Western Digital Backup not seeing USB drives

Kaspersky does not allow the Western Digital Backup software to see the two external WD HDs and one LeCie HD I have plugged into the USB ports. How do I disable the blocking feature? I have looked on the Internet and tried what was suggested with no luck.
