Thanks but this does not help as I does not address Makop or why I was not protected nor what needa to be removed.

Hi just scanned my pc a few days ago but was infected by the Makop ransomware. After the attack, Kapersky still does not detect any ransomware or malware. Any ideas how to remove it?
