The server was based on the other side of the world and i managed to use 74 Mb of my allotted 300 Mb. You seem to be missing the point that Kaspersky “free” VPN is crap by design. Making people jump through hoops and uninstalling and reinstalling software wont fix pathetic VPN server locations compared to the client. Yes, obviously PREMIUM users choose a location that actually has more bandwidth allocated than the woeful free servers. Why do i need to pay for the “premium” service when KIS is advertised as already having VPN? If the “standard” VPN doesnt work (which it clearly doesnt) then why include or advertise it? As an Australian customer, the standard VPN is crap which seems by design.

I bought Kaspersky KIS to use VPN which is bundled. They forgot to tell buyers the VPN is pathetic and doesnt work. In over a week i have only managed to connect once and it was appallingly slow. 99.9 % of attempts to start VPN fails. WTF is your problem Kaspewsky? Too fkn cheap to supply VPN as promised with your 1920s servers hidden away in Crimea somewheres? Considering a refund and ditching this service.
