Luminous, I agree with you 100%, they are two different applications for different needs, regardless of what Kaspersky wishes we to believe, MalwareBytes has protected me for years, as well as Kaspersky, just in different ways. I too think it’s a deceitful practice Kaspersky has done to force? —or try to convince us to uninstall MalwareBytes which I will not do and yes, you are correct in your last paragraph, agree!
