Toblikrator

Two computers. Both set up with the Brother ADS-2700W scanner. Scanner worked fine. On one, I purchased & installed Kaspersky Small Office. On the other, I kept on using Avast free antivirus. That is the only difference between the two computers. The scanner is now ‘offline’ to the computer that has Kaspersky, but still works fine from the computer protected by Avast. How can I tell Kaspersky to let the scanner work?
