  1. Hi bobbycooper, I purchased KIS and the new license and activation code are showing up on My Kapersky account. I wanted to verify with you on how exactly to "insert the new license in the existing product". I clicked on the Kapersky icon in the toolbar of my computer and then clicked on Subscription 0 Days Remaining at the bottom right of the main window that came up. It then shows the expiring license with an "x" to the right of it. I then clicked on the "x" thinking it would give me a chance to enter the new license code. Instead I received a warning that I would be disabling the product. I stopped at that point to check if this is the correct way to proceed, will I get a chance to paste in the new license? Thanks in advance for your reply.
  2. Thank you for your informative answer. I'm going to try it. If I decide to upgrade to the latest version of the product, should I uninstall (using Windows utility) the version I have first, and then activate the new license, and load the latest version?
  3. My KIS subscription is expiring in a couple days. I was notified that it was going to be Auto-renewed. I called Kapersky and cancelled the auto renewal. Since then I've been receiving emails periodically offering 15% off the $69 renewal price. I've also noticed that for "new users" the promotional rate is $39.99. Also at the bottom of the 15% discount offering email is this verbiage: "Additional online offers & discounts may be available at the time of your renewal which are not applicable to your subscription. If you want to take advantage of discounts available at the date of expiration of your license you should perform the following steps: 1. Cancel your Auto-Renewal Plan (details on how to cancel above) before your automatic billing date 2. Manually renew/purchase a new license on the date of expiration of your current license" So first question, are renewal prices purposely 40% higher than for new users (my last year renewal price was $39.99). Second question, if I wait until after my expiration date, am I considered a new user (email verbiage seems to suggest that)? Third question, will "purchase a new license" involve loading a completely new version of KIS? Currently what I have works well with my Windows 7, will I risk the new version of KIS not working?
