If you have Norton installed on your system when installing Kaspersky you will get a popup telling you that incompatible software needs to be removed. Kaspersky installer tells you it will do it for you when you click the button to restart your computer. Just one problem - Norton doesn’t get completely uninstalled and Kaspersky installer re-prompts you every time the computer is restarted. You can try to manually uninstall Norton and even edit registry keys, but that doesn’t work either. The solution I found is to use the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool (NRnr.exe) located here: [Deleted] After running this tool, Kaspersky continued its install and there were no more hangups.
