  1. I have uninstalled secure connect now, I was using the free 300MB limited version and I noticed it had not been updating, whether this is just an issue with the free version I don’t know but it might be worth checking what version you are using and checking it with the latest version.
  2. Doing that does not show copyright or version, only name, Type, and file size, date created, date modified, folder path, owner, computer.
  3. I have already done that, but what does it tell me????? Why click on properties???? please be clearer on the information you are giving me. I can right click on properties but it tells me nothing. What am I supposed to be looking for?????
  4. I believe it has been like that for a while now, that is made experience at least.
  5. Earlier today I noticed a .exe file appear on my desktop: it is named - Install Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection version 21.2.16.590. I already have Kaspersky VPN Secure Connect on my computer although it is an older version number. I thought this would automatically be updated when my free version security cloud anti virus is updated. Is this a legit kaspersky file, and should I install it?
  6. The 4 invalid files were picked up by superantispywares system investigator tool not in kaspersky alert here is the screen shots of the kaspersky alert and the superantispyware invalid dll files message. a whois search of URL https://www.whois.com/whois/msedge.net
  7. By the way, how can I access settings now that it is showing my password as being invalid?
  8. I am using free version of Kaspersky Security Cloud. I am unable to access settings now as it will not accept my password for some reason. It says invalid password. It was working o.k before but now It is saying it is invalid. I have only noticed the problems since I recently installed Kaspersky. Windows is updating o.k and shows up to date, and Windows history shows updates present Here is GSI There is a folder named eventlogs but I cannot upload it. contained in the folder is 2 files named: application.evt and system.evt when I try to upload folder there is nothing there. They are no text files, those files open event viewer in Windows when clicked on. There is a text file called windowsupdate.log but I don’t think that is what you mean. I think there should be a windows event .txt file but I can’t find one.
  9. Can you help please? I keep getting the following message pop up: Cannot Guarantee authenticity of domain to which an encrypted connection is being established. Application: Microsoft Windows Operating System URL: Ion21r2msedge.net Reason: Invalid name of certificate, either the name is not on the allowed list or was explicitly excluded. I believe the URL seems to point to a Microsoft Edge Server, but don’t no whether it is legit. Having run Superantispyware system investigator it shows up 4 invalid .dll files and a lot of unsigned .dll files related to Windows system. This is just a few of the many unsigned .DLL files the system investigator found CORTANA.DLL, CORTANA.EXE, HXACCOUNT.EXE, HXCOMM.IPC.PROXIES.DLL, HCOMMODEL.DLL, HXOUTLOOK.DLL it flags them as Microsoft Corporation Unsigned Digital Certificate not present or unavailable to verify.
