Sandboxie is a well known sandbox software that was made open-source recently. I found out that a process of Kaspersky, plugins_nms.exe, causes sandboxed browsers to malfunction, probably due to Kaspersky Protection browser extension. The sandbox process fails to terminate due to Kaspersky’s self defense module. Self defense has to be disabled in order to terminate the sandboxed process. Both Edge and Chrome will struggle once sandboxed due to this process.
