is the one I'm opting for. However, as you can see below, it tells me that there are no files to choose from. It takes quite some time to load, which tells me that there must be something. Same thing with the file above from the previous screenshot, I get the same prompt after some loading time.
STEP 2: Through Backup File Folder in external hard drive (Kaspersky Restore Utility)
The backup folder has a last modified date of my most recent backup, which I thought was encouraging. When clicking on it, Kasperky detects two backup tasks, same case as described above.
Again, when selecting the most recent one, this time the error is completely the opposite as the first step, I get a message saying "the storage contains too many files to display"
this link mentioned a similar problem, however it was in a more controlled environment so I have no way of reproducing the situation since I'm specifically looking to restore my files. Any help is greatly appreciated
