  1. THask's post in License on Secundary KSC Server was marked as the answer
    Hello ACAA_Neza,
from technical Point of View there are no issues with using the License on the 2 KSC Servers. Moving Devices from A to B needs time. You would like to use the second Server as a Secondary / Slave Server? If yes you have to add the License on the Secondary KSC too because as you can see here the License is not inherited.
    https://support.kaspersky.com/KSC/14.2/en-US/155205.htm
You should have a look on the License on the Main Server in the License usage Report including the Secondary Server. As I said normally there is no Problem if you have an eye on the License usage and also a short time of overlapping or over usage of License is no Problem.
If you have an over usage of the License you will see it very clear when a License is deployed and will removed after seconds from the target Device.
For Primary Secondary KSC Configuration please also have a look on this:

  3. THask's post in Difference between KES block and add IoC by ourselves. was marked as the answer
    Hello Asiatic Fiber Corporation,
so far you're right. unsuccessful attempts to sign in could be also real users so this is not detected or blocked by default. Yes if KES with all Components does not detect something maliscious and you find it, it is faster to create an IoC Scan task to block it before anything else is affected.
IoC is additional for preventing infections with doing actions like isolate Device from network.

    Hello create_share,
in a Case like the Agent is installed you can better check if the connection Address is the right one.
For check the connection you can use C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\NetworkAgent\klnagchk.exe this will show you the address and if a connection could be established.
If the wrong Connection Address is used you can change it with C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\NetworkAgent\klmover -address newaddress
If that is the cause of the issue you can create a bat or cmd file with that commands and deploy it with ksc

  7. THask's post in does Kaspersky block USB Ports on MAC was marked as the answer
    Hello William sonhana,
as you can see in the List of Modules in KES for Mac there is no Module Device Control what is necessary for blocking USB.
    https://support.kaspersky.com/KESMac/11.3_adminguide/en-US/96495.htm
Some OS offer more options to third Party Developers and Apple do it less that's why this module is not available in MacOS.
Maybe it will be available in the Future but now we don't have any options in KES Mac to block USB.

  8. THask's post in How to confirm the events in the report was marked as the answer
    Hello TRUNGTM,
you can't get sure because the Reports are generated for a Time period so last 7 or 30 days as Example and there is no option for something like was already included in a Report before.
So the Event is stored for a special Date / Time in the DB and will be requested by the Report if this match the Time period. If the Event doesn't match it will not be shown or is included in the Report. The other way is you can delete the Event than it is not included in the DB and will not be shown in the Report.

  9. THask's post in Setting up HTTPS access for Web Console with wildcard SSL cert was marked as the answer
    Hello lajoss,
in most of our Products we don't support wildcard certificates that will be the root cause of the issue why the connection could not be established after changing the Certificate.

  10. THask's post in change the message appear for end users when we block website was marked as the answer
    Hello Ahmed,
this is caused by encryption of Websites on a http Website you would see the Message that the Website is blocked by Kaspersky. That this is also appearing on https Sites you have to activate the Module Encrypted Connection Scan.
    https://support.kaspersky.com/Cloud/1.0/en-US/137999.htm
If Encrypted Connection Scan is not active it looks only like the Connection can't be established to the Site like on your Screenshot.

  11. THask's post in Kaspersky Endpoint security 11.10 to 12.2 not available in Kaspersky update utility after update was marked as the answer
    Hi Kasper2023,
the only Version what is missing is 12.2 atm. As you can see on your Screenshot the Versions are there but a bit hard to see 😉
it is listed after 11.10 than 11.11 than 12 etc so it is not shown on the end of the Versions where they should be.

  12. THask's post in No IOC Scan Option in Web Console was marked as the answer
    Hi create_share,
I think you have a missing Plugin in the Web Console.
So for adding Plugins you have to choose Console Settings - Web Plugins
+add Endpoint Detection and Response Optimum
After the Plugin was installed you should be able to create a task in the Web Console.

  13. THask's post in Where can I get information on how to implement and configure this product? was marked as the answer
    Hi DiegoFretes,
Kaspersky Security for Mail Server is our Name for Special Applications for Mail Applications like Linux Mail Server or MS Exchange Servers what is meaning our Products Kaspersky Security for Linux Mail Server or Kaspersky Security for MS Exchange Servers.
But KSMG is also included in the Mail Server License and this is an Gateway virtual Appliance what is scanning the Mail Traffic of both MS and Linux and it will be implemented in front of the Mail Servers and not installed on the Mail Servers itself like KLMS (Linux Mail Server) or KSE (Exchange)
So KSMG is scanning the Mail Traffic before the Traffic is on your Mail Server.

  14. THask's post in Uninstall KES v11 + Agent v14 command line was marked as the answer
    Hello Yoann,
the uninstallation from Network Agent with msiexec command is a bit tricky.
First of all you have to use a Ascii to HEX Converter for you password. When you have your pwd in Hex Format you have to fill in every two Symbols 00
So if your Password is "Animal" it is in HEX 41 6E 69 6D 61 6C so your Password is 41006E0069006D0061006C00
If you now would like to uninstall NA with msiexec command you should run:
    msiexec /x{Product Code} /qn /l*vx c:\windows\temp\nag_uninst.log /norestart KLUNINSTPASSWD=41006E0069006D0061006C00

  15. THask's post in I can't edit policies was marked as the answer
    Hello dancavalcant,
this sounds like an issue with the Plugin. Please try to uninstall it and re install it again.
You can find the uninstall string in the Registry of the Server where you installed KSC. Or do you have only the Console on your Device and use it for connect to KSC Server?
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\Components\28\Plugins\
You can Download the Plugin for KES 12.1 in KSC or on the Support Site:
    https://support.kaspersky.com/ksc11/settings/host/9333#block3

  16. THask's post in Update KES was marked as the answer
    Hello betoO,
it depends on the Version you would like to upgrade.
So as Example you would like to upgrade KES 11.0 to 12 there are 12 Versions between this and it is better to uninstall - re install.
In the Case you have installed KES 11.8-9-10 you can do also an upgrade Installation with the Actual Version 12.1 and do only a Install Task what will trigger the Upgrade Installation.
