    Contact support, they have access to your private information & should be able to assist, on the support page: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts, select either Chat or Email, then fill in Order and payment issues, Other template; please include a detailed history.

    We will get a new version of KIS in 2023 ? Then I will buy a new product key of it from my retailer as I don't have access to either a CC or Net Banking for the Subscription Kaspersky Standard.

    1. Not necessarily, which region are you in? 
    2. The new software range does not use Activation codes like version 21.3, the new software range uses the License code; the License code is automictically added to (your) MyKaspersky account when the software is purchased; the software activates on the purchase date, not the install date, read: Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium - info & FAQ

    I am from India, I see the new versions for purchase on the Indian portal of Kaspersky.

    Btw has KIS been discontinued?

    Has the KIS 1User 3Yr Boxed Editions been discontinued in India?

    They clearly denied the existence of any boxed products and said they can't comment on keys sold on Amazon. And were constantly nagging me to purchase from Kaspersky store which I did in the past. I will contact the previously authorised dealer name on the last box I purchase to see if they have any clue.

    The keys have to come from Kaspersky and not from a keygen I suppose as they are now checked properly by the servers before activation and people have been using them for more than few years and not blaclisted.

    Anyways, support also said to wait out the rest of the remaining 120 days of license validity to see if boxed versions are relaunched.

    2. Best to contact Kaspersky support, possibly a regional marketing team will need to be consulted, we've not been able to get much information about the region for the last 11 months?

    Couldn't find any credible info about the same. Looks like have to purchase online with extra price for 2 year validity instead of 3.

    For both issues, when each red alert is selected, there's additional detail -> in the lower part of the Report, please make clear, full screen screen-prints & post back OR save the Report, by selecting SAVE (top right hand corner of the Report window), as a text file, upload to cloud & post the share link so we can read the full detail?

    Sure will upload the logs to GDrive.

    Hi,
    I was browsing through the reportds in KIS APP and it is showing in System Audit in Red alert for Task Cannot be Performed in Web Anti Virus and Network Attack blocker for 13:04 PM Today. Do I need to reinstall anything?

    I performed a KIS Rescue Disk scan and PC came clean

    Can anyone check if these websites have been compromised with adware/hijacker

    Some websites like TomsHardware, PCGamer, GamesRadar may have been comprised with malware. This issue was shown on devices that didn't have any adblocker to block the script like a fresh Windows Install (personally checked on a Virtual machine), Android etc.

    It looks like this happened from the websites that are using a common theme which may have been hijacked. I have uploaded the screenshots. The domain from which it was downloaded maybe an infected one.

    The file downloaded is a 0 byte file named "download" that has icon of Windows Drive folder. On android it says that download failed and the file is  the same 0 byte.
    The domain from where the file is downloaded is supposedly a adware/ browser jacking malware pusher.

    KIS didn't Auto update after reinstallation

    HI,
    I just reinstalled KIS on my PC and it said database was extremely out of date but it didn't update itself automatically. The version that was installed was 21.3.10.391(h) downlaoded from kaspersky.co.in
    I had to manually press on update to let it update itself to the new (i) version. I have a 24x7 online ftth internet with 150Mbps speed.
    So is this a normal occurence?

    Anyone know about these websites from Amazon?

    Yesterday saw some websites from Amazon with Arcus prefix.

    Like:

    "https://arcus-www.amazon.com"

    "https://arcus-www.amazon.in"

    "https://arcus-www.amazon.co.uk"

    I did some own research with an alternate account and found these points.

    Whois and all registration info points to Amazon being the owner for arcus-....... domain.

    Arcus is a webcache service owned by AWS.

    Login page of "fake" website redirects to amazon.in / com / uk. 

     

    Logging out of amazon.in logs you out of arcus-........ website.

    Anyone knows what is this arcus thingy is and if this is safe or not? 

    Kaspersky doesn't throw up any error or warnings.
